I have a Spring Boot (2.2.5) application that depends on a Grails plugin (4.0.1) that contains domain object models shared across multiple projects.
It all starts up and works well (I can query the database from SB using dynamic finders) when I start using bootRun from Gradle, but when I try and start from IntelliJ (2019.1.3) using the Spring Boot run configuration, it throws the exception below.

Not the end of the world but IntelliJ exposes some nice features when starting a Spring Boot app using it's built in tool.

I'm using spring boot and hibernate and I'm running into a weird problem when using Oracle (works fine when I'm using Postgresql as database backend).
When starting my process with spring.jpa.hibernate.ddl-auto=validate, it crashes because hibernate can't find a table that actually exists in my database:

This problem even occurs, when I drop the database tables, run the process with spring.jpa.hibernate.ddl-auto=create, and then restart it with spring.jpa.hibernate.ddl-auto=validate. Anybody got any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I switched the JRE from 14 to 8. The error was gone, but an other error occured (incompatible types in one table). I fixed that error. The process started correctly. I switched back to JRE14. The process still works.
There are two scopes for my app, backend and frontend in my oauth2 security. I want to keep my login api open. delete and copy API requires jwt token with backend scope while rest of the APIs can be accessed with either backend and frontend scope.

what I am actually trying is, to built an backend with Spring Boot, this backend is split into two modules. One auth-server (embedded keycloak-server) and one resource-server (graphql-server).
In there I've a so service, called KeycloakService. This service has many public methods to communicate with the embedded keycloak instance. Every method has a meaningful equivalent in the graphql schema to create the possibility, to e.g. create new users or roles over a graphql mutation.
The auth-server runs without any problems.
But when I start up the resource server it crashes with the following stacktrace:
It tells me that he couldnt find TestLdapConnectionRepresentation.class, but I dont understand why he is trying to search for it, because I never used this feature of Keycloak.

Had the same problem and it seems Gradle does not resolve the "keycloak-core" dependency correctly (resolves version 8.0.1):

I am trying to setup a Spring Boot REST API that connects to Google Cloud Firestore.
Following this guide it looked simple enough but I quickly found of that there is stuff not mentioned here that needs to be done to run locally such as manually adding the json credentials file to the project.

Apparently there is a bug with the auto configuration

Adding this property to the application.properties files seems to work around the issue until the fix is released

Had spring boot test-cases with the below annotations, which were working on 2.1.3 version.

Also, the POM doesn't have any use of sticky versions for spring-data or spring-cloud which might be causing spring library inconsistencies.
