Websocket Connection Failure when connecting to bot with DLS client - botframework

When connecting to a local instance of the bot through a proxy and ngrok, I am able to receive responses using DLS client. However, when testing with the app service I receive no responses back and the following error:
"Error ConnectionFailure : Connection was closed by the remote host. Error code: 1000. Error details: Exceeded maximum websocket connection idle duration(> 300000ms) SessionId: 2ee9810a2916418a93dc1e978c49566b"
I have tried to restart the app service, ensured I have checked the "Enable Streaming Endpoint" box and toggled "Web sockets" to On, and even tried creating the app service. Looking at the app service logs, The GET request to the appservice returns 404, the bot receives a request and invokes StartWebSocketAsync but gets a 400 error and completed the request with http 400. There are no other exceptions being thrown, and locally everything seems to be working fine.
Any pointers would be appreciated.
Thank you!

Laravel Pusher throwing html response in console with title "Not Found" when an even is fired using tinker

This is the error that I am getting on console while firing an event using tinker.
I am able to connect to XXXs.XXX.com:8443/laravel-websockets, where I can see the default channel and socketId is being created.
The socket has been deployed on nginx server. Server is secured with the whitelisting and blacklisting IPs/Urls. The project is running on XXXs.XXX.com:8443 port and on same the websocket is running on XXXs.XXX.com:6001 port.
For the pusher credentials, I am using: PUSHER_APP_ID=MY_ID, PUSHER_APP_KEY='MY_KEY', PUSHER_APP_SECRET=MY_SECRET,
Also the certificate has been attached, and hence no issue while connecting to socket.
Since there's no issue on local system, so I doubt there is some server/system related issue, but unable to find one.

WebSocket API gateway connection issue

We are working on the ASP.Net core API application. In this application, we have a SignalR module for notification. We planned to host the application in the AWS environment. We have used the AWS lambda service to host the API, and also the WebSocket API gateway to consume the notification/SignalR part.
We are facing an issue with connecting the notification URL.
When we tried to connect the Web socket URL from Commandline using Node, it is showing "Unexpected server response 403".
When we tried to consume the URL from the frontend application, it showed the below error.
"WebSocket failed to connect. The connection could not be found on the server, either the endpoint may not be a SignalR endpoint, the connection ID is not present on the server, or there is a proxy blocking WebSockets. If you have multiple servers check that sticky sessions are enabled. ."
We are stuck with this issue. Any help to resolve this issue would be appreciable.

HttpClient timeout on Braintree call in Blazor

I'm deploying my .Net 6, Blazor Server site for the first time on shared hosting. It's all seems to work so far bar two things.
In the browser console (Chrome) I get an error:
Error 1
blazor.server.js:1 WebSocket connection to 'wss://www.mysite.co.uk/_blazor?id=qW5eCRVc_HbgSWt8iESawA' failed:

The connection could not be found on the server, either the endpoint may not be a SignalR endpoint, the connection ID is not present on the server, or there is a proxy blocking WebSockets. Warning: Failed to connect via WebSockets, using the Long Polling fallback transport. This may be due to a VPN or proxy blocking the connection. To troubleshoot this, visit https://aka.ms/blazor-server-using-fallback-long-polling.
The page seems to work & I've added all the CSP entries I can find so that's the only error left.
Error 2 is when I call Braintree to capture a payment. That's the only Braintree call & it works fine locally.
Transaction.SubmitForSettlementAsync(transactionId, amount)
gets an exception : The request was canceled due to the configured HttpClient.Timeout of 60 seconds elapsing.
I have no idea why that is & assume is blocking is call. Any help would be appreciated.

see: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/aspnet/core/signalr/publish-to-azure-web-app?view=aspnetcore-5.0#configure-the-app-in-azure-app-service
For apps hosted without the Azure SignalR Service, enable:
ARR Affinity to route requests from a user back to the same App Service > instance. The default setting is On.
Web Sockets to allow the Web Sockets transport to function. The default setting is Off.
In the Azure portal, navigate to the web app in App Services.
Open Configuration > General settings.
Set Web sockets to On.
Verify that ARR affinity is set to On.

What happens if UI makes a rest call and the server stops?

Suppose, UI is making calls to rest service and the server stops.
Does UI come to know about the server's state?
Does UI get any response back from the server?
What difference does it make if the rest call was POST or PUT?
When REST Api is stopped, the UI/Browser/Client will show "Could not get any response
There was an error connecting to " error, irrespective of request type: PUT /POST.
To answer your questions :
Does UI come to know about the server's state?
If Server stops, you will get an error like : error connecting server. Which can be traced to multiple rootcauses. One of them can be : Server has stopped.
In case of error, Server's state can be sent to client using various error codes like:
500 Internal Server Error The 500 status code, or Internal Server Error, means that server cannot process the request for an unknown reason. Here is list of status codes for REST APis: https://www.w3.org/Protocols/HTTP/HTRESP.html
Does UI get any response back from the server?
If server is stopped, UI/Client will receive no response.
What difference does it make if the rest call was POST or PUT?
If the server has stopped, it doesn't make any difference.
You can run this scenario using a browser and running any app/REST service in your local machine.
(For this test you need not have any REST application running in your local, as you only want to test when it is stopped)
For instance, if your REST application server is up and available at port 8080, you can send request to this server by sending request form your browser : http://localhost:8080
For testing with POST/PUT collections, you can use any API Development tools like : Postman.
Let's assue your REST Api , exposes following urls :
/myPostRequest POST
/myPutRequest PUT
When you hit these urls from POSTMAN you get the same response :
POST http://localhost:8080/myPostRequest :
Could not get any response
There was an error connecting to http://localhost:8080/transition-order.
PUT http://localhost:8080/myPutRequest :
Could not get any response
There was an error connecting to http://localhost:8080/transition-order.
Client(could be UI) and Server are two dumb applications. They do and say what they are told to.
So whenever a client tries to call a server on a socket and there is no server listening to it, there is no response returned to the client. The client can interpret it in whatever way it wants. Most of the browsers show <host> refused to connect.
But if a server is listening to a socket, it responds to the client whichever way it was programmed to do. The server sends an appropriate status code and expects that the client knows how to interpret it. A server can send any random number it wants... the catch is, the client must know how to interpret it. otherwise, it's just one-way communication.
In order to provide smooth client-server communication, section 10 of RFC 2616 defines various codes with specific meaning as shown here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Status
These status codes are the same for all the types of Http methods.

Faye chat application failing on web server (bluehost)

This is more of a network question , I believe. Not sure what the issue is. I have a chat application which uses faye and it runs fine on my system(rails app)
with localhost:3000 having faye mounted on it.I recently deployed this rails app onto bluehost server and when I try to use the faye client on browser ,its giving me this error:
WebSocket connection to 'ws://chat.xyz.com/faye' failed: Error during WebSocket handshake: Unexpected response code: 500
The below requests\handshakes keep on repeating.
GET ...chat.xyz.com/faye?message=%5B%7B%22channel%22%3A%22%2Fmet…ing%22%5D%2C%22id%22%3A%221%22%2C%22ext%22%3A%7B%7D%7D%5D&jsonp=jsonp3
GET ...chat.xyz.com/faye?message=%5B%7B%22channel%22%3A%22%2Fmet…ing%22%5D%2C%22id%22%3A%221%22%2C%22ext%22%3A%7B%7D%7D%5D&jsonp=jsonp4
GET ...chat.xyz.com/faye?message=%5B%7B%22channel%22%3A%22%2Fmet…ing%22%5D%2C%22id%22%3A%221%22%2C%22ext%22%3A%7B%7D%7D%5D&jsonp=jsonp5
GET ...chat.xyz.com/faye?message=%5B%7B%22channel%22%3A%22%2Fmet…ing%22%5D%2C%22id%22%3A%221%22%2C%22ext%22%3A%7B%7D%7D%5D&jsonp=jsonp6
GET ...chat.xyz.com/faye?message=%5B%7B%22channel%22%3A%22%2Fmet…ing%22%5D%2C%22id%22%3A%221%22%2C%22ext%22%3A%7B%7D%7D%5D&jsonp=jsonp7
GET ...chat.xyz.com/faye?message=%5B%7B%22channel%22%3A%22%2Fmet…ing%22%5D%2C%22id%22%3A%221%22%2C%22ext%22%3A%7B%7D%7D%5D&jsonp=jsonp8
GET ...chat.xyz.com/faye?message=%5B%7B%22channel%22%3A%22%2Fmet…ing%22%5D%2C%22id%22%3A%221%22%2C%22ext%22%3A%7B%7D%7D%5D&jsonp=jsonp9
GET ...chat.xyz.com/faye?message=%5B%7B%22channel%22%3A%22%2Fmet…ng%22%5D%2C%22id%22%3A%221%22%2C%22ext%22%3A%7B%7D%7D%5D&jsonp=jsonp10
And the failed handshakes\requests keep on getting repeated. Seeing the same on server logs also(except the 500 message obviously). The logs dont give any error apart from these repeats
Is it because of proxy\firewall issue. I recently came across an article :
http://www.infoq.com/articles/Web-Sockets-Proxy-Servers
I am not sure whether its related to blocking of requests by proxy servers.
Tried switching to secure protcol. https. Didn't help.
I use a simple client like this:
var client = new Faye.Client('http://chat.xyz.com/faye');
Any help would be great.
