Convert amCharts stock chart period selector into a dropdown - amcharts

I am using amCharts stock chart to show trades within a period of time. I am using php and ajax to get values.
Now I do have period selector as buttons but I need them as a select. When a user selects a value from dropdown, the chart zoom should change accordingly. Is it possible to do that?
Below is my code to get a stock chart. Please help.
<div id="chartdiv" style="width:100%; height:400px;"></div>
<select id="mySelect" onchange="test()">

<option value="60">1H

JSGRID - Excel-like keyboard navigation

I have a jsgrid gride and I want to activate edit mode in next line after hit enter key (or arrow down key) in "inline edition" and focus on the same column but next line, as Excel -like keyboard navigation.
The only achievement is to fire update with enter key but how to activate edition in the next line in the same column?

loading json data How to show clustered bar charts in dynamic graphs

Updated
Can you possible graphs value dynamic.
Below code pass a static value but i get dynamic code graphs.
Example: resultx get 3-4 subcategory i every time define graphs value.
var processedChartData = resultx.map(function(rawDataElement) {
var newDataElement = { "category": rawDataElement.category };
rawDataElement.data.forEach(function(nestedElement, index) {
newDataElement["value" + index] = nestedElement.value;
newDataElement["subcategory" + index] = nestedElement.subcategory
});
return newDataElement;
});
AmCharts.makeChart(id, {
"type": "serial",
"theme": "light",
"categoryField": "category",
"rotate": false,
"startDuration": 0,
"categoryAxis": {
"gridPosition": "start",

Original question:
Clustered bar charts Array inside key how to display multiple bar charts.
My json below:
[
{
"0":
{
"package_sold":"88",
"vSectorName":"Meat"
},
"country":"France"
},
{
"0":
{
"package_sold":"68",
"vSectorName":"Meat"
},
"1":
{
"package_sold":"151",
"vSectorName":"Poultry"
},
"country":"United Kingdom"
}
]
How to show in graph dataProvider
AmCharts doesn't support nested JSON. You'll need to flatten your JSON into a single object so that your valueFields are distinct in each element of your array.
For example, this:
{
"0":
{
"package_sold":"68",
"vSectorName":"Meat"
},
"1":
{
"package_sold":"151",
"vSectorName":"Poultry"
},
"country":"United Kingdom"
}
can be turned into this:
{
"Meat_package_sold": 68,
"Poultry_package_sold": 151,
"country": "United Kingdom"
}
From there you can set your graph valueField to "Meat_package_sold" and "Poultry_package_sold". I'm assuming your categoryField is "country".
You'll either need to change your backend or write some some JS to remap your data to a format that AmCharts can recognize.
Edit: Here's a basic example that remaps your JSON data using JS:
var rawData = [{
"0": {
"package_sold": "88",
"vSectorName": "Meat"
},
"country": "France"
},
{
"0": {
"package_sold": "68",
"vSectorName": "Meat"
},
"1": {
"package_sold": "151",
"vSectorName": "Poultry"
},
"country": "United Kingdom"
}
]
var newData = [];
rawData.forEach(function(dataItem) {
var newDataItem = {};
Object.keys(dataItem).forEach(function(key) {
if (typeof dataItem[key] === "object") {
newDataItem[dataItem[key]["vSectorName"] + "_package_sold"] = dataItem[key]["package_sold"];
} else {
newDataItem[key] = dataItem[key];
}
});
newData.push(newDataItem);
});
console.log(JSON.stringify(newData));
Demo of your chart using the correct JSON format:
var chart = AmCharts.makeChart("chartdiv", {
"type": "serial",
"theme": "light",
"categoryField": "country",
"graphs": [{
"fillAlphas": 0.8,
"lineAlpha": 0.2,
"type": "column",
"valueField": "Meat_package_sold"
},
{
"fillAlphas": 0.8,
"lineAlpha": 0.2,
"type": "column",
"valueField": "Poultry_package_sold"
}
],
"dataProvider": [{
"Meat_package_sold": 88,
"country": "France",
}, {
"Meat_package_sold": 68,
"Poultry_package_sold": 151,
"country": "United Kingdom"
}, {
"Meat_package_sold": 120,
"Poultry_package_sold": 110,
"country": "Germany"
}]
});

In actual, i use ajax to get json data and then building it dynamically.

How do I get which data is being grouped in AmChart pie

I'm using a bar chart yo show what is selected in a pie chart. The pie chart has "groupPercent": 5, and I can't change this. The problem is that, when I select te "Other" slice of the pie, it shows all the data in the bar chart.
Can I show only what is included in "Other" slice?
Can I get this data in JSon type or something like that?
I think the solution is near the pullOutSlice listener:
chart.addListener("pullOutSlice", function (event) {
if (event.dataItem.dataContext.data != undefined) {
var skus = event.dataItem.dataContext.data;
Thanks!

Chart example:
Image of the different views of charts
It appears that there isn't a direct way to do this. You'll need to loop through your dataProvider and aggregate the elements whose calculated percent value is under the groupPercent threshold then aggregate each element's sub array into a dataProvider array for your bar chart. For example:
if (event.dataItem.dataContext.skus != undefined) {
chart1BarData = collectiveData;
chart1BarTitle = "Todos los resellers"
chart2.dataProvider = collectiveData;
chart2.titles[0].text = "Todos los resellers";
chart2.validateData();
chart2.animateAgain();
}
else {
var sum = event.chart.chartData.reduce(function(accumulator, dataElement) {
return accumulator + dataElement.value;
}, 0);
var groupedElements = [];
event.chart.dataProvider.forEach(function(dataElement) {
if ((dataElement[event.chart.valueField] / sum) * 100 < event.chart.groupPercent) {
groupedElements.push(dataElement);
}
});

Amcharts add Euro symbol to value in balloon

This is my Json response, I can't figure out how I can add Euro symbol to my values. Ofcourse this is an idea of response and not the actual array that is being sent.
{"graphAxis":[{"valueAxis":"v0","lineColor":"#00969e","bullet":"round","bulletBorderAlpha":1,"bulletSize":"8","bulletBorderThickness":1,"bulletColor":"#FFFFFF","lineThickness":"2","hideBulletsCount":"50","title":"Prolongatie brandstoftermijn","valueField":"Prolongatie brandstoftermijn","costTypeId":15,"useLineColorForBulletBorder":true}],"dataProvider":[{"Prolongatie brandstoftermijn":4163.82,"date":"2016-01-01"},{"Prolongatie brandstoftermijn":7297.77,"date":"2016-02-01"},{"Prolongatie brandstoftermijn":7297.77,"date":"2016-03-01"},{"Prolongatie brandstoftermijn":162.43,"date":"2016-04-01"}]}
Can anyone provide any inputs on how to add Eur symbol to balloon text
This is my code in js file
//ajax request to show graph
$("#diaplayGraph").click(function(event) {
event.preventDefault();
$.ajax
({
url: $("#frmCostViewGraph").attr('action'),
data: $("#frmCostViewGraph").serialize(),

var message = '';
var selectedCostAllocations = $("#costAllocations").val();
var selectedCostTypes = $("#costTypes").val();
if(selectedCostAllocations == null) {
errorMessage($("#costAllocationError").html());
return false;
}
if(selectedCostTypes == null) {
errorMessage($("#costTypeError").html());
return false;
}
if($('input[name=reportType]:checked').length<=0)
{
errorMessage($("#reportTypeError").html());
return false
}

This should be done with the graphs array, within your graphAxis.
If for instance you have an graph implementation like this, you can add the euro sign to the balloonText property:
success: function(result) {
hideMessage();
chartData = result.dataProvider;
graphAxis = result.graphAxis;
if(graphAxis && graphAxis[0]) {
graphAxis[0].balloonText = "<b>€ [[Prolongatie brandstoftermijn]]</b>";
}
//...
}

Toggle trendline in AmCharts

Is there a way to toggle trendline (hide/show with a click) in Amcharts by using legend or any other button.
Please help if anybody encountered this situation.
Thanks in advance.
This is an old post but the previous answer is misleading so could confuse anyone new looking at this.
In Amcharts you can add a trend line as another graph - it just needs to be supplied with data as your other graphs. This will appear in the legend so you can toggle it on/off.
There is no method to hide/show trend lines. So the only way to do this would be remove the trend line from array, validate data and then add it again when needed.
Passing Data to AM-charts in Line Charts using database in Asp.net and C#.
Here is the code it worked for me
