Unable to import JdbcBatchItemWriterBuilder in spring boot 1.5.7 version - spring

I am trying to write below code in the spring boot 1.5.7 version.
#Bean
public JdbcBatchItemWriter<WriterSO> writer(DataSource dataSource, ItemPreparedStatementSetter<WriterSO> setter) {
return new JdbcBatchItemWriterBuilder<WriterSO>()
.itemSqlParameterSourceProvider(new BeanPropertyItemSqlParameterSourceProvider<>())
.itemPreparedStatementSetter(setter)
.sql("insert into writer (id, fullName, randomNum) values (?,?,?)").dataSource(dataSource).build();
}
but unable to use or import the package belongs to JdbcBatchItemWriterBuilder. does this package is not available in springboot 1.5.7?
Below is my pom.xml which is using in the project :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

Any suggestions to write alternate code whcich works in springboot 1.5.7

According to JdbcBatchItemWriterBuilder javadoc, it was added in version 4, and Spring Boot 1.5.7 uses version 3 of Spring Batch, therefore it is not available to you.
You can use the constructor and set all the required fields:
#Bean
public JdbcBatchItemWriter<WriterSO> writer(DataSource dataSource, ItemPreparedStatementSetter<WriterSO> setter) {
JdbcBatchItemWriter<WriterSO> jdbcBatchItemWriter = new JdbcBatchItemWriter<>();
jdbcBatchItemWriter.setItemSqlParameterSourceProvider(new BeanPropertyItemSqlParameterSourceProvider<WriterSO>());
jdbcBatchItemWriter.setItemPreparedStatementSetter(setter);
jdbcBatchItemWriter.setSql("insert into writer (id, fullName, randomNum) values (?,?,?)");
jdbcBatchItemWriter.setDataSource(dataSource);
return jdbcBatchItemWriter;
}

Spring Boot 1.5.7 brings Spring Batch 3.0.8 which does not provide builders for item readers and writers.
These builders were introduced in Spring Batch 4 which can be consumed using Spring Boot 2.x.

EnableFeignClients and FeignClient annotation is not recognized in application class file

I am using spring boot starter parent version 2.6.3(latest version). I am using spring cloud version 2021.0.0 . I am using openfeign dependency in maven pom file. But, my import statements in the class are not recognizable. Also, I am getting red tick in pom.xml. If I comment out openfeign dependency , red tick disappears from pom.xml . I tried to check openfeign jar files content, it does not have FeignClient and EnableFeignClients class files. So, it does make sense to get error while importing in my application class file.
What should I do to fix the import statements? I would like to have working version of dependency. I saw earlier versions tutorial but however I am looking forward to work with current version. I tried to put older version like spring boot starter parent 2.4.8 with spring cloud dependencies 2020.0.3 but I am getting same error for openfeign class files.
Here is my code.
My application class file.
import org.springframework.cloud.openfeign.EnableFeignClients;
import org.springframework.cloud.openfeign.FeignClient;
#Configuration
#EnableFeignClients
#EnableDiscoveryClient
public class HelloWorldClientConfig {
#Autowired
private TheClient theClient;
#FeignClient(name = "HelloWorld")
interface TheClient {
#RequestMapping(path = "/helloworld", method = RequestMethod.GET)
#ResponseBody
String helloWorld();
}
public String HelloWorld() {
return theClient.helloWorld();
}
}
Here is my pom.xml file.

<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-data-jpa</artifactId>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>mysql</groupId>
<artifactId>mysql-connector-java</artifactId>
</dependency>
When you add the jpa dependency to your project it will try to wire a dataSource bean. You will need to provide adequate properties for this bean to be configured or your project startup will fail.
Your properties file should look something like this:
spring.datasource.url=jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/yourDBname
spring.datasource.username=root
spring.datasource.password=pass
spring.datasource.driver-class-name=com.mysql.cj.jdbc.Driver
spring.jpa.database-platform=org.hibernate.dialect.MySQL5InnoDBDialect
Mind that this db should exist in your MySQL instance.

Spring Security Authorization Server (experimental) - Sample projects, from Gradle to Maven (Dependencies)

As recommended here I now want to try the sample projects given in the experimental Authorization Server project.
I use Maven, don't know much about Gradle. I assume, that the samples folder is independent of any other artifact in the Authorization Server project?
I created via start.spring.io the 3 projects, added the missing dependencies manually, and the pom.xml look like this:

Are these pom.xml correct? Is anything missing, are the versions OK to use, etc.?
I want to change my webservice (Spring Boot, REST controllers) from Basic Auth to OAuth2. My webservice is build with Spring Boot 2.5.3 and OpenJDK 15 (might change to 16) and Maven. That's why I use the latest versions in the pom.xml. But sample projects don't specify versions or use older version, that's why I don't know what versions are OK to use.
Is auth-server necessary or can it be replaced with 127.0.0.1?
AS
return new ProviderSettings().issuer("http://auth-server:9000")
->
return new ProviderSettings().issuer("http://127.0.0.1:9000")
RS
issuer-uri: http://auth-server:9000

Client
issuer-uri: http://auth-server:9000
->
issuer-uri: http://127.0.0.1:9000
Also, at https://github.com/spring-projects-experimental/spring-authorization-server/tree/main/samples/boot/oauth2-integration there are 4 projects.
The README says
Run Authorization Server
Run Resource Server
Run Client
what for is the project authorizationserver-custom-consent-page ?
I'm asking about the versions I use, latest in fact, because for example I need OpenJDK 15 as I'm using """ all over the place in my webservice project (which will be the Resource Server in context of OAuth2). I cannot therefore switch to versions like Java 8 or so, as stated here:
Prerequisites
Git and the JDK8 build.
Be sure that your JAVA_HOME environment variable points to the jdk1.8.0 folder extracted from the JDK download.
I'm not sure if my problems are related to newer versions of dependencies I use.
Meanwhile, with Maven all 3 projects compile and start, but I'm stuck at the login page. After giving the username and password, it remains on the login page. It seems to accept the user credentials, but loads the login page again. If I misspell the username or password, it complains bad credentials. This is with samples from the downloaded sources of 0.1.2.
It is not stated why auth-server has to be used, and therefore I did the replacements described earlier.
What value will be replaced for registrationId in redirect-uri: "http://127.0.0.1:8080/login/oauth2/code/{registrationId}" ?

AuthorizationServerEndpointsConfiguration required a bean of type 'java.util.List' that could not be found

EDIT-UPDATE:
I've created a brand new project following this tutorial and I've noticed that, after configuring the pom, the problem is if I add
#EnableAuthorizationServer
#EnableResourceServer
annotations for the Application class.
I am new to Spring Boot and I've created a simple working application with persistence, and now I'm trying to add spring security jwt but it's not working.
Here is my project structure:
Since there would be too much code, here you can find player class code, playersapplication, playerserviceDB and playerscontroller.
I've followed different answers here, but I couldn't fin a solution. I can't get where is the list it is complaining about when showing me this error:
***************************

Description:

That's how I solved it.

How to verify a Spring feature/Bug fix is available in the Spring boot version which i am using?

I am working on a spring batch program to process data from sql and write to an xml. I used staxEventItemWriter to do that. But due to this issue https://jira.spring.io/browse/BATCH-1377 i am not able to fix the namespace issue. When we look at comments on this Jira card it says its fixed in 2010. But its not available in the latest spring boot versions which i am using. i tried with the patch class described in the Jira card its working fine for me.

How to verify a Spring feature/Bug fix is available in the Spring boot version which i am using?
You are using Spring Boot 2.0.4.RELEASE. This will bring Spring Batch version 4.0.1.RELEASE. You can find more details about dependencies using the Spring Boot Initializr REST API.
The issue BATCH-1377 is marked as resolved in version 2.1.0.RC1 and is also available in 4.0.1.RELEASE.
But its not available in the latest spring boot versions which i am using. i tried with the patch class described in the Jira card its working fine for me.
The patch suggested by the contributor uses an additional property rootTagNamePrefix but this was modified as per this comment to use the naming convention {uri}prefix:root in order to be consistent with Spring WS. The issue was fixed here: https://github.com/spring-projects/spring-batch/commit/f56ee747296961917caa38fa9e14785dafc0b18b
So in your case, you need to use this naming convention if you want to add a namespace to the root tag. See example here: https://github.com/spring-projects/spring-batch/blob/f56ee747296961917caa38fa9e14785dafc0b18b/spring-batch-infrastructure/src/test/java/org/springframework/batch/item/xml/StaxEventItemWriterTests.java#L287
