In docs (https://developers.google.com/youtube/v3/docs/search/list) I've only found options that allow me to include only translations with the specified status (completed / live / upcoming) in my search results, but I have the reverse task - to exclude all translations from the search results. How to do it?
The videos.search method dos not have an option exclude broadcasts from search by video results.
You will need to do this yourself after you have downloaded the results
You may want to consider adding this as a feature request
I found the solution:
params.eventType = 'completed'

I'm trying to use youtube data search and video API in my web application to display top view-counted videos related with several keywords. I'm planing to use totally two calls: the first call get id list with search API, and the second call get details for the ids hit on the first call, with video API.
My question is with regard to search API. Based on my trial and error, If I input multiple keyword with space separation in the parameter q for search API, it's looks behaves as AND condition it's not same as common behavior such as google. To search with multiple keywords with OR condition, As far as I tried, it's looks working if I Include the OR between keywords, but I would like to confirm my assumption correct, officially if possible.
I should be able to find this kind of specification in the official documentation, but finally I have no luck. It's very helpful if you could share these links if exists or give me the official answer.
By the way, it is my first post to stackoverflow. If there is missing point of my question, please kindly advice.
Is there any possibility to make a search on two non-complete words in the same field using Elasticsearch in Rails? I mean the situation when I could successfully search for example "victorian buildings" phrase by inserting into search input for example "vict bui" phrase (only beginnings of words, also with fuzziness).
Partial match (word_start, text_start etc. available in Searchkick) doesn't work in this project. I've also tried using wildcard queries, but it also failed. Maybe writing some custom mappings/settings would be a good idea?
Can I ask you for any suggestions on what to search/read to do this task?
Try this example
"%#{params[:place]}%"
Since % is a wildcard, doing a like on '%%' matches everything,
and you get all the records in the result.
We have a need to add specific URLs through metadata-and-url feed and prevent GSA to follow links found on these pages. URLs found on this pages must be ignored even if they specified in Follow Patterns rules.
Is it possible to specify crawl depth for URLs added through metadata-and-url feed or maybe there are some other ways to prevent GSA follow URLs found on specific pages?
You can't solve this problem with just a metadata-and-URL feed. The GSA is going to crawl the links that it finds, unless you can specify patterns to block them.
There are a couple possible solutions I can think of.
You could replace the metadata-and-URL feed with a content feed. You'd then have to fetch whatever you want to index and include that in the feed. Your fetch program could remove all of the links, or it could "break" relative links by specifying an incorrect URL for each of the documents. You'd then have to rewrite the incorrect URLs back to the correct URLs in your search result display page. I've done the second approach before, and that's pretty easy to do.
You could use a crawl proxy to block access to any of the links you don't want the GSA to follow.
The easiest method to prevent this is to add the following to the "HEAD" section of your HTML.
This will prevent the GSA (and any other search engine) from following any links on the page.
Since you say that you can't add the relevant nofollow meta tags to your content then you can handle this using your follow and crawl patterns.
From the official documentation:
Google recommends crawling to the maximum depth, allowing the Google algorithm to present the user with the best search results. You can use URL patterns to control how many levels of subdirectories are included in the index.
For example, the following URL patterns cause the search appliance to crawl the top three subdirectories on the site www.mysite.com:
regexp:www\\.mysite\\.com/[^/]*$
regexp:www\\.mysite\\.com/[^/]*/[^/]*$
regexp:www\\.mysite\\.com/[^/]*/[^/]*/[^/]*$
I am sorry if it is not right to post a question on two forums.
We use Tivoli to monitor our logs files. The log4j log level is set to ERROR and Tivoli would raise tickets for these statements. But there are some known issues for which we would not want Tivoli to raise tickets. Is there a way to specify that some statements need to be ignored ?
Current regex : [/var/tmp/abc.log;ERROR(.*);error found: RegExp1]
This is very generic. We need to exclude certain framework errors (Hibernate / Mule) for a known issue. Is there a way to specify using a regex ?
Thanks,
Midhun
If you are using the LO Agent you can configure situation formula based on regular expression to fit your needs.
Below the LO Agent User Guide

Take a look at the "Log File RegEx Statistics attribute group" section:
The Log File RegEx Statistics attribute group contains information that shows the statistics of the log file
regular expression search expressions. Regular expressions can be used to filter records or to define
records. This attribute group shows information about both types. When the Result Type attribute value
is INCLUDE or EXCLUDE, the filter is used to filter records;
Hope this helps
I don't have the reputation yet to post a comment but I'd have liked to ask if you are using the Tivoli Log File Agent (lo) of the Unix Log Agent (ul) before answering.
If your question is still actual...
Here is documentationof LogAgent - http://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS4EKN_7.2.0.2/com.ibm.itm.doc_6.3/logfile/klo_fileformat_specs.htm
You can specify new Regex as DISCARDED and all records mathced this regex will be not catched by ITM Events.
If you use the special predefined event class DISCARD as your event class, any log records matching the associated pattern are discarded, and no events are generated for them. For example:
REGEX DISCARD
As a pattern matched, nothing is written to the unmatch log. The log file status records matched include these discarded events.
BTW
[/var/tmp/abc.log;ERROR(.*);error found: RegExp1]
may be better as
[/var/tmp/abc.log;ERROR([^;]*);error found: RegExp1]
.* is greedy and best avoided when possible
I'm in need to have more than 1 synonym for a search term in magento (version 1.4.2.0 - can't upgrade it for now), but all my attempts to add multiple synonyms have failed.
I've been looking around without any solution, any of you had a similar need and managed to find a solution?
Thanks for any help,
Mat.
So you have people look for 'doodad' or 'dodad' and you want to show people the 'macguffin' instead.
So far you have tried to add these search terms in on the back-end but it has not worked.
The fix-workaround is surprisingly simple.
Type in 'dodad' in the frontend - no result given.
Now type 'doodad' in the frontend - again no results.
Now go into the backend and go to the last page of the search terms.
The entries for 'dodad' and 'doodad' will be in there. You can now put 'macguffin' in the synonym box.
Now go to the front and type in 'dodad' or 'doodad' into the search box and it will take you straight to the 'macguffin' item.
