I have searched for a similar problem for the past couple hours and have not found a solution. My database contains a User, Game, and Save class with migration files to correspond. When I run my game, it says

Yesterday, I was able to run my program without any issues and it would seem something else may be the problem. When I run rake db:migrate or any other rake commands, nothing updates in the schema or db folder. I'm out of options for what the solution can be. Please help.
I am running my code on Visual Studio Code through the built-in terminal. I run my code by typing ruby bin/run.rb
tty::prompt is used to navigate through the menus. When trying to create a new User or login to a user, it states the table for 'users' cannot be found.

I installed all the gems required, matrix, rack, prawn... but still.
I have been following directions in this book (and I made sure I copied everything over correctly). The example I'm working on is making a simple application by first generating a controller, creating an action, and then creating a template. This is just a simple "hello world" example.

The error says undefined method ` get' for .
This is due to the extra spaces before 'get'. Remove them and I think you should be good to go.
I got this error when i ran the 'rackup' command after using rake for database migrations, i don't understand what this means.

i have this in my config.ru file

run Sinatra::Application
I tried to do the same config.ru. When i removed
require 'sinatra/activerecord/rake'
Everything started to work.
Method "namespace" is defined in rake/dsl_definition.rb. So, your application extending Sinatra::Base doesn't see it.
I'm just getting my feet wet in rails development. Trying to learn from "Head First Rails", which is fairly out of date. But I'm updating the commands to more modern versions of rails.

You're not specifying name attribute, (i.e model)
I just attempted installing devise and had some trouble. From previous experience I know that when I install it I am required to do some manual steps. Well this time there where no manual steps but I still did them because I know they had to be done. So everything is working fine but then I run rails g devise: views this returns

You need to add

to your devise file (config/initializers/devise_initializer.rb).
if you are on production dont put this in any config file rather put it as environment variable
rails 4 have one secret.yml file in which there is a line
secret_key_base: <%= ENV["SECRET_KEY_BASE"] %>
you just need to set ENV["SECRET_KEY_BASE"]
I am not sure but secret key is any string

but resolved it after restarting my rails server
