Insert table column in body after Outlook add-in - outlook

There is an Outlook add-in app.
When the button is clicked, the table is inserted in the body, and after the first insertion, the next button is clicked and I want to insert the table column.
Are there any related tutorials?
The method that uses the table for the body is using - office.js prependAsync method.

Adding a column to an HTML table after inserting it into the body of a message is quite difficult since we don't provide any special APIs for manipulating individual HTML elements inserted into the body of a message.
One good approach is to build the table entirely in the add-in, and then use a button in the add-in to insert it into the body of the message. If you need more real estate to construct the table visually, you can use the Office dialog API to open a dialog window with your desired size.

Updating a Button in an MS Access 2013 Form

I have a form in MS Access 2013 that is associated with two tables. The form populates with various fields from each table. I also have several buttons to Add a Record, Find a Record (from one of the tables), Save, and Close Form. I want to add a button that allows me to find a record from the other table. I was successfull creating the button, but the button is looking at the wrong table. I want the button to look at the other table but I can't find a way to switch the table the button is looking at. I don't understand Macros very well but this appears to be a very easy problem. How can I make the button look at the right table?

Automatic display of records in Dynamics

So i am trying to retrieve records from the database when an info is typed into a field e.g Sprint is entered into "Company name" field , how can i capture the contents of that field, retrieve it's records from the database and use it to fill the remaining parts of the form.
This is my first time using dynamics CRM, would like it if someone can help me out or point me in the right direction.
Dynamics crm has provided on change event of a field here
Attribute OnChange Event (Client API reference) you can find info about it.
How to write client side scripting in Dynmaics crm
Steps I would perform:
Add onchange event for field on which you want it to fire.
Then I would add javascript for the onchange of field
In that Javascript I will use Dynamics crm Webapi to retrieve data from Account Xrm.WebApi (Client API reference)
Once I get the data I would set that in those field where needed on from setValue (Client API reference)
You will find numerous example of how to create a Javascript for Dynamics CRM
CRM also has what is known as a Quick View Card which can retrieve values from the source record (for display only).
For example, when you select "Sprint" as the Company Name, you can use a Quick View Card to display information about the "Sprint" account record.
Here's the MSDN Link
A quick view control on a custom business app form displays data from a record that is selected in a lookup on the form. The data displayed in the control is defined using a quick view form. The data displayed is not editable, but when the primary field is included in the quick view form, it becomes a link to open the related record
This is a code-free alternative to the answer described below, so the advantage is that it is easier to maintain. The data is also "live" meaning that if you update a phone number on the "Sprint" account the update will appear on all quick view forms (after a refresh)
The disadvantage is that this is not a copy of the data, so may be a problem for future reporting. If you need a point-in-time capture of the data, this can also be a problem.

Why is my Oracle APEX DML Form stuck in edit mode and not going back to create mode?

I have created a page based on "Form & Report" template. So there is the Report page on which there is the create button. That create button leads to the form page which contains.
It is pretty simple. I don't know if there is a cache memory not emptying itself or if there is a setting that I have not properly set.
When I want to create a new database record, Oracle Apex behaves as if I asked it to update a record (though it still presents me with empty text fields).
Below the image of what's happening.
Create button of the Report
Buttons for edit are shown when I click the create button
Those edit buttons are shown instead of the buttons below => This means that the Apex software is behaving like I asked to edit a record not to insert a record.
Why is this happening?
You need to take a look at your create button. Is it passing a value to the form? If so, you probably don't want that. Is it clearing the cache of the form? If not, you probably want to clear it.
Also, on the form page take a look at your processes.. specifically the Automated Row Fetch (ARF) process.. what's the primary key that this process is using?
Also, take a look at the conditions for each button on your form. For the delete/save buttons you likely want a condition type of "value of item / column in expression 1 Is NOT NULL".
For your create button you would want the opposite.. "value of item /... IS NULL".
In both cases for the expression 1 you'd want to use the item that your ARF is leveraging.
#Bloomberg58 if you used the wizard that should not have anyway try to validate the create button in report page and the server-side validation of create and save button in form page

app sends an email based on inputs - How can I preview the emai?

I'll start by saying, I'm new to Oracle Apex.
I have an application prepared that can take in user inputs. On choosing the 'create' button these are saved to a table row AND an email is fired.
The email is built in HTML as a process. It takes in the page items displays them in a particular order in the html and sends to chosen recipients.
Can anyone suggest how a preview of the email could be viewed? Or point me to a tutorial that explains/demonstrates?
You can use a DisplayOnly item to display p_body_html if you are using APEX_MAIL.SEND.
Remember to Set Escape special characters on it to No.

Including an image in a rich text field

I'm using Apex 4.2 and Oracle 11.g.
I have a rich text field that is used to store the body of an apex-generated eMail using SMTP_MAIl. The eMail generation process works fine. But my users want to include an image (jpg, bmp, etc.) into the body of the email, and don't want to include the image as an attachment.
On the Apex page, the rich-text field is defined as a Rich Text Editor / CDK Editor 3 / Toolbar = Full / Toolbar Expanded = Yes / Skin = Office 2003.
The rich-text field writes to a BLOB column.
If I just paste in the image (Shift / Insert) and then go to save the rich text field, I get a 500 - Internal Server Error.
Can you provide some help so that I can include an image in the rich text field? Ultimately, this will be included in the body of an html_email.
Thanks for your help.
The nature of my problem seems to be related to the 32K limit per Apex page item.
A colleague told me to look for a plugin. I found Enkitec's "CLOB LOAD" plugin. https://www.enkitec.com/products/plugins/clob-load
The plugin works well. It's easy to install, and the directions are pretty clear.
I stumbled on a few things to supplement CLOB_LOAD directions.
1) The table item that the Rich Text will write to has to be defined as a CLOB (and not a BLOB).
2) You have to create a Apex Collection using Apex's SQL Workshop. Be sure to include the Begin and End. The directions reference this.
3) If you already setup the form Apex page using the Apex Wizard and the DML page process is there, The "Return Key Into Item" is empty. At least it was with my Apex Page (4.2). That prevented the "Create" button from working. Once I set the "Return Key Into Item" value to the page item that relates to the primary key column of the table, it helped.
4) I also had to copy the page process for the "Save" button suggested by the plugin directions and assign the copied process to the "Create" button. Once I set those two items up, the plugin worked fine for updating as well as creating. It's a good solution.
Using this plugin, I can place a JPG, PNG, GIF, etc. into the Rich Text field, and it will write it to the CLOB, even when the total page item is greater than 32K.
