Front end reload on 'Build Project' IntellIJ using SpringBoot devtools - spring-boot

In IntellIJ not long ago I was able to make changes to my html/thymeleaf files and hit 'Build Project' and Spring Boot didn't have to restart the entire app. It would showcase the changes in my web browser (Firefox, Chrome). I have researched and tried a variety of changes and can't seem to find the issue/error to get me back to faster, efficient frontend productivity.

It's only a setting inside of IntelliJ Idea. You can see here what you need to set, and to have in a build.gradle or pom file.

How to hide this extra menu in IntelliJ Idea which contains the tasks that gradle ran?

When I run some microservices, some of them have an additional menu in the RUN menu, which contains the tasks which was run.
Why do some services (projects) have this menu and some don't? How to hide this menu?
Gradle build tool is used everywhere.
I manage to fix this. It seems that it depends from how App is started from Intellij Idea.
If it is with Run/Debug Configurations - > Applications it shows the menu. When I changed the configuration to Spring Boot application it is not showing anymore..

Intellij Idea hides my spring cloud contracts under test/resources

I have written my first spring-cloud-contract using Intellij Idea 2018.2. Everything works fine, but I cannot edit the contract from within Idea because it hides the complete src/test/resources/contracts folder in the project view. So I have to individually open each contract vi the file -> open... menu.
Can anybody tell me how I can access my contract files in Idea from the project view?
I have the same problem with maven. It enough to refresh the project and the folder will be added to the classpath

IntelliJ IDEA LiveReload not working when external changes

Is it possible to enable LiveReload of static files in IntelliJ IDEA community which are changed from external tool like WebStorm?
Context:
I use IntelliJ to run Spring web app with frontend static files and WebStorm to modify them. My issue is that every time I make change in WebStorm, I have to focus to IntelliJ window and only then I'm able to see these changes in browser.

Can I debug gwt component directly in intellij IDEA

I am currently working with IntelliJ IDEA and I try to debug gwt components directly in the IDE.
I know I can use Chrome DevTools to debug, but it's always a pain, when the variables names change and it takes quite a long time to debug.
I thing I have seen somewhere the fact that you can directly debug your component in IntelliJ but I am not sure where I have seen that.
I am in superdevmode but when I add a breakpoint in my java class in IntelliJ it does not get validated and does not stop in IntelliJ. It only works in Chrome.
Here is my gwt configuration
Thanks a lot.

It sure does work from within IntelliJ.
One thing I noted in your screenshot : Set a checkbox with "with JavaScript debugger".
That is the only thing I see different with my setup, in which breakpoints work in IntelliJ, and in the browser.

Unable to download Bluemix starter code

I have created multiple applications from boilerplate templates and for some reason, it is no longer possible to download the Starter Code. I open the application panel, select Start Coding in the left pane, then select Eclipse Tools for Bluemix. Further down, as expected, there is a "Download Starter Code" button, but it links back to bluemix.net instead of to a code archive file. Has anyone seen this? I have deleted / re-created the apps many times, but it never produces an archive. I have seen several posts here on Starter Code, but none specifically with this issue.
In some cases this behaviour is related to the browser language setting. Try setting it to English (if you use another language) and check if the download button url now points to the correct zip.
Another possible workaround is to instantiate one of the boilerplates and then click on the Add Git button at the top right hand of the screen when viewing the overview of the running app. Using the Add Git button on a boilerplate (or runtime) instantiated app you can see the sample code in DevOps Service. You can download it from there or you could git clone the repository and get the code that way.
Alternatively please take a look at the IBM Bluemix repo on GitHub.
you can do same by three ways you can also clone git repository of starter code or you can download commandline interface and fallow instruction
for me while developing node application download eclipse archive worked fine
