Trouble with synchronisation errors / conflicts in Outlook - outlook

We have an addin that saves additional data back into the email which is causing conflicts when office 365 processes the email and 'returns' the sent copy back to the mailbox.
We have identified that saving the information back to the email after exchange has received a copy to process the message is what causes the issue but we don't know how to solve this. Does anyone have any advice how to go about modifying the UserProperties values without causing conflicts?

Do not save the message twice - set the data before it is saved for the very first time. Or keep your custom data elsewhere - associated (hidden) content table is the standard location.

It is not possible to avoid adding custom data to items in Outlook. But the best what you can do is to avoid weak places that could cause such issues.

Power Automate: Send eMail mit Sharepoint attachement

I have a problem creating a flow. All files for the flow are in a sharepoint. In an Excel list, I call up various information such as name, surname, e-mail and also the file name of the e-mail attachment. The e-mail attachment is also stored on the Sharepoint in a different underlying folder. How do I include the attachment in the flow?
The whole flow works fine. However, when I let the attach file be selected dynamically like,
the flow runs into an error:
Without a dynamic attachment (hard coded) it runs through without error:
Here the eMail result - hard coded attachement:
Any idea how to select the attachment dynamicaly?
Thank you very much for your help.
Kind regards
Andi
You'll want to use this specific action ...
... there are two and the one I have shown is the one you'll need to use.

ms crm 2015 - set id of entities from jscript onsave

I need to sync entities from Ms Dynamics Crm 2015 - On Premise to my 3rd party application, for this I have set a JavaScript function on the OnSave event of the Entites( eg. account) I can access all of the attributes and send them to my webservice, but the Id (GuId) of the entity!
how can I access the Id (or set it manually) on this event?!
Xrm.Page.getAttribute("accountid") or Xrm.Page.getAttribute("id") both return null, so I can not setValue using them.
Also Xrm.Page.data.entity.getId() returns "" which is probably logical, since Object has not been inserted in the db yet, this is the reason which makes inserting a runtime generated guid for the entety seems doable !
P.S.
I know I can do same thing with plugins, which I have gone through, but the problem there is that when I register my plugin for Update message it gets called a lot of times, (mostly when it has been set for invoice), this is the reason that made me go with the JScript, since the OnSave Event seems more logical than the Update Message of the plugin
As you already found out, records which have not yet been saved have no ID. That's by design (and obvious).
Also, IDs being PKs in the database, they are handled by the system and cannot be touched or hand-crafted.
Your best bet to keep a similar behavior would be a Post-Operation Create plugin living outside the sandbox (Isolation mode: None).
Another good option would be to pull data instead of pushing it: the 3rd party application can periodically fetch new records through any of the exposed APIs (REST, SOAP, SDK ... there are many options).

What actions in Outlook would cause PR_LAST_MODIFIER_NAME or PR_LAST_MODIFICATION_TIME to be modified?

I am testifying soon as to data I gathered using MFCMAPI in which I determined that the PR_LAST_MODIFICATION_TIME did not match the PR_CREATION_TIME or PR_MESSAGE_DELIVERY_TIME of the message.
What actions in Outlook would cause PR_LAST_MODIFIER_NAME or PR_LAST_MODIFICATION_TIME to be modified? Simply reading, marking the message as unread, and viewing the attachments does not modify these properties in my lab tests.
I am trying to determine what other actions performed by the user or on behalf of the user could cause the PR_LAST_MODIFIER_NAME to no longer list the sender and PR_LAST_MODIFICATION_TIME no longer match Delivery/Creation time.
I had the opportunity many months ago to talk to developer on the MFCMAPI project from Microsoft and I am kicking myself in the gut for not writing down his name.
Any help is appreciated.
Do you mean Steve Griffin?
I am not him, but I think I can easily answer your question - every time IMessage::SaveChanges is called, PR_LAST_MODIFICATION_TIME will be reset.

Sync mailchimp campaign click and open with some other database

I am working on mailchimp integration.
I need to pull campaign stats (opens and clicks) and put it in my local database.
Using mailchimp api i am getting the list of all the users with their action taken.
But my issue is how to keep data sync at all time.
Is there any way to skip that data from mailchimp api that i had synced already.
The problem is the entire data set can change between calls and there is no 'since' parameter... The only way to get an updated picture is to query all records and update....
Keeping stat "data synced at all times" really would just depend on your solution (have it query for updates when you/your users access that section...)
You could expidite the update process by keeping track of previous calls/updates with the timestamp (keep track of the timestamp and only update/add records that are newer than the last sync... )
As I said, there is currently no "since" command for the campaignEmailStatsAIMAll method (and no direct equivelent in the export API...)
A 'since' parameter would actually be a good feature... So if coding your own solution to track updates via the timestamp is undesirable, you may want to ask the question in the google group or post a feature request in the google code project:

EDIT: I just opened the feature request as it may solve a similar issue for an upcomming project:

TFS 2010 Email Alerts

I found this post, which seems to be an exact duplicate, but I can't figure out how to get the answer to work for me so I'm posting again...
TFS2010: Set up an alert that will email a member in the team when a work item is assigned to them
I want anyone (not everyone) using TFS to receive an email when they are assigned an item or when an item assigned to them changes. So, when the alert happens, the person who is currently assigned the item will receive an email.
I know I can set up this on a per-person basis with Alerts Explorer, but I can't figure out how to do this for everyone at once.
I looked at https://tfsalerts.codeplex.com/, but it looks like it's used to send alerts to groups of people...I only want to send the alert to a single relevant person (the equivalent of #Me). If this tool can do that, I'm not sure how to make it do so.
what you want to do is write a TFS Server Plugin. This plugin will fire whenever a certain event occurs. In your case, you will want to catch the WorkItemChangedEvent. In the notification, you will find old and new values of each field. By checking whether the assigned to field changed, you will know whether the WI has been reassigned.
Once you determined that the WI has been reassigned, you can take the New Value, and go to Active Directory (assuming you're using it), and get the email address. Finally, send a message.
For a code example of writing a robust server plugin (that happens to target the WorkItemChangedEvent, check out this blog post: How to Write a Robust TFS Server Plugin
