I have searched this site and have been unable to find an answer to my problem. I have Outlook 2013 and I use the developer tab often to create forms and one day my toolbox was just completely empty. I have also scoured the internet and have found others with the same issue but no solution. Can anyone please help!!
You mean that the following Controls is empty of Outlook? You might need to try repairing the Office Installation via the Windows Control Panel. Please see the link:

I'm trying to download Apatana Studio 3.6.1. on Chrome but after I put in my email address and clicked the download button, it took me back to the top of the page. I tried it a few more times and I've still got this problem. I also tried it on Microsoft Edge and it did the same thing.
Please help, I need this software for my class.
I know it's a little late, but this GitHub issue documents where you can download the necessary files.

So, after using the new quote "Free" version of Visual Studio 2013 -- ie Visual Studio Community 2013 -- for a time, I have gotten the message that my "30 day trial" has expired...
License: 30 day trial (for evaluation purposes only)
This license has expired.
! Your trial has expired. Sign in to acquire a license using an online account
Ok...so I tried to click the "Sign On" option I was given. The result? I get this message in the window that comes up:
Sorry, we ran into a problem
SP324099: Could not complete the operation
This also happens when I try the Check for an updated license option.
According to the answers I saw

the fix was to update Internet Explorer to version 11. The only problem? I have IE11 already. I can't really find any way to fix this for Visual Studio Community 2013, and I'm not sure what to do with this. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
EDIT: I am not sure if this is relevant information but I will include it in the event that it is. When the error comes up, I get an IE browser window that pops up as well. This IE browser takes me to a site with an invalid/expired certificate (that appears to still be MSDN...I hope). I continue and log in to MSDN, but it just gives me this dictionary with {"securityToken": ["..."]}
Is the certificate problem related to this somehow? Does this information provide a clue as to what the answer is? Thanks.
After you have attempted to refresh the "free" license, if this popup window with the error message appears, just simply click on the X in the upper right-hand corner of the window to close the popup. (Instead of attempting to sign in again.)
I am running Visual Basic 6.0
never had a problem with it before but today when I tried to add the rich text edit component to a new project, it was not in the list of components. I have googled the problem to no avail. i even went to the trouble of i uninstalling and reinstalling visual studio. still didn't help.
does anyone know how to fix this?
The file must be installed and registered on your computer before you can use it.
It is called Microsoft Rich Textbox Control 6.0. Look for the file richtx32.ocx. You may need to use the browse button on the components dialog if vb cannot find the file.
If the file is missing, it may be included in VB6 service packs at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/aa718364
Is anyone else having issues with the find and replace dialog in Visual Studio 2010?
For as many improvements that have been made for multi monitor support is VS, this is making me crazy.
Whenever I open up the Find and Replace dialog in VS 2010, it often straddles the two monitors. The other dialogs, like Navigate To seem to always work.
Is this making anyone else go a little batty, or is it just me?
Anyone have a fix? Find and Replace VS extension?
Update:
There is a hotfix out for this issue now (KB2268081):
http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/Downloads
The Find and Replace dialog is now dockable. Dock it with the Properties window, as a good place to start.
Yeah, I noticed the same, it can get pretty annoying.
Based on feedback in Microsoft Connect this is a known issue that should be fixed for VS 2010 SP1.

You may try to use Actual Window Manager (http://www.actualtools.com/windowmanager/) to manage The Find and Replace dialog. Just create a specific rule to save size and position of the dialog and The Find and Replace dialog will appear at the same plase as you closed it last time.
Open Extension Manager - VS2010,
Download and install 2 extensions of the most downloads.
And restart your VS, you will find that Find and replace box will just like VS2012
I am developing my minor and major project in VS2008. Suddenly tools have started to go missing from my toolbar. I have visited several forums but am not able to solve the problem.
Basically I have silverlight 2.0 installed with SDK, and tools and all.
Now when I need to access the media element control from silverlight it does not display.
Further more on listing all controls I can see those controls but they are disabled.
Please Help Me out.

try it:
Reset all setting in tools -> Import and Export Setting menu
Or
2 You should update your VS 2008 SP1 with . NET 3.5
Hope this help,
I am not too sure, but it has something to do with the references in the project. I have the same problem with some of my projects when i started adding references to many assemblies.
When you reset the toolbox ,does it work ? On my computer, whenever I reset the toolbox, the icons come back only to disappear some time later after rebuilding the application many times.
Icons should not disappear from anywhere other than your toolbox.
Had the same problem:
Reset all setting in Tools -> Import and Export Setting menu
helped nicely))
It's weird but I was able to solve the problem by simply removing USB Mouse .:)
When i checked this out with some others developing on their laptops it came to me that it happens with very few of us in VS 2008 but still can drive on mad.
