It seems to be the key varchar(50) because key is a reserved word in MariaDB and can't be used as a column identifier:

Try using another name.

I've debugged the application and just before the insert Hibernate correctly populates the UUID field.
Any idea what may be causing this?
I think this is a limitation of Hibernate 5 running into an issue of how Hibernate Envers builds it's model. If you want to model this, you will have to use Hibernate 6.
I got this problem, i got error Failed to initialize JPA EntityManagerFactory, I fixed it when i delete my working table in postgresql and then initiliaze it again, but it is working only for some time, when I try to add something, or change anything to improve the code i get this error again.

Last time i fixed it with just drop the tables in POSTGRESQL, but as i said, after i try to add someting to code, and restart it, this error is displayed, I think its something wrong with database, do you have any idea?

Also, make sure that the user_accounts_seq sequence exists in Postgres and that the user you are using to connect to the database has access to said sequence (in Postgres access grants for tables and sequences are seperate!).
You can create a sequence as follows:

You can grant access to sequences in the public schema as follows:

The getTrainerNoAccount() is working fine.
Hibernate maps your entity as Trainer, the name of your class, since you didn't specified the name param in #Entity annotation.
Thus, your query should be "SELECT t from Trainer t...".
getTrainerNoAccount() works fine because its #Query is set as native, using the table name and not your entity name.

As far as I can see you use OPEN_JPA and they have unresolved bug related to your question. If you have #OneToMany with fetch type FetchType.EAGER you are going to see
PersistenceException: LongId cannot be cast to MyEntity...

As workaround they suggest to avoid "eager" and use "join fetch" instead
