I am creating a application where people can create custom domain and link their domain to my serer through CNAME record. please have a link on below application, this is something similar i am creating.
https://codecanyon.net/item/belink-ultimate-url-shortener/24354590?s_rank=1
I have created a CNAME record on name.wproutes.com and pointed to target.dblcto.co
https://www.whatsmydns.net/#CNAME/name.wproutes.com
Now if i click on https://name.wproutes.com it should redirect to target.dblcto.co but its redirecting somewhere else.
Now my concern is how can i handle on htaccess or in routes so whenever someone use their custom domain and point to my domain target.dblcto.co , it will redirect to target.dblcto.co and i can write some code here.
I really appreciate your help Thanks.

I have moved a website from heroku to another provider. Lets say its custom domain is www.mysite.org. It was also at mysite.herokuapp.com, although we never really used that domain, Google has indexed some pages there. I want to redirect any requests mysite.herokuapp.com/[EVERYTHING] to www.mysite.org/[EVERYTHING]. The paths are otherwise compatible. I am told Heroku does not allow you to use an .htaccess file. I've deleted the mysite project on Heroku but could create a new one thats a simple php page or something else?
I'm sure this has been asked before, i've looked but find either too little or too much information and none seems to answer my question. Thanks.

I am working in a codeigniter project in wamp server.
My current login page is http://localhost/flowers/login and its working correctly (no issue). The rest of the urls are like this
http://localhost/handycheck/admin/dashboard etc
My issue is i need to change the login url like this
http://localhost/flowers/admin/login
&
http://localhost/flowers/providers/login
Its because I have to maintain login form for multiple users.
How can i make this.
Please help me and thanks in advance who helps me alot..
You can do this by adding custom roue in codeigniter routing configuration as follows go to config/routes and add the following entry in this file
$route['flowers/providers/login'] = 'flowers/login';
$route['flowers/admin/login'] = 'flowers/login';
this will redirect the request to the login in flowers controller and if you need to do custom handling for admins and provider you can get the url segments and do custom handling according to user type
I hope my answer would be useful
I've got a question.
the admin and employee can upload stuff into /public/files/uploads/
and the customers are only allowed to see a part of the files in uploads.
but when I login as customer and visit: /public/files/uploads/
I can open and view every file.
I would like to know how to protect this from customers, like when they try to open /public/files/uploads/ they redirect back to the home view.
This would need some sort of .htaccess but I can't seem to figure out how to get it working.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Try to put an empty index.html file in this folder.
Also, are your normal URLs contain public? If so, you have wrong web server configuration and you should point your web server (Apache, Nginx) to a public directory instead of Laravel project's root folder.
I'm using CloudFlare in my website and it works perfectly. Problem is, I decided to host my static files like JavaScript, CSS, etc. in static.example.com and I don't know how to set up the subdomain.
I already tried adding a CNAME record (static is an alias of example.com) and it didn't work, and as a A record (static points to IPAddress) where IPAddress is the IP address that both www and example.com use.
I'm I doing something wrong? I've waited about an hour for any DNS propagation problems and still doesn't work.
If you have added the subdomain in your CloudFlare DNS settings (settings->DNS settings), then it should start propagating out after a few minutes or so. If you're still having issues with the subdomain, please contact CloudFlare with the domain name so we can look at it.
I had the same issue until I realized I had to click on the greyed out cloud on that row to activate Cloudflare on the subdomain. This is what it currently looks like:
The instructions at the top of the page clearly say you have to do this, but I'm not one of those read the manual types for simple tasks. I guess what would have really got the point across was some sort of notice the very first time I added a subdomain on my account.
Once you've clicked the icon, then the activated proxy will be indicated like this:
Oh well, hope this helps somebody else.
