CCRC command for rmstream - cleartool

Cleartool has a command cleartool rmstream to delete a specific stream. But in CCRC there is no corresponding command. From GUI also, there is no option to delete the stream. Anyone has any solution to this? Views can be deleted.
Similarly, for cleartool rmbranch is there any alternative command in CCRC?
Why complete command support is not provided in CCRC, people are not supposed to use CCRC??

From what I can see, this does not seem supported (not from a CTE ClearTeam Explorer even 9.x), so not from IBM Rational ClearCase Web (CCWeb) or IBM Rational ClearCase Remote Client (CCRC)
That means an admin has to delete the stream on the IBM Rational Web Platform (RWP) server side.
Why complete command support is not provided in CCRC, people are not supposed to use CCRC??
Because CCRC is meant to be used by clients, and rmstream/rmbranch are consider "administrative" commands, better done on the server side by admins.

MMASetup Command Line Parameters for SCOM

I'm installing the latest MMASetup-AMD64.exe and want to hook up to Log Analytics AND SCOM. But, I'm having trouble finding the command line parameters for SCOM. Does anybody know them? The Log Analytics ones are well documented and are here:

OPINSIGHTS_WORKSPACE_ID="1234"
OPINSIGHTS_WORKSPACE_KEY="5678"
I need the equivalent parameters for management group name and management server. Effectively completing these boxes but via the command line.

I believe parameters for management group, secure port, etc. are not available with MMASetup-AMD64.exe. Here are the supported command line options with it. So may be, if its feasible in your environment and setup, try to use MOMAgent.msi to install agent manually or to deploy System Center Operations Manager agents from the command line or by using the Setup Wizard. The parameters like MANAGEMENT_GROUP, SECURE_PORT, etc. are all explained along with examples in this document. For more information, please refer it.

OEM 13C Log File Monitoring

I have installed OEM 13c and deployed a couple of agents and want to test out the Log File Monitoring utility. I have enabled it and added a log file to monitor.
When I go and test it out, it does not show any alerts when they are put into the Log File. On the agent server, I have tailed the file and see the messages coming into the log file.
Does anyone have experience adding log files to OEM? I could have configured it wrong. Or is there any troubleshooting steps that I can follow to see if the server is even contacting the agent for reading the log file. Status of the agent is good with no incidents.
Without access to the system, it would be difficult to tell you the exact cause of this issue. However, I can list a few potential causes of this issue that I have experienced personally:
Permissions. The Oracle Enterprise Manager Agent is very convoluted when it comes to system permissions within a remote server. The agent can be owned and run as any number of users but during metric evaluation, may also need sudo or pam-authentication permissions to access certain entities on the server. Depending on the authentication profiles on that server, this could be the cause of your issue. There are ways to grant the agent access through the PAM stack if that is necessary.
Syntax. The wildcard syntax in the OEM GUI can be a little confusing as well. I would play with the wildcard elements a bit on the "String" component to ensure that it isn't as simple as adding wildcards to the beginning and end of the string. Without diving into the binaries of the agent plugins, it is difficult to assess exactly how the agent is evaluating this particular metric
One suggestion I would have is to go through the agent commands. There are specific commands you can run to manually force an agent to evaluate a particular metric for a particular target. This can allow you to manually trigger the metric collection locally on the server and evaluate what exactly is being performed at the agent level.
On the system I was running (12c) the command was as follows:
emctl control agent runCollection <hostname>:host host_storage

How a ClearCase trigger can be called to validate a file being checked in?

I am new to ClearCase trigger. My requirements include the following point:
When user is trying to check in a file using CCRC I need to validate the code being checked in using a PMD tool.
So I need to write a trigger which calls this PMD tool (accessble by CC server) and validate the code being checked in and if code is fine, then I can proceed. Otherwise it should throw error.
Also I need to know how triggers are installed.
Since CC server is not on my local and currently in use by other team mates, I think I need to get it on local to test this. Otherwise it will give issue to others if I test it directly there.
How would you address those points?
A good source for "hooks" (called trggier) for CCRC is the IBM article "Writing triggers for the ClearCase Remote Client" (for CCRC 7.x, which is different from ClearTeam explorer 8.x)
The main issue is that you cannot use clearprompt (which is a full clearcase command, not available with a CCRC client).

DBMS_Scheduler get/put file alternative

I have a side project I'm working on currently that requires me to copy over a .csv file from a remote FTP and save it locally. I figured I would use DBMS_SCHEDULER.GET_FILE but I do not have permission. When I asked my manager, he said that I wont be able to get privileges to do this and should look up other ways.
After researching for a couple of days I keep coming back to DBMS_SCHEDULER, am I out of luck or are my searching skills terrible.

I'm not certain you'd want to use DBMS_SCHEDULER for this; from what I understand from the documentation (never used this myself) the FTP site would have to be completely open to all; there is a parameter destination_permissions, but it's only "Reserved for future use", i.e. there's no way of specifying any permissions at the moment.
If I'm right with this then I agree with your manager, though not necessarily for the same reasons (it seems like you'll never get permission to use DBMS_SCHEDULER which I hope is incorrect).
There are other methods of doing this:
UTL_TCP; this is simply a method of interacting over a TCP/IP protocol. Oracle Base has an article, which includes a FTP package based on UTL_TCP and instructions how to use it. This also requires the use of the UTL_FILE package, which can write OS files.
UTL_HTTP; I'm 99% certain it's possible to connect to an FTP using this; it's certainly possible to connect to a SFTP/any server. It'll require a little more work but it would be worth it in the longer run. It would also require the use of UTL_FILE.
A Java stored procedure to FTP directly; this is probably the best approach; create one using one of the many Java FTP libraries.
A Java stored procedure to call call OS commands; this is easiest method but the least extensible. Oracle released a white paper on calling OS commands from within PL/SQL back in 2008 but there's plenty of other stuff out there (including Oracle Base again)
Lastly, you could question whether this is actually what you want to do...
What scheduler do you use? Does it have event driven scheduling? If so there's no need to FTP from within Oracle; use UTL_FILE to write a file to the OS and then OS commands from there.
Was the other file originally in a database? If that's the case you don't need to extract it. You could use DBMS_FILE_TRANSFER to collect it straight from the database or even create a JDBC connection or (more simply) a database link to SELECT the data directly.

Desktop SPARQL client for Jena (TDB)?

I'm working on an app that uses Jena for storage (with the TDB backend). I'm looking for something like the equivalent of Squirrel, that lets me see what's being stored, run queries etc. This seems like an obvious thing to need, but my (perhaps badly phrased) google queries aren't turning up anything promising.
Any suggestions, please? I'm on XP. Even a command line tool would be helpful.
Take a look at my Store Manager tool which is part of the dotNetRDF Toolkit which I develop as part of the wider dotNetRDF project I maintain.
It provides a fairly basic GUI through which you can connect to various Triple Stores including TDB provided that you expose your dataset via Joseki/Fuseki. You need to have .Net 3.5 installed to run the apps in the toolkit.
If you don't already expose your TDB dataset via HTTP try using Fuseki as it is ridiculously easy to use and can be run just on your local machine when necessary to make your TDB store available via HTTP for use with my tool e.g.
java -jar fuseki-0.1.0-server.jar --update --loc data /dataset
Please see the Fuseki wiki for more information on running Fuseki and the various options. In the above example Fuseki is run with SPARQL Update enabled (the --update flag), using the TDB dataset located in the directory data (the --loc data argument) and with a base URI of /dataset for the data.
Once running you can use my tool to connect to a Fuseki server by going to File > New Generic Store Manager, selecting the "Fuseki" tab from the dialog that appears, entering the URI http://localhost:3030/dataset/data and then clicking "Connect to Fuseki".
