Unable to record Jmeter script - jmeter

I am new to JMeter and trying to record a JMeter script on firefox but getting an error message
Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue

First make sure you have followed all the steps below and especially the browser side configuration:
https://jmeter.apache.org/usermanual/jmeter_proxy_step_by_step.html
If your site is HTTPS, I would suggest you to use Blazemeter Plugin for Chrome to record your tests without much hassles and then export it later into Jmeter.

1.Try to add the link to trusted sites.
-In Firefox go to the Open Menu (Upper right 3 lines)
-Locate and select the “Security” tab.
-Click on the “Exceptions…” button.
Next type in the internet address you would like to remain trusted EX:
*.test.com
-Click “Close” then “OK” to complete this action.
Try recording with chrome.

Why isn't none of the contents of the page loading while recording script through JMeter in Firefox even after all the configurations are done right?

I am facing an issue with recording Scripts in FireFox browser through JMeter.
Configuration:
I have the Proxy setting in Firefox set to Proxy -localhost; Port -8080.
I have added the RootCA certificate to the browser.
I have set the Port number to 8080 in JMeter also.
Running Script:
TestPlan >Add >Non-Test Elements
Target Controller is set to TestPlan > HTTP(S) Test Script Recorder
Port number is set to 8080
Start - The recorder is displayed and recording starts.
Issue:
In Firefox, I have launched my application URL in my Test Server.
The Page title is the Application Page Title.
The URL displayed in the address bar is the URL that I have launched
But the page contents are not displayed. (There is no page load symbol nor is the page loading, even when left for 1 hour, contents of the page are not displayed.)
NOTE:
I have tried recording scripts in BlazeMeter App and Google with the same settings mentioned above and it worked fine.
I am facing this issue only with my application URL.
Is this issue related to Network or Proxy or Firewall?
I am using a Test Server which does not have Internet Connectivity and directly launches my application URL's.
Please help me understand what the issue is and let me know if there is any work around to it.
At least partial answer is always in jmeter.log file, either use your favourite text editor/log viewer application to open jmeter.log file content (it's generated in "bin" folder of your JMeter installation) or just tick the icon with yellow exclamation sign at right-top corner of JMeter GUI and it will open the log viewer panel:
You might want to re-try recording using special Recording Template
it's accessible from JMeter's main menu: File -> Templates

Script recording using Jmeter

I am using mozilla firefox browser to record a script using jmenter. I have set the browser proxy settings correctly. But, when I start recording the script, the webpage of an application is not getting loaded completely with all the content and correct alignment. Why? Could some one help me out here please.
Thanks
My expectation is that this is due to incorrect HTTPS configuration, try importing JMeter's self-signed certificate into Firefox like:
Choose the following options:
Tools / Options
Advanced / Certificates
View Certificates
Authorities
Import …
Browse to the JMeter launch directory, and click on the file
ApacheJMeterTemporaryRootCA.crt, press Open
Click View and check that the certificate details agree with the ones displayed by the JMeter Test Script Recorder
If OK, select "Trust this CA to identify web sites", and press OK
Close dialogs by pressing OK as necessary
More information: HTTPS recording and certificates section of the HTTP(S) Test Script Recorder JMeter User Manual chapter.
You can also consider an alternative solution of recording a JMeter test: use JMeter Chrome Extension, in this case you won't need to worry about proxies and certificate, just follow your test scenario steps and they will be recorded automatically.

JMeter: Why page keeps on loading continuously while recording using Proxy

I am trying to record a scenario where, after login, user clicks on a button that takes user to a page which has graphical data.
But just after Login and on click of button, the page keeps on loading continuously, however, manually it responds very fast.
I have confirmed security exception.
In case of any unexpected behaviour the first place you should take a look at is jmeter.log file - it normally contains enough troubleshooting information to figure out the cause.
You can increase log verbosity for the HTTP(S) Test Script Recorder by adding the next line to user.properties file (located under JMeter's "bin" folder)
log_level.jmeter.protocol.http.proxy=DEBUG
JMeter restart will be required to pick the property up.
Few other tips:
Try clearing your browser history (including cache)
Re-install JMeter dummy certificate
If nothing helps - there is an alternative option of recording a JMeter test via JMeter Chrome Extension

jmeter - unable to record on the c4c https page

I am using Jmeter 2.13 in proxy mode to record the c4c CRM cloud application.

I try click on the link- but could not open the link during recording, but without recording it is woring fine.
There is a NEW button during normal browsing, but during recording mode NEW button is not displayed.
please suggest me on this. and this is completely new to me
Thanks
Try in Recorder switching Implementation to Java and see if it helps.
Otherwise did you accept the certificate generated by JMeter ?

ApacheJMeterTemporaryRootCA.crt installed, still recording functionality is not working

I have imported the certificate - ApacheJMeterTemporaryRootCA.crt
but still I am getting the below message and it doesn't record.
Please suggest.
Steps I followed:
Under Workbench, I have added a 'HTTP(S) Test Script Recorder' > then a 'Sample Controller'.
I am clicking the Start button in the 'HTTP(S) Test Script Recorder' to start recording.
I have set the Port to 8080 and same I have set in my IE web browser.
To be sure to setup correctly recording use Recording Template.
Then configure your browser to point to the proxy host / ports
Check it's ok by calling a page in browser BEFORE STARTING RECORDER, if you get proxy error then it's OK if you get the page, fix your proxy settings in Browser.
Start Browser
Call Https Page and accept exception
