On my Word Press website, I have a section on my website where I am displaying the job categories.
My only issue is that I can't seem to create custom links for any of the categories on my site. Like 'http://example.com/find-a-job/?s=search_categories%football'
I was curious if anyone had an idea on how to create custom links for Wordpress forms that auto-fill one of the fields to what I want it to be.
If it means anything, I believe the form is AJAX.
Thanks.

What is the best way to place 2 identical forms on the same page, but use the same form action and fields for each form? How can I keep response messages in the respective form area from which the data was submitted?
I'd have one form in the footer of my site, and one form in a popup on the home page of my site. I'm using a hidden div and Magnific to open the popup containing the same code from the form that is located at the footer. Essentially, both form do the same thing, and utilize the same form action.
I do not have access to the form action, or the code in the form action page.
Currently, the forms existing on the same "page" are no problem, but when I submit an email on one form, the errors and success messages show up on both the popup form as well as in the footer form.
I've read that this may be possible to do with ajax, but for completeness sake, I want to make sure that I'm building that I'm doing what I can with the form html, before moving on to studying ajax for this.
Sadly there is no nice html/liquid solution for this.
The only way is to use cookies in order to save information which form was submitted and show the error message only for that form instead of the two ones.
AJAX is not a good solution because of the Google Recaptch-a when you submit the form more than once, which is a real pain in the a** since there is no way to disable it and the form will fail if you try to submit it with ajax.
The easiest solution is to use cookies, other option is to rely on an APP for this, but it may be an overkill for this.
Forms in Shopify are... how to put it nicely... dumb... basic... not developer friendly or just not made to be tweaked in any sort of way ( excluding the front-end ).
I'm very naive. I am not able to create an external hyperlink on the order confirmation page. (lets say http://google.com)
I've modified the bank transfer module to create a manual payment method, but I am not able to add a simple link on the confirmation page. The screenshot depicts it well.
Also attaching the screenshot of the backend where I input the text. I've tried editing the tpl files, but it doesn't change the actual code on the browser. I have even tried disabling html filter and typing href on the text box itself, again the code just disappears in the browser.
The images will make things very clear.
Thanks.

The solution is simple, like ébewè said, go to advanced settings > Performances, and clear cache or select no from the drop-down menu next to cache.
Then you can just use high school grade html commands in tpl file to wrap the requisite text inside the code. It works!
Thanks ébewè!
I am creating a website that has a huge number of forms that are called from a dynamically created menu. There may be a number of other pages on the site that are basic HTML layouts. I was thinking to use Wordpress as the controller for my site. That way I do not have to replicate the Wordpress layout features. I would need to do the following:
Have Wordpress get the contents of the menu using AJAX which would
return the descriptions and the links to the pages.
On selection of an option from the menu open the page in an iframe.
Is this even possible and, if so, where would I start?
So I would like to be able to add a block to certain CMS pages, which would display links for that page.
I am thinking it will use a common (custom) template, to display the links on each page in the same manner, but I need to be able to set the links in the admin side.
I had initially thought about using a widget. which seems to make sense, and wouldn't be too hard to be able to edit in the admin side and add to a page.
But I am not sure how I could create a widget which allows for the addition of multiple links, tied to that page.
Ideally, I could add a block in the cms layout xml, perhaps check if the url path is correct, and displays the links for that page in a block.
As I write this, I realize I am not sure what the best way to accomplish this would be.
I would rather not have it be editable in the content. But I am not sure how else to make it easy to add links to a page.
Is there some way I could create a module or something where you could choose the page in the admin side, set as many links as you want (with label and URL). and then on that page, the block would load the links into the block template?
Any direction, or even a place to start would be VERY helpful. Thanks!
I need to do a specific task with Ez Publish but I don't have a clue on how to do it.
What I need to do is a list of Websites(Website directory). I will need to add basically two kinds of data:
Website Name
URL of the website
Then, when I click in the website link it will redirect to a page where I have the IFRAME with the link(URL of the website).
Can someone give me a clue about how to do this with Ez Publish? I'm a beginner.
Best Regards,
You haven't said anything about where you're getting the list from, so I assume you have the list already and just want to know the correct way to input this type of content.
Login to the site admin area, browse to the part of the site you want the list to be at (usually a folder). You'll be adding content items of type 'link' below the folder.
Select the 'Link' content type and click on the 'Create' here button. Enter the content (including the link URL to the page containing the IFRAME) then send for publishing.
I'm assuming the sites are your own, since many sites now take steps to prevent others placing their page in an IFRAME.
If you want this page to not just link to the iframe page, but to actually display the iframe content, then you'll need to override the default link template (copy it and tell eZ to use your version instead) and add a bit of html for the IFRAME.
If you're the main user imputing this content, you could also just allow eZ to accept literal HTML in the main description text areas (XML Block) and just paste in your IFRAME html. Ugly but quick to set-up.
You should be able to find many examples of entering literal html at the community web forums http://share.ez.no/forums
You should create a specific class for that with the two fields you need.
One for the name and another one with the URL.
Then you'll just have to make an override of node/view/full.tpl for your new class Where you will display the name and an iframe with URL that have been typped in your class instance.
