fetch request failed on react-native - ajax

I am currently learning react-native and I am having an issue with fetch request.
It's giving me an error in the image shown below.
**Note: I test the url with react, and it works there. But for some reason it does not work on react-native.
The code:
constructor(props) {
super(props);
this.state = {
isLoading: true,
data: null,
error: null
}
}
componentDidMount() {
return fetch('https://ptx.transportdata.tw/MOTC/v2/Bike/Availability/Taipei?$format=JSON')
.then((res) => res.json())
.then((resJson) => {
this.setState( {
isLoading: false,
data: resJson,
})
})
.catch((error) => {
console.log(error);
this.setState({
error: error
})
})
}
The error is the following:
error description

A few things:
You don't need a return statement in componentDidMount.
When I try to fetch the URL, I got a 401 unauthorized. According to their API docs you need an app id and api key. Are you setting those when making the request?

Set cookies and return user on Cypress request

Problem
I have a Cypress command where I can login with a random user. The API will return the following response:
{
user: { ... }
token: { ... }
}
What I would like to do is to:
Create user using cy.request
Set the cookie in the browser
Return the response out of the command so that I can work with it outside of the command
What I have tried
return cy.request({
method: 'POST',
url: getApiUrl('__cypress__/login'),
body: requestBody,
log: false,
})
.then(({ body }) => {
cy
.setCookie('_token', body.token.plainTextToken)
.then(() => {
Cypress.log({
name: 'login',
message: JSON.stringify(body),
consoleProps: () => ({ user: body }),
});
});
})
.its('body', { log: false }) 👈 times out here
What I'm looking for is to do something like:
cy.login().then(({ user }) => {
// use logged in user
})
Question
Cypress times out on .its(...) line. Is this possible to do it? Looking at the docs I couldn't find any example on what I'm trying to achieve
(from the comments)
It happens because previously chained subject, does not return anything. An explicit return for the body property will fix it.

NestJs Timeout issue with HttpService

I am facing a timeout issue with nestJs Httpservice.
The error number is -60 and error code is 'ETIMEDOUT'.
I am basically trying to call one api after the previous one is successfully.
Here is the first api
getUaaToken(): Observable<any> {
//uaaUrlForClient is defined
return this.httpService
.post(
uaaUrlForClient,
{ withCredentials: true },
{
auth: {
username: this.configService.get('AUTH_USERNAME'),
password: this.configService.get('AUTH_PASSWORD'),
},
},
)
.pipe(
map((axiosResponse: AxiosResponse) => {
console.log(axiosResponse);
return this.getJwtToken(axiosResponse.data.access_token).subscribe();
}),
catchError((err) => {
throw new UnauthorizedException('failed to login to uaa');
}),
);
}
Here is the second api
getJwtToken(uaaToken: string): Observable<any> {
console.log('inside jwt method', uaaToken);
const jwtSignInUrl = `${awsBaseUrl}/api/v1/auth`;
return this.httpService
.post(
jwtSignInUrl,
{ token: uaaToken },
{
headers: {
'Access-Control-Allow-Origin': '*',
'Content-type': 'Application/json',
},
},
)
.pipe(
map((axiosResponse: AxiosResponse) => {
console.log('SUCUSUCSCUSS', axiosResponse);
return axiosResponse.data;
}),
catchError((err) => {
console.log('ERRRORRRORROR', err);
// return err;
throw new UnauthorizedException('failed to login for');
}),
);
}
Both files are in the same service file. Strangely, when i call the second api through the controller like below. It works fine
#Post('/signin')
#Grafana('Get JWT', '[POST] /v1/api/auth')
signin(#Body() tokenBody: { token: string }) {
return this.authService.getJwtToken(tokenBody.token);
}
When the two api's are called, however, the first one works, the second one that is chained is giving me the timeout issue.
Any ideas?
Two things that made it work: changed the http proxy settings and used switchMap.

How to fix 405 (Method Not Allowed) using vue js and laravel

Hi developers I have currently problem this project is an old project where the developer created. right now, we need to adjust some of there functionality. Right now I already extract the files to my localhost folder and now work without error on run watch and artisan serve. So the problem here is on login on the console it shows that http://localhost:8000/project/oauth/token 405 (Method Not Allowed), I really don't understand why this shows on the localhost however on the live server it works.
This project created using Vue Js and Laravel for the backend.
I will show you guys the authentication function.
Login Function:
authenticate(){
this.login_alert = false
this.$validator.validateAll().then((result)=>{
if(result){
const self = this;
const authUser = {}
try{
const data = {
username: this.email,
password: this.password,
remember: this.remember_me,
client_id: '2',
client_secret: 'secret',
grant_type : 'password',
scope : ''
}
this.$store.dispatch('AUTH_REQUEST',data)
.then(response=>{
console.log(data);
authUser.access_token = response.access_token
authUser.refresh_token = response.refresh_token
authUser.expires_in = response.expires_in
window.localStorage.setItem('project_token',JSON.stringify(authUser))
/*LOGIN*/
this.login_alert = false
this.loading = false
window.location.reload()
})
.catch(error=>{
this.login_alert = true
window.localStorage.removeItem('project_token')
this.loading = false
})
}catch(err){
console.log(err);
}
}
})
}
For the AUTH REQUEST:
AUTH_REQUEST:({commit,dispatch},obj)=>{
return new Promise((resolve,reject) => {
axios({
url: '/project/oauth/token',
data: obj,
method:'post',
config:'JSON'
})
.then(response=>{
if(response.status == 200){
resolve(response.data);
}
})
.catch(error=>{
reject(error);
localStorage.removeItem('project_token');
commit('AUTH_ERROR',error);
})
})
},
Hope some one experience this. thanks.
In my case, the compilation of the route should be specified properly, for example
async purchaseDelete(purchase) {
Csrf.getCookie();
return Api.delete('/api/purchase_settings/${purchase.id}');
},
the single tick on the axios delete method didnt represent correctly
async purchaseDelete(purchase) {
Csrf.getCookie();
return Api.delete(`/api/purchase_settings/${purchase.id}`);
}
When changed to back ticks, it responded with the correct result

React Native crash when register exist user by RxJS ajax

I am register new strapi user by RxJS ajax. When user already exist, I expect the 'user already exist' return but It crash my app.
Unhandled JS Exception: You provided 'undefined' where a stream was expected. You can provide an Observable, Promise, Array, or Iterable.
How to handle error with RxJS ajax?
import { ajax } from "rxjs/ajax";
import { map, catchError } from "rxjs/operators";
const testAjax = () => {
const test$ = ajax({
url: "http://localhost:1337/auth/local/register",
method: "POST",
body: {
username: "email3#test.com",
email: "email3#test.com",
password: "password"
}
})
.pipe(
map(userResponse => userResponse),
catchError(error => console.log("Error: ", error))
)
.subscribe(({ response }) => {
console.log("res: ", response);
});
};
did you try console userResponse , map(userResponse => console.log('users: ', userResponse)), may be there was the reason for the crash

How to stub a call to graphql using cypress?

I'm writing a Vue app that uses vue-apollo to interact with graphql. I'm wondering if it's possible to stub the graphql requests. I thought this should work:
it('should access a story', function() {
cy.server();
cy.route('http://localhost:3002/graphql', {
data: {
Story: { id: 2, title: 'story title', content: 'story content' }
}
});
cy.visit('/stories/2');
});
Unfortunately, I get an error from graphql complaining that id is an Int instead of an ObjectId. Am I missing something?
The problem was that stubbing fetch requests isn't yet implemented in Cypress (which is what Vue Apollo is using). I ended up following these instructions:
Install github/fetch
Add this to cypress/support/index.js:
.
Cypress.on('window:before:load', win => {
win.fetch = null;
win.Blob = null;
});
Now it works!
I got it working with this package here:
npm i #iam4x/cypress-graphql-mock
Add this line to 'support/commands.js'
import "#iam4x/cypress-graphql-mock";
go to your graphiql playground and download your schema
add task command to 'plugins/index.js' (REMEMBER TO CHANGE PATH TO SCHEMA FILE YOU DOWNLOADED EARLIER)
module.exports = (on, config) => {
on("task", {
getSchema() {
return fs.readFileSync(
path.resolve(__dirname, "../../../schema.graphql"),
"utf8"
);
}
});
};
write your tests with loaded schema
beforeEach(() => {
cy.server();
cy.task("getSchema").then(schema => {
cy.mockGraphql({
schema
});
});
});`
describe("Login Form", () => {
it("should redirect after login", () => {
cy.mockGraphqlOps({
operations: {
Login: {
login: {
jwt: "some-token",
user: {
id: "5d5a8e1e635a8b6694dd7cb0"
}
}
}
}
});
cy.visit("/login");
cy.getTestEl("email-input").type("Max Mustermann");
cy.getTestEl("password-input").type("passwort");
cy.getTestEl("submit").click();
cy.getTestEl("toolbar-title").should("exist");
});
})
Visit the original repo for further explanation as i find it less confusing. The package you have installed is just a working fork of this one:
