When trying to edit a configurable product ... lost on this error... how to fix it - magento

Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in /home/magento2/www/vendor/magento/module-configurable-product/Model/Product/Type/VariationMatrix.php on line 43

Error
Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in vendor/magento/module-configurable-product/Model/Product/Type/VariationMatrix.php on line 43
Process
We were importing a csv with column "configurable_variations" and values = "sku=costdai-ama-dail-p10-moon-stone-sp0000,sphere=0.00,contact_lens_color_name=Moon Stone|
sku=costdai-ama-dail-p10-moon-stone-sn0050,sphere=-0.50,contact_lens_color_name=Moon Stone"
Solution and Reason
The reason of above error is the child product (costdai-ama-dail-p10-moon-stone-sp0000) does not have values assigned for attribute "contact_lens_color_name=Moon Stone"
So if we set the values to child product and try reimporting again. The parent product will be created with 2 child products assigned.
We can see the child products on admin when we edit the parent product, under Configurations -> Current Variations

I met a error warning when run regression model for a panel using plm package

I have a panel for 27 years, but met this warning when I run a regression.
panel data of global suicide rate with temperature
I use the following codes:
library(plm)

data2 <- cbind(mydata, dummy(mydata$year, sep ="_"))
suicide_fe <- plm(suiciderate ~ dmt, data2, index = c("country", "year"),
model= "within")
summary(suicide_fe)
But I got this error:

Getting error when Import products csv in Magmi to add products in magento 1.9

Here is the error I am getting when I choose the "Create new item and Update existing ones" and run import
SKU RDDBDZE152 - 1 SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1366 Incorrect string value: '\x92ll we...' for column 'value' at row 1 -
SKU RDDBDZE152 - 2 SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1366 Incorrect string value: '\x92ll we...' for column 'value' at row 1 - ERROR ON RECORD #1
What this error mean ?
Well, found the reason behind this error. There was a special character in product description. Removed the special character and problem solved.

Using handles to nested function for GUI callbacks in Octave

I am trying to develop a GUI in Octave (4.0.1, using the GUI version) with the code as follows:
Main GUI function
Function to create figure & various uicontrol
Callback function for uicontrol #1
Callback function for uicontrol #2
Callback function for uicontrol #3
etc...
Each function is delimited by function & end. The first callback I tried to write looks like this: the button is defined in the "graphical creation" function as:
gui.select_btn = uicontrol('Style','pushbutton','String','Select log file ...',...
'Units','normalized','Position',[0.01 0.52 0.25 0.47],...
'BackgroundColor',get(gui.Window,'Color'),'Parent',gui.file_panel,...
'Enable','on','Callback',{#browse_log_file,gui});
and the callback for it is defined in the callback function later as:
function browse_log_file(src,data,gui)
% Called when user presses the "Select log file ..." button
[fname, pname] = uigetfile({'*.log'},'Select log file');
set(gui.log_file_edit,'String',[pname,fname]);
end
whi gui being a struct defined in the main GUI function by calling the "graphical creation" function & accessible by all nested functions.
However, when I try to run the code, I get the following error message:
error: handles to nested functions are not yet supported
error: called from
GUI_analyser>create_interface at line 71 column 20

pointing to the line with {#browse_log_file,gui}.
Any suggestions on how to work round this problem?

Migration to CRM 2016: Unable to get property 'getPageData' of undefined or null reference

After migration from CRM 2013 to CRM 2016 (On Premise), we have error messages in the browser like:
Unable to get property 'getPageData' of undefined or null reference
Unable to get property 'className' of undefined or null reference
Unable to get property 'firstChild' of undefined or null reference
The error happens in components of CRM. Any idea, what the reason could be?

When do errors occur?
I' v had similar error [1] on 8.2.2.112 when pressing Next Stage on Business Process Flow. Much effort was put into debugging so wanted to document it somwhere.
Rollup field
The error was caused by rollup fields that provides SUM for Money fields. The HTML generated by CRM and javascript function didn't match.
Guilty line is within /_static/form/formcontrols.js called on line 28871:
XUI.Html.DomUtils.GetFirstChild(XUI.Html.DomUtils.GetFirstChild(XUI.Html.DomUtils.GetFirstChild(XUI.Html.DomUtils.GetFirstChild(XUI.Html.DomUtils.GetFirstChild(XUI.Html.DomUtils.GetNextSibling(this.get_controlValue().parentNode)))))).innerHTML = CrmEncodeDecode.CrmHtmlDecode((this.$5_1.$3_2).get_currencySymbol());
This one returns null and it therefore spits error: XUI.Html.DomUtils.GetNextSibling(this.get_controlValue().parentNode
Solution
FIX 1: Enable "Use legacy form rendering" under System Settings
OR Fix 2: Remove Currency rollup fields from form.
OR Fix 3: Create non-rollup fields that get calculated with workflow or plugin.
OR Fix 4: You may do some jQuery stuff and add some empty siblings which it -
expects. Except it may show duplicate currency symbol (at least for EUR currency) - one as prefix the other one as suffix.
OR Fix 5: Most undesirable way: patch that .js yourself if you're on-premises.
Replace line 28871:
XUI.Html.DomUtils.GetFirstChild(XUI.Html.DomUtils.GetFirstChild(XUI.Html.DomUtils.GetFirstChild(XUI.Html.DomUtils.GetFirstChild(XUI.Html.DomUtils.GetFirstChild(XUI.Html.DomUtils.GetNextSibling(this.get_controlValue().parentNode)))))).innerHTML = CrmEncodeDecode.CrmHtmlDecode((this.$5_1.$3_2).get_currencySymbol());
With:
if (XUI.Html.DomUtils.GetNextSibling(this.get_controlValue().parentNode) !== null) {
XUI.Html.DomUtils.GetFirstChild(XUI.Html.DomUtils.GetFirstChild(XUI.Html.DomUtils.GetFirstChild(XUI.Html.DomUtils.GetFirstChild(XUI.Html.DomUtils.GetFirstChild(XUI.Html.DomUtils.GetNextSibling(this.get_controlValue().parentNode)))))).innerHTML = CrmEncodeDecode.CrmHtmlDecode((this.$5_1.$3_2).get_currencySymbol());
}

Thanks to Andrii!
Removing a composite control in the header did the trick.
It seems to be a bug in CRM 2016, but our customers can live without this information in the header. All fine!
Kind regards,

SparkR: "Cannot resolve column name..." when adding a new column to Spark data frame

I am trying to add some computed columns to a SparkR data frame, as follows:
Orders <- withColumn(Orders, "Ready.minus.In.mins",
(unix_timestamp(Orders$ReadyTime) - unix_timestamp(Orders$InTime)) / 60)
Orders <- withColumn(Orders, "Out.minus.In.mins",
(unix_timestamp(Orders$OutTime) - unix_timestamp(Orders$InTime)) / 60)
The first command executes ok, and head(Orders) reveals the new column. The second command throws the error:

Do I need to do something to the data frame after adding the new column before it will accept another one?
From the link, just use backsticks, when accessing the column, e.g.:
From using
df['Fields.fields1']
or something, use:
df['`Fields.fields1`']
Found it here: spark-issues mailing list archives
SparkR isn't entirely happy with "." in a column name.
