How to get join/leave messages or events from teams chats - microsoft-teams

I work on making a parser for teams export data / pst format using Aspose lib for eDiscovery tool. Can the events like user joined or left a channel be exported from Teams and found in data ?

Aspose.Email doesn't seem to serve what you have requested at the moment . However, I have added a ticket with ID EMAILNET-39875 as investigation to further evaluate it. We will share the feedback with you as soon as we will complete investigation.
FYI: Aspose.Email API supports managing the entities mentioned in following image if stored inside PST.

Google Analytics Data API: missing flag for identifying `golden` data

I've been using such API for generating reports over Google Analytics:
https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/reporting/core/v4/rest/v4/reports/batchGet
This API has result field isDataGolden:
Indicates if response to this request is golden or not. Data is golden when the exact same request will not produce any new results if asked at a later point in time.
Currently Google Analytics has new API for generating such reports:
https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/reporting/data/v1/rest/v1beta/properties/batchRunReports
But there is no analogue of isDataGolden field in this API
Question:
Is such flag will be added to new API, or maybe there is another instrument to get only golden data from new API?
p.s.:
I need to use this new API, since old one does not support new analytics properties without Universal Analytics view_id
The Google analytics data api is used for extracting data from google analytics ga4 accounts. The reporting api is used for extracting data from Universal analytics accounts. These are two different systems and should not be compared. You can not use the Google analytics data api to extract data from universal analytics accounts with view ids.
If you check the documentation for RunReportResponse which is the response returned from running a reporting in google analytics data. You will find that there is no is golden property or any property of that nature.
Remember this api is still in beta the team is still working on it. One may appear in the future. You will need to wait to find out if google will add any field like this in the future as anyone who would know is probably under NDA and cant tell you.

How to generate and handle internal IDs in Microsoft Forms 365

I am trying to implement an evaluation survey for meetings, using Microsoft Forms over Office 365.
After I create and generate the link, I can get the info in an Excel file, but am missing a field with which I can link the survey's answers to the meeting.
Desired output in as seen in this image (all fields are already generated by Forms, except by that whose content is highlighted in yellow, which is the one I need to find out how to generate):
For the time being, I have 2 issues to solve:
How can I generate an ID for a meeting from Microsoft Outlook (where the meeting invitation was sent).
How can I pass that ID to Microsoft Forms.
Ideas about this or an alternative approach are welcome, thanks!!!
I think I have found a better approach:
To scrape all appointments in a period of time via API
To load appointment's data in MongoDB
To send personalized links to Outlook Forms questionnaires.
Here is the API documentation:

getStream - Flat Feed where multiple users can post

we are implementing stream in our application and so far we love the out of the box react components as well as the backend implementation stream ruby - this is our setup currently.
We are close to deploying a first MVP but found that it seems to be not possible to post activities to a flat feed from multiple users by default.
Our use case is that we have a group of people that want to post activities about a certain topic (think facebook groups). Therefore we create a feed for the object (lets say a company) and want each user to be able to post activities there. Our current workaround is to add the author id as additional data and add a custom header to a activity - obviously not the best solution as reactions won't work that way.
Looking around we found that this seems to not work out of the box see this issue and this question.
Is this a feature that is only available to paying customers or how can we activate it?
Thank you in advance!
When using Stream with React users can only post to their own user feed, this is a default permission policy that can be changed by Stream.
I suggest reaching to Stream support by email and ask to change the permission policy.

Outlook/Exchange RoomFinder (w/ Lex)

I'm an intern and I've been tasked with creating a RoomFinder API for Outlook that works with Amazon's Lex/Lambda to find a location and schedule meetings given a list of participants. The API is supposed to be able to pull the calendars from Outlook for the individual participants, find a time that works for all of them and a location with a proper seating capacity, and then schedule the meeting+add it to the calendars of those involved. I have a pretty good understanding of how Lex works and have created my own functions using Lambda before but I don't even know where to begin when it comes to pulling the calendars from Outlook for the participants.
I have been trying to get an idea of how to go about this for a few days now and found some information on Outlook's REST API which it sounds like can be used to gather some of the needed information but I'm not sure how to actually begin doing that. Here are links to a few of those pages:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/office365/api/use-outlook-rest-api#RegAuthConverged
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/dn643730(v=exchg.150).aspx
I also managed to find a few pages on GitHub of similar, more basic scripts using Python to acquire things like Room Availability from Outlook but I couldn't get any of those to work. I don't have enough reputation to post more links but if seeing those would help I can maybe comment them later.
I'm really looking for any advice on where to begin or tips on how to get this done. I think I may be on the right track with the REST API idea but I have no clue how to actually use it or set it up.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
We are just now rolling out a new REST API to list the roomsIDs(findrooms). You can use this in conjunction with the findmeetingtimes API to schedule meetings. Please take a look at the REST API docs here(remember to choose beta in the top-right)

Yammer Analytics API

To give an context, we are trying to achieve reporting functionality based on the Yammer activity/usage information.
Questions
We are not able to find any Analytics API in the link https://developer.yammer.com/documentation/ except Data Export API. Please let us know if we have any other API related to usage Analytics.
Is there any way to execute our query against yammer big data for us to get the usage information?
• The data export is not providing the information such as ‘like’, ‘share’ and ‘followed by’. Is there any other way to export yammer data including these missing items?
How to remove the deleted entries from the past collection just in case if we are going to do periodic data export?
How the third party tools companies like ‘good data’ will contact yammer for analytics data. This will help us to find the approach involved in this.
Can someone help us on this.
have you tried this : http://blogs.msdn.com/b/richard_dizeregas_blog/archive/2014/04/09/yammer-analytics-with-excel-and-power-bi.aspx Yammer API and Excel 2013 for bigger data..
Having said that - I think the tool is currently broken as I seem be be able to download 114% of my stats, then get some blank CSV files which then fail on power pivot.
You need to be a verified admin to access this tool.
Cheers
Rich
About Question 2
There are good ways of doing it through the API. You can use Excel and PowerQuery or a home made .net data extractor. Like, Share and followed By are possible with the API but not with the useless Data Export feature. Be aware the API have some issues when trying to retrive all data. I'm currently trying to get these issues fixed.
About Question 4
They need the account of a trusted admin. Thanks to a Token they will be able to access all your networks messages and provide you most of the Analytics you need.
They have good webinards for their tool. Only issue is that they copy your data in their environment in the US (is not acceptable for European customers).
