Installing MDBootstrap (Vue version) in laravel 5.7 - laravel

I've been trying to set up a project in Laravel 5.7 and one of the requirements is that it need to have MDBootstrap and Vue.js. I tried following the official guide for installing MDB Vue as a dependency using
npm install --save mdbvue
but now according to the guide, now I need to add 2 imports
import 'bootstrap-css-only/css/bootstrap.min.css';
import 'mdbvue/build/css/mdb.css';
before importing the app.vue file but I'm not sure how to do this in the laravel (5.7) environment.
First, I can't find the location of the URLs of the imports above. And second, where am I suppose to place these imports?
If anyone has done this setup before, would appreciate any guidance.
Thanks

After digging into the errors this is the solution I found.
The import are already done for you so that step can be skipped the missing step was to do npm install --save-dev babel-preset-stage-2 with this everything worked fine for me

laravel app.js after install vuetify large file size

I try to add vuetify in laravel and make web admin. but my app.js file is over 6mb 7mb.
Using laravel 5.8 and vuetify
how can to reduce file size?
Be sure you are using minified version of vuetify.
run following command
npm install vuetify vuetify-loader stylus stylus-loader style-loader css-loader --save

Use A-la-carte to only import modules you really need.

How do I install vuetify directly from github?

When I try with
npm install vuetifyjs/vuetify#v1.5.2
I get "Cannot find package".
UPDATE:
There is a packages folder under which there is a vuetify directory.
I tried npm installing that folder. Everything appeared to go well until I started the dev server.
Now in the console log I see:
[Vuetify] Multiple instances of Vue detected
Seems to be related to https://github.com/vuetifyjs/vuetify/issues/4068 but I cannot tell what the solution is at this point.
I had the same issue to use my own version of Vuetify, waiting for my pull request being accepted.
Here what I did:
I build the vuetify project with my fix.
yarn
yarn build
Then I took the content of 'packages/vuetify' and put it in a new git repository. I remove the .gitignore to be able to commit built files (/es5, /lib, /lib-temp, /dist)
Finally I add this git repository to my project to replace my vuetify version:
npm install git+https://gitlab.com/GITLABUSERNAME/REPOSITORYNAME.git
Looking at the package.json file, the package doesn't have a name property, which it would need to have for you to be able to install it from GitHub.
So the short answer is that you can't install vuetify directly from GitHub via npm.
However, you can install it directly from npm:
npm install vuetify#1.5.2
You can't install vuetify directly from GitHub but you can edit code in 1 component node_modules/vuetify/lib/components/VSlider/VSlider.js Then, you install patch-package and execute path package vuetify Delete node modules and execute yarn to create new node modules Last, yarn serve, you see your code is work

So, i found out that its happening when i import :
#import "~bourbon/app/assets/stylesheets/_bourbon.scss";
and i implemented something like :
.error-bg-img {
background:url("../img/errorbg.jpg");
background-size:cover;
}
I am trying to tell you what i had in the code that occur the problem.
I have been trying google it, reinstall so many things, move things around but hopeless. I am a newbie in sass, webpack, and laravel-mix.
Thanks so much
Alright guys,
I fixed the problem, i didn't now that webpack will automaticly copy the image in /img folder to /public. So i moved my /img from public/ folder to /resources/assests/. And everything is fine now.
Its all about the path. Sorry i am pretty new with webpack and didn't know about that.
#import "bourbon/bourbon";
Have a look at the installation guideline here: https://github.com/thoughtbot/bourbon#requirements

Class 'Stripe\Stripe' not found error in PHP

I installed laravel and composer and created my first project in laravel. I want to integrate stripe using PHP. When I try to execute my first project in localhost I take this message:
Fatal error: Class 'Stripe\Stripe' not found in C:\xampp\htdocs\laravel\stripe\public\elda.php on line 21
To include the stripe libraries, I inserted inside the composer.json file the code from the API library for PHP. Here is an image of my composer.json file:
I run composer install in cmd and this is the output:
You may be getting outdated dependencies. Run update to update them.
I run composer update and the output is the error in the image below:
Can someone help me to solve this error?
Well, sorry did not make a comment of your post, but I have not enough points to do so. But you need to run composer install in the terminal after that includes a new package.
I had the same issue, but when I ran this command my issue is resolved.
composer require stripe/stripe-php
I hope this may help you, after you update your composer.

how to safely update way generators 3.0 package in laravel 4.2

i figured out too late that way generators version 3 package is not compatible with laravel version 4.2 it only work with laravel 5, now i need to switch to a previous version of the package and i do not know how to do it properly as my laravel project is in the half way.
Thank you so much for any further help
Update your composer.json file to use "way/generators": "~2.0". Once that is done, run the following command:
composer update "way/generators" --dev
By providing the package name to the composer command, composer will only update the specified package.
