I have a client who wants their barcode to look like this:
it currently looks like this:
^FX^A0N,40,30^BY1^BCN,90,Y,N,N,D
^FD5057913162382^FS
i have tried to change the type of barcode however this makes the barcode unreadable.
^A0N,40,30^BY3^B9N,90,Y,N,Y
^FD5057913162382^FS
Does anyone have an idea on how to achieve a barcode that looks like (img 1)?
Your first example prints a Code 128 barcode using the ^BC command and your second example prints a UPC-E barcode using the ^B9 command.
The image at the top, however, shows an EAN-13 barcode. This means that you should use the ^BE command.
I tried this on my SATO CLNX printer (running a ZPL emulator)
^XA
^FO100,100^BY3
^BEN,100,Y,N
^FD5057913162382^FS
^XZ
This is the printout:

I am trying to print a barcode (code 39) to a label (2" x .75") on a Zebra ZT610 (600 DPI) printer, but none of our 3 barcode scanners will decode the barcode. We are encoding a 14-character alphanumeric value. I created the label using ZebraDesigner, and passed the ZPL to the printer using Zebra Setup Utilities. I also use Labelary to check the label, and change parameter values.
I have tried every conceivable combination of the ^BY and ^B3 commands I can think of, that would fit on the label, including shortening the data for testing (encode only 8 characters). Here is the latest ZPL with a barcode that should be well within the label's printable area, but scanners will not read it:

Unreadable label image:
We also have an old Zebra R110Xi4 (203 DPI) printer that we also print code 39 barcodes to, on the same labels. The barcodes on these labels are perfectly readable by the scanners. This is the ZPL for it:
^XA~JSN^LT0^MNM^MTT^PON^PMN^LH0,0^JMA^PR8,8~SD30^JUS^LRN^CI0^XZ
^XA^MMT^LL0102^PW379^LS0^XZ

Are there any suggestions as to what I might try next?
Thank you!
title might be a bit weirdly formulated, so let me try to explain:
I use ZebraDesigner 3 Essentials in order to make a label. I then "print to file", which leaves me with a .prn containing code. I also tried the answer from this question:
How to get ZPL code from a ZebraDesigner label?
, leaving me with a .zpl file, which has the same content as the .prn file.
That content is similiar to zpl, but it seemingly is not the same. This is the result of a simple label, where "Text" is in the middle of it:
CT~~CD,~CC^~CT~

^PQ1,0,1,Y^XZ
The second line from the button upwards is the problem, I believe. Around there is where, normally, "Text" would be standing, however, now there's just gibberish.
I absolutly need this to be saved correctly, as I later need to access it via python. Please help me by explaining why this happens, and / or how I can fix this.
You need to use a font that is built into the printer. If you set the font to Zebra 0 you get something like:
CT~~CD,~CC^~CT~

I'm using ZDesigner to create my label and generate the zpl code. My label have several text boxes, a barcode, and a logo image.
I used the generated code on this webpage -> http://labelary.com/viewer.html, and the output was fine.
When I send the same zpl code to the printer (GC420D, installed as generic/text only) the logo image it's not printed.
ZDesigner uses the command ^GFA to send the image to the printer, I tried with diferent extensions (.pgn, .jpg and .bmp) and the results is always the same, no logo.
Any ideas why?

here is my answer a little late but it may be useful for someone. I had a problem when performing a print service for an android application, when pasting the zpl code into the text editor I was not noticing that for some reason some blank spaces were being added, I realized until I copied the code and I viewed it here http://labelary.com/viewer.html
after that I remove the blank spaces and the image could be displayed
zpl code with blank spaces
We have a Zebra ZT410 RFID printer. In order to print a graphical drawing on the tag which contains the unique TAG_ID, we need to
read current tag's TAG_ID from printer
generate a visual drawing by using the TAG_ID value
print the generated drawing as usual
So, how can we read the current (the one will be printed on the next print command) tag's TAG_ID?
Additional info
We successfully used the following ZPL code described in the manual, on page 396 in order to make the printer read the TAG_ID and print it on the label:
^XA
^RB96,8,3,3,20,24,38^FS
^FO50,50^A0N,40^FN0^FS
^FN0^RFR,E^FS
^XZ
We have successfully executed this code 3-4 times, then tried something else according to our needs. Then we gave up, and tried to use the same code again and satisfy the results for now, but now we get 3 void void void ... void void labels as we executed exactly the same command.
Also, we tried to run the following ZPL code which is given by the manual, on page 402 in order to get the TAG_ID, but there is nothing returning back from the printer:
^XA
^FO20,120^A0N,60^FN0^FS
^RI0,,5^FS
^HV0,,Tag ID:^FS
^XZ
I used this ZPL code to extract the UID and print in on the label:
^XA~TA000~JSN^LT0^MNW^MTT^PON^PMN^LH0,0^JMA^PR2,2~SD10^JUS^LRN^CI0^RS8^XZ

Using zebra 110Xi4
I encountered another problem, the UID barcode is printed correctly but the output to the screen is for the previews label.
Hope this helps,
Currently I'm creating dhl label using zpl command. I'm new to zpl commands.
I have used BC - zpl command for code 128 barcode. This is my code:
^BCN,,N,N^FD>:2LDE44536+99000900153004^FS
My problem: Above zpl code create barcodes, but when I check this barcode
http://barcode.tec-it.com/
value : 2LDE44536+99000900153004
my barcode bars look different.
Please guide me right format use here for get right barcode.
Thanks in advance
Have you scanned both codes to compare data? Check the manual to be sure, but the >: is specifying subset B (Normal Alpha Numeric). Your + symbol may be getting dropped.
