I'm having trouble receiving a response from my Outlook add-in dialog box because I am unable to authenticate myself with it. This activity also happens with Internet Explorer which brought up the question, does Outlook Desktop use IE when displaying add-ins?

I would like to add a button on outlook and/or MS teams to run a .exe program that I developed with python.
I tried to look online but I didn't find anything.
Can someone knows how to do it or if it is possible?

You can create a VBA macro in Outlook which runs an external executable. And then assign it to the QAT button. See Assign a macro to a button for more information.

When I open my Microsoft Teams site, the "Conversations" tab will always show first. Is there a way to make the "Wiki" or "Files" tab appear first?
This isn't a programming question, but I'll answer it anyway.
The answer is no, and we aren't likely to get to it anytime soon even though it does get asked for. The reason is that if the tab order is dynamic, we have to hit the disk or the network in order to start rendering, which will kill our channel switch time.

Is it possible to develop a custom Backdrop App for Google Chromecast instead of using Google's Backdrop feature? It doesn't support some features and I have some ideas, so want to see if that is possible. Documentation didn't provide me that information. Thanks.
No, that area is not open to developers to change; users can decide on the source of content there (images from various sources, news, etc) but beyond that, there is no access to backdrop for developers.

I wonder if safari extension allows interaction with other apps installed on the Mac.
If not, I am also considering an alternative to run an Apple script to interact with the content of a certain Safari tab. Is it much easier this way?
