I am trying to compile an ocx file using File > Make {FileName.ocx}
Then it starts compiling/making ocx and then I receive this error:
System Error &H800700C1 (-2147024703)
Anyone have an idea what this error may mean? or where I can go to find out?

I am currently trying to compile a Fortran 90 code using a module that is supposed to be in a dynamic library libfckit.so. So far my code is:
program debug
use fckit_mpi_module
end program debug
And for the compilation step I use the following command:
mpifc -I/path/to/the/lib debug_fckit.f90 -o debug_fckit.exe
I get the following error:
use fckit_mpi_module
1
Fatal Error: Can't open module file ‘fckit_mpi_module.mod’ for reading at (1): No such file or directory
I know that this is a common error in Fortran, I searched google but I did not find any satisfying solution for my case.
Thank you Vladimir and Evets for your comments that helped me to fix the issue. I just added the paths to the directories where the module fckit_mpi_module.mod and the library libfckit.so are. So now my command for compiling the code reads:
mpifc -I/path/to/the/directory/where/the/module/fckit_mpi_module.mod/is -l/path/to/the/directory/where/the/library/lifckit.so/is debug.fckit.f90 -o debug_fckit
Hope this helps some other noobie like me.
I'm trying to add Embree to an already working solution, following this resource I've added to my CMakeLists.txt file the following:
FIND_PACKAGE(embree 3.0 REQUIRED)
INCLUDE_DIRECTORIES(${EMBREE_INCLUDE_DIRS})
TARGET_LINK_LIBRARIES(application ${EMBREE_LIBRARY})
I've also created a Windows environment variable embree_DIR with my Embree installation folder ("C:\Program Files\Intel\Embree3 x64").
CMake configures the solution fine, but when I build I get a fatal error LNK1104: impossible to open 'embree3.lib'.
Just so you know, I actually have a C:\Program Files\Intel\Embree3 x64\lib\embree3.lib file.
Anyone has any clue why this might be happening?
Set EMBREE_ROOT_DIR e.g.:
set(EMBREE_ROOT_DIR "C:/thirdparty/vs2017/x64/embree-2.17.0")
Link to ${EMBREE_LIBRARIES}
target_link_libraries(YourApp
...
${EMBREE_LIBRARIES}
...
)
This is a super weird question for Visual Studio 2013: Windows Forms Application 3.5!
I designed and made the program, then I ran the program for the first time and an error pops up.
And then I click cancel, retry and this time I click yes and this pops up:
Error while trying to run project: Could not load file or assembly
'SourceProject' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's
manifest definition does not match the assembly reference.(Exception
from HRESULT: 0x80131040)
Any ideas on fixing it?
FULL ERROR LOG
Error 1 Unable to copy file "obj\Debug\SOURCEPROJECT.exe" to
"bin\Debug\SOURCEPROJECT.exe". Access to the path
'obj\Debug\SOURCEPROJECT.exe' is denied. SOURCEPROJECT
Just open your Debug Configuration near by Application Run Button in VS. Then , Choose debug with Any CPU to x64 or x86 .. May be it will help someone.
Thanks,
I have installed EmguCV 2.4.2.1777. I have a 32-bit windows 7 so I installed it using the installer. Now I am trying to write a simple code to capture a webcam's video in a window in C#.
The problem is after during execution I am getting the following famous error:
A first chance exception of type 'System.DllNotFoundException' occurred in Emgu.CV.dll
A first chance exception of type 'System.TypeInitializationException' occurred in Emgu.CV.dll
An unhandled exception of type 'System.TypeInitializationException' occurred in Emgu.CV.dll
The file Emgu.CV.dll is present in the folder. I don't understand why its giving that error.
I tried all the checks which are suggested by fellow stackoverflow users and also many other references:
1) Installed MSVCR: MSVCRT 10.0 SP1 x86
2) copied the OpenCV dlls to the execution directory
3) I also have a 32-bit OS. So that also should'nt be an issue.
But when I checked for dependencies, I faced a problem:
I used DependecyWalker to open cvextern.dll and found the following dependencies missing:
NVCUDA.DLL
API-MS-WIN-CORE-COM-L1-1-0.DLL
API-MS-WIN-CORE-WINRT-ERROR-L1-1-0.DLL
API-MS-WIN-CORE-WINRT-L1-1-0.DLL
API-MS-WIN-CORE-WINRT-ROBUFFER-L1-1-0.DLL
API-MS-WIN-CORE-WINRT-STRING-L1-1-0.DLL
API-MS-WIN-SHCORE-SCALING-L1-1-0.DLL
DCOMP.DLL
IESHIMS.DLL
It also gave the following:
Error: At least one required implicit or forwarded dependency was not found.
Warning: At least one delay-load dependency module was not found.
Warning: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in a delay-load dependent module.
Please help me out with the exception. Thanks in advance.
I copied all the dll files from C:\Emgu\emgucv-windows-universal-gpu 2.4.9.1847\bin\x86 to a folder called includes in my project and updated the "Copy To Output Directory" Option for these DLLs to "Copy Always" and it got rid of this issue.
I am running a build process and it has failed with this error that I cannot find much about. The error is Error 58, which fails on an object (.o) file. what does this mean?
If you are running on windows: Runtime error 58 usually displays in most Microsoft Windows operating systems. It occurs when Windows cannot insert data into a saved or renamed file that is identical to a file name that already exists in the specified folder.
EDIT: Try doing a clean and getting rid of your intermediate and end files before doing a build. Does it still happen ?
