I accidently deleted EFS (Encrypting File System) certificate by using the properties form in the Internet Explorer and now I don't have access to my encrypted files.
Is there any option to restore the certificate?
I can see this certificate in the system but when I imported it back, it is not shown that the certificate has a private key.
In my case, I found another version of the same certificate in certmgr.msc and luckily this version has a private key. I exported the certificate and then imported it into the personal folder. The access to the encrypted files was restored.

The document said " Now start a browser on the device, and visit the magic domain mitm.it."
But I visit the domain mitm.it, it does not give certification but said "If you can see this, traffic is not passing through mitmproxy."
The link in picture leads to document page I said above.
Update: I install mitmproxy with windows installer.
I have to manually set proxy in windows setting for certificate link appear.
Start mitm ui app in start menu.
Open http://127.0.0.1:8081/#/flows

After a fresh install of Firefox, I had to find the Kaspersky certificate in Windows 10 and to export it. After, I imported it in Firefox (in "options" search for "certificate"). Before that, Firefox wouldn't open Youtube or Google, saying they were not trusted…
Why the hassle? AFAIK, Firefox can check certificates. It does so in Ubuntu, where there is no Kaspersky. So why can't Kaspersky just leave certificates alone and transmit them to Firefox? Is there any advantage?
Kaspersky plays man-in-the-middle so it can read communication that should be kept private. The reason for this is that they claim that malicious communication can be identified. It is done by breaking the crypto system…

If the contents are encrypted there is no hope unless you have the key, that is the whole point of encryption.
To examine and open .pkg files Use "Pacifist.app".
The file encrypted1202238309850061611.pfpkg is not encrypted, I can tell by looking at the contents in a hex editor, there may be sub portions that are though. If you change the extension from pfpkg to pkg Pacifist will open it.
The file encrypted1202238309850061611.pkg will open in Pacifist.

I use openSUSE 13.1 and Firefox 38.0.1.
On some pages with ssl it takes minutes until the connection is established.
It only happens on sites whose ssl certificate is not trusted by firefox, so that it asks you if you really want to enter the site. But even this security question takes minutes until it appears.
In chrome everything works fine.
So what's wrong with firefox? How can I debug this error?
Don't know why, but I removed the file cert8.db from within the profile folder, now it works again.

The title says it all. I have found several discussions of AIA, but I have not found any recent statement that it is (or will be) supported, either for server side or client side certificates. This is important because we have a smart card project that will affect thousands of people with certs that are not in the standard list of CA roots, and/or intermediates, but does have a valid AIA. It is not practical to require our users to add the missing certificates; too many, too low-tech. Of course the certificates work just fine with IE and Chrome.
Do I have to tell people not to use Firefox? :-(
