I'm using Vuetify v1.5, and I have a v-data-table which overflows horizontally. It has a scroll bar on its bottom, but it is not that convenient to scroll down the whole table to be able to scroll it horizontally. How do I add another scroll bar?
In other words, I want the table to act like in this question, but I have trouble with appending this functionality to the v-data-table body.

I want to make the search bar disappear by clicking the navigation bar item and make the collection view to fill the blank, animated obviously. ( like making the screen move upwards because the keyboard is showing )
is it Possible also to make it disappear when I scroll down an appear when I scroll up again ?
I dont think both ways will work at the same time but anyway I want to know how to make each way work.
thanks for the help :)
A collection view is a scroll view. A scroll view can have a delegate. A scroll view's delegate is told when the scroll view is scrolling. Therefore you can do anything you like in response to the user scrolling the scroll view, including moving the search bar.
Is it possible to have the items in a navigation bar be scrollable? In order words, if I have 5+ items in the navigation bar, I want to be able to scroll through them horizontally. I have seen it with custom buttons and custom navigation bars, but I want to know if it can be done with View Controller with an embedded Navigation Controller.
I have an interesting embedded view issue in lotus notes. I have the view embedded into a table cell and have turned off scrolling and extend last column options and the scroll bars don't display, everything looks good.
But as soon as I check the display actions option the horizontal scroll bar scows. I only have one button. Is there anything I can do to hide the scroll bar?
You can show or hide only both the scrollbars at once. Impossible to set a property for only one scrollbar.
I have custom TableViewController with plain style Table View and it is embeded in Navigation Controller. I use Refresh Control on the table view and Black Translucent style of the navigation bar and all is setup in storyboard.
The first row of the table view starts right under the navigation bar item, which is ok, and the rows can scroll under the navigation bar which is semi transparent. When user starts to pull the table down to activate Refresh Control, the animation of the refresh object obviously starts at the edge of the screen under the Navigation Bar, and so the refresh object is always partially covered by the navigation bar which can confuse inexperienced users.
Is there a way to tell the TableView to avoid scrolling under the navigation bar and start the refresh control object animation right under the navigation bar? I tried to play with Scroller Insets on table view without any effect.
Thank you.
If you go into the properties for the tableview controller in your storyboard, you can change the size and positioning of the tableview to start after the navigation bar. The problem isn't an offset, but the size and position of the tableview itself. Just move the y position down to accommodate the nav bar.
I would like to have buttons inside a scroll view (or another solution to creating a scrollable button bar).
I have buttons placed side by side in a row along the top of a view. As a user resizes the window to be less wide, fewer buttons can be seen.
When all the buttons cannot be viewed, I would like the user to still be able to access all the buttons by scrolling horizontally through them.
To visualise this, imagine in Safari if you open too many tabs to fit in the window - I would like the user to be able to scroll to the right and reveal the tabs that weren't on the screen.
You need to deselect the springs (for the custom view of the scroller) in the autosizing setter so that the view doesn't shrink along with the scroll view when you resize.
