Spring 2.0.0 - migrate gives error: NoClassDefFoundError: com/jayway/jsonpath/spi/mapper/JacksonMappingProvider - spring

When migrating my Spring Boot 1.4.3-release application to Spring Boot 2.0.0. I get this error:
NoClassDefFoundError:
com/jayway/jsonpath/spi/mapper/JacksonMappingProvider
The Spring Boot Parent has the 2.0.0. The jsonpath jayway has the 2.2.0 version.
For the Jsonpath I use. I want to scan parts of the JSON, not map the whole json string to objects ... in this case.
import net.minidev.json.JSONArray;
import net.minidev.json.JSONObject;
import net.minidev.json.JSONValue;
What I am doing wrong?
SOLVED: there were 2 issues:
See below thanks to #Barath -- json-path for Spring Boot 2.0.0 needs at least the 2.4.0 version.
While upgrading the source part to Spring Boot 2.0.0 I forgot to remove the older version specification for the spring-boot-starter-test.

It seems like pom.xml dependencies are not synced yet. Reload project once from Maven window -> Reload project. It will reload your project with fresh dependencies again and your imports package issue will go away.

Possible discrepancies in pom.xml preventing Spring mappings while launching war on Tomcat 7

I've been working at this problem for quite some time, and am at a loss.
What baffles me beyond belief is that I once had this configuration working with the pom unaltered which makes me think the issue involves configuration within IntelliJ. I thought that may have been due to using an older version of Tomcat 7, but when I went back to try that version (7.0.92), I had the same result. Currently I am on version 7.0.99.
The issue involves no errors, for some reason the Spring mappings aren't being hit, which were previously all logged within the output in the server log. I've tried many tweaks to the pom to no avail.
Currently the Application class has the #SpringBootApplication annotation.
The pom was written previously (so apologies if a bit unweildy); I'm just working to refactor bits at this point to attempt to get it working.
Any help is greatly appreciated, I've scoured the internet quite thoroughly and have been banging my head against the wall for some time now...
Here is the pom for reference:

import org.apache.tomcat.jdbc.pool.datasource maven cannot be resolved while upgrading from spring boot version 1 to 2

I am getting this cannot be resolved error while upgrading from spring boot version 1.5.3 to version 2.1.3.
I also checked
org.apache.tomcat.jdbc.pool.DataSource
This package is not present in Maven Dependency.
same with
import org.springframework.boot.web.support
Solution which I tried:
1) done with Maven - > update Project
2) done uprading with all version of Spring Boot version above 2.X
3) done with all solutions which are mention here #SpringBootApplication cannot be resolved to a type In STS

Error Image
Both errors are definitely because of upgrading to Spring Boot 2.
According to migration guide:
org.apache.tomcat.jdbc.pool.DataSource
The default connection pool has switched from Tomcat to HikariCP. So your tomcat import wouldn't work. Actually you should use a common DataSource interface (import javax.sql.DataSource;) which is suitable for both HikariCP and Tomcat implementations among others.
import org.springframework.boot.web.support
In Spring Boot 2 the support of WebFlux was added. So now instead of the single org.springframework.boot.web package we have two subpackages (for plain old servlets and for WebFlux). In your case replace this import with import org.springframework.boot.web.servlet.support...

Help)Can any one help me in resolving the issue in Azure devops Pipeline
Error) I am getting the below error.
"Failed to execute goal on project gostar-mvc: Could not resolve
dependencies for project org.springframework.boot:gostar-
mvc:war:2.1.1.RELEASE: "
Could not find artifact jchem:jchem:jar:1.0 in central
My Query) I want the jchem:jchem:jar file to be added in the Azure Artifacts so that I can use the same in the CI pipeline. Is there any way to feed the jchem jar files into azure artifacts. Please Let me know.
Thanks in advance

You try to use an artifact jchem:jchem:jar:1.0 which is not in MavenCentral. So you need to configure (in your settings.xml or your POM), where Maven should search for it.

maven create copy of same jar with different name for sping project

I have one spring project due to some requirement I have to create copy of jars with different name.
Currently I am building and renaming as per the requirement, I need to automate that in pom during packaging time.
I tried below pom but its creating only default jars only
is there anyway where we can assign name to create multiple jar copy of same code
