Pseudocode Flowchart - pseudocode

So for my summer task for A Level Computer Science before starting Year 12, I have been given a task where I have to convert a flowchart into pseudocode.

So far I have got this:

I think you've got the general idea. Just a couple of points:
You never set skin_condition prior to using it.
You're asking for inputs before they're required in the flowchart (e.g. respiratory_status). Ask the question when you get to that point in the chart.

Ruby is there a way to stop the user from calling a function/procedure through case before they have accessed a different function/procedure?

I have a text file that I want to open first for reading or writing, but want the user to manually enter the text_file name (which opens the file for reading) first like so:

From this unfinished code below, selecting 1 would go to the above procedure. I want the user to select 1 first, and if they choose 2 without having gone through read_in_albums they just get some sort of message like "no file selected and sent back to menu screen.

The only thing I can think of is something like

and have it return true from read_in_albums.
which I don't want to do as it just goes through read_in_albums again, when I only want it to do that if the user pressed 1.
All of your application's functionality depends on whether the album data has been read. You are no doubt storing this data as an object in memory referenced by some variable.
$album_data = File.read 'album.txt'
You can test whether this data is present in order to determine whether the file data has been read:

There is no need for a separate flag. The mere presence of the data in memory serves as a flag already.
You could either set a flag when option 1 was selcted

Or just test if your file name is a valid string.

Got Error "Command Get label of interval: not available for current selection" when trying to edit selections with certain labels

I was trying to replace certain selections of sounds with silences, but before I could get into the essential part, the "Get label from interval" command failed before I was able to check whether I'd obtained the correct output.

I'd thought it was some problems with the toy audio I played with, so I switched to another one but strangely enough, every time I always got stuck with the third interval in the sequence. Screenshot available here:

I'd suspected that it was because of my editing that some shifts occurred in the TextGrid-- however, since I only supplanted the sounds with silences that were of the same length, there should not be impacts on sounds or TextGrids afterwards. However, since I never had the chance to output some playable audio results, all I inferred above could not be corroborated by solid truth.

Text outputs as multiple separate lines instead of one paragraph with linebreaks

I have a bot that writes my message to a webpage. I want the message to be sent as one paragraph, but with the lines separated by a linebreak. However, when I actually run the code, the bot inputs and enters each line separately, instead of as one paragraph
I've tried messing with the linebreak formatting and string formatting, but the issue persists

Scan/Match incorrect input error messages

I am trying to count the correct inputs from the user. An input looks like:

The tag ex=1 and the word test have to be connected and in this particular order to count as correct. In case of an invalid input, I want to send the user an error message that explains the error.
I tried to do it as written below:

I believe it can be written in a better way as the way I wrote, I guess, is prone to errors. How can I make sure that all the errors will be found and shown to the user?
You might use negative lookarounds:

We scan the string for either <ex=1> not followed by test or vice versa. Also, we grab up to 4 characters that violate the rule for the more descriptive message.

Pinescript duplicate alerts

I have created a very basic script in pinescript.

The problem is that I get a lot of duplicate alerts. I want to edit this script so that I only get a 'Buy' alert when the previous alert was a 'Sell' alert and visa versa. It seems like such a simple problem, but I have a hard time finding good sources to learn pinescript. So, any help would be appreciated. :)
One way to solve duplicate alters within the candle is by using "Once Per Bar Close" alert. But for alternative alerts (Buy - Sell) you have to code it with different logic.
I Suggest to use Version 3 (version shown above the study line) than version 1 and 2 and you can accomplish the result by using this logic:

You'll have to do it this way

This is a very basic form of it but it works.
You were getting duplicate alerts because the conditions were fulfulling more often. But with strategy.entry(), this won't happen
When the sell is triggered, as per paper trading, the quantity sold will be double (one to cut the long position and one to create a short position)
PS :You will have to add code to create alerts and enter this not in study() but strategy()
The simplest solution to this problem is to use the built-in crossover and crossunder functions.
They consider the entire series of in-this-case close values, only returning true the moment they cross rather than every single time a close is lower than the close two candles ago.

It's important to note why I have changed to the indices to 1 and 3 with an offset of -1 in the plotchar function. This will give the exact same signals as 0 and 2 with no offset.
The difference is that you will only see the character print on the chart when the candle actually closes rather than watch it flicker on and off the chart as the close price of the incomplete candle moves.
