I am getting issue while writing unit test for following configuration:

While running unit tests, I am getting null for operations. I am not getting idea how to fix this.
Some things to try:
when(operations.process(Constants.DIR))
You need to use a Matcher instead of Constans.DIR. In Mockito 2 this would be
when(operations.process(ArgumentMatchers.eq(Constants.DIR)))
And if your Operations is null in XYXProvider I would try:

I am having dificulties with using MockMvc.

when I try to use MockMvc I get null body. It seems employee is null. But I didn't understand why.
I thought that when test uses perform, it should initialise employee and later on it should't be null.
I tried to cut the code as much as possible. I hope it is not long.
Note : also tried to use Mockito.when(employeeController.GetEmployee()).thenCallRealMethod();
The #SpringBootTest annotation loads the complete Spring application
context. That means you do not mock your layers
(Services/Controllers).
If you wanted to test specific layers of your application, you could look into test slice annotations offered by Springboot: https://docs.spring.io/spring-boot/docs/current/reference/html/test-auto-configuration.html
In contrast, a test slice annotation only loads beans required to test a particular layer. And because of this, we can avoid unnecessary mocking and side effects.

When i`m running my test i got a :
Caused by: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Cannot determine embedded database for tests. If you want an embedded database please put a supported one on the classpath.
What do i need to add to make determine of my database. Do i need to place application properties somewhere or something else?

In the above code inside test even after mocking return value of operation.process(), I am getting null as output while testing the PostConstruct process() function. I am clueless regarding how to fix this.
I have a class JobDelegate for which i am writing unit tests using mockito. I am unable to mock the HTTPOperations class. I have tried using setter injection from test class as well. Im currently working with Camel's mock component and i would like to test it on an existing routes. Basically i want to retain the existing routes defined in the app, but inject a few mocks during test, to verify or at least peek on the current exchange contents.
Based on the docs and from the Apache Camel Cookbook. I've tried to use #MockEndpoints
