how to convert HAC flexible query to DAO query - dao

I'm using below flexible query in HMC and it's working fine.
The same query needs to convert the DAO layer and input is a data parameter.
Please any help on this?

Refer DefaultProductDao and create one for your requirement or you can extend it if you want to reuse any function. I hope by looking at the class, you'll have an understanding of how to write and execute the flexi query in the SAP Hybris.
Converting your query to DAO
Here, I would suggest avoiding using TO_DATE or any DB function to ensure that the query is not DB dependent. In your case, you can parse string date to Java Date object and pass it to the query something like below

Query to check if the record exists in Spring Jdbc Template

I am fairly new to spring ,I am looking to check if a certain email id exists in database or not , using Spring Jdbc Template ,I looked here but could'nt find the proper answer .I am looking something like ,SELECT count(*) from table where email=?
Any help will be appreciated.
You can do something as below if you are using jdbctemplate and new version of spring

queryForObject method of jdbcTemplate accepts the sql query as the first parameter, second argument is an array of objects for the sql query place holders and the third argument is the expected return value from the sql query.
In this case we only have one place holder and hence I gave the second argument as new Object[] { email } and the result we are expecting is a count which is a Integer and hence I gave it as Integer.class

Mongo Aggregation of $where: function() using MongoTemplate in SpringBoot [duplicate]

i'm trying to compare two string in mongoDB spring Data.
My Code:

In the above code "creationTime" & "lastModified" columns in mongoDB.I'm comparing those two fields, but its not giving correct count.
Is this correct? if it is wrong, How can i compare two fileds?
Standard query operations do not compare the values of one field against another. In order to do this, you need to employ the JavaScript evaluation server side which can actually compare the two field values:
Assuming both fields are ISODate instances

Spring jdbcTemplate -add filter to query

I write a queries in jdbcTemplate to create reports, Now I want to add filter to the reports. for example if i have query to create report of all contacts per day, now I want to filter it that be just between two dates not all
What the best way to do it ?
There is a special way to do it in Spring jdbcTemplate?

You have two options
1) You will need to use if statements to construct your sql and parameters.
2) Use another library for this purpose. I used ElSql in production before.

saving & updating full json document with Spring data MongoTemplate

I'm using Spring data MongoTemplate to manage mongo operations. I'm trying to save & update json full documents (using String.class in java).
Example:
String content = "{MyId": "1","code":"UG","variables":[1,2,3,4,5]}";
String updatedContent = "{MyId": "1","code":"XX","variables":[6,7,8,9,10]}";
I know that I can update code & variables independently using:
Query query = new Query(where("MyId").is("1"));
Update update1 = new Update().set("code", "XX");
getMongoTemplate().upsert(query, update1, collectionId);
Update update2 = new Update().set("variables", "[6,7,8,9,10]");
getMongoTemplate().upsert(query, update2, collectionId);
But due to our application architecture, it could be more useful for us to directly replace the full object. As I know:
getMongoTemplate().save(content,collectionId)
getMongoTemplate().save(updatedContent,collectionId)
implements saveOrUpdate functionality, but this creates two objects, do not update anything.
I'm missing something? Any approach? Thanks

There may be some other way to get keyset from json, you can use according to your convenience.
You can use BasicDbObject to get keyset.
you can get BasicDbObject using mongoTemplate.getConverter().

How to use prepared statement that returns resultset with jdbcTemplate in spring mvc 3?

Here is my code which uses jdbcTemplate

Now i want to be able to use preparedstatement with a query like "select branch from branchTable where branch_name = ?"
How can i do that with jdbcTemplate ?
Examples i searched show demonstration on how to use it with update or insert query, but not with select query..

JdbcTemplate has another query() method which takes arguments of the prepared statement as parameter:
jdbcTemplateObject.query(SQL, new Object[] {branchName}, new RowMapper() {...});
Note that:
SQL should be named sql
You should use List and not ArrayList. Nothing in the javadoc guarantees that an ArrayList is returned. And you shouldn't care about the concrete type of list returned.
You should use a RowMapper<String> and not a raw RowMapper.
