Custom Web Component image not showing - image

I have been working through a yt tutorial on Web Components by Brad Traversy, a great teacher with great content, as I'm sure many of you already know :)
I've gotten up to the 17 minute mark, though the problem I'm having is that the images are not displaying as they are in the tutorial...
They are being added to the document flow... I can tell this because the layout re-adjusts to accommodate the space for an image... it's just that the image is not displayed...
Just for comparison, I added a image of a similar nature directly in the html and it works fine.
Anyway, here is my code...
index.html:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
<meta charset="UTF-8">
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
<title>Web Components Example</title>
<style>
h3 {
color: purple;
}
</style>
</head>
<body>
<h3>Hello World... where's the images?!?!?</h3>
<!-- <user-card name="you oddo" avatar="https://randomuser.me/api/portraits/men/1.jpg"></user-card> -->
<user-card name="huik popp" avatar="38.jpg"></user-card>
<user-card name="som otha"></user-card>
<img src="95.jpg">
<style>h3 {color: green}</style>
<script src="userCard.js"></script>
</body>
</html>
and the Javascript...
UserCard.js:
const template = document.createElement('template');
template.innerHTML = `
<style>
h3 {
color: coral;
}
</style>
<div class="user-card">
<img />
<div>
<h3></h3>
</div>
</div>
`;
class UserCard extends HTMLElement {
constructor() {
super();
this.attachShadow({ mode: 'open'});
this.shadowRoot.appendChild(template.content.cloneNode(true));
this.shadowRoot.querySelector('h3').innerText = this.getAttribute('name');
this.shadowRoot.querySelector('img').innerText = this.getAttribute('avatar');
}
}
window.customElements.define('user-card', UserCard);
I'd appreciate any help with this very much. I've been enjoying following along with this tutorial so far and well, would like to keep up with how things look in the video.
Many thanks.

I'm answering my question here...
In userCard.js, I have:
this.shadowRoot.querySelector('img').innerText = this.getAttribute('avatar');
It should be:
this.shadowRoot.querySelector('img').src = this.getAttribute('avatar');

Tell Brad he can shorten the code to:
class UserCard extends HTMLElement {
constructor() {
super()
.attachShadow({ mode: 'open'})
.innerHTML = `
<style>
h3 {
color: coral;
}
</style>
<div class="user-card">
<img />
<div>
<h3></h3>
</div>
</div>
`;
...
}
);

The attribute 'amp4ads' may not appear in tag 'html'

I was developing AMP Ad as advertiser. I tested the sample amp4ads provided by ampByExample.com (official starter codes)
https://ampbyexample.com/amp-ads/introduction/hello_world/
I found amp4ads is not VALIDATED by official validator (link below)
https://validator.ampproject.org/
here is the sample snippet you can test it on validator
<html ⚡4ads>
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<title> Hello World</title>
<script async src="https://cdn.ampproject.org/amp4ads-v0.js"></script>
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width,minimum-scale=1,initial-scale=1">
<style amp4ads-boilerplate>body{visibility:hidden}</style>
<style amp-custom>
h1 {
color: red;
}
</style>
</head>
<body>
<h1>Hello World</h1>
</body>
</html>
It throws a lot of errors. Can anyone help me fix this issue, I couldn't find anything related.
Thanks
Unfortunately, validator.ampproject.org does not support AMP Ads. If you open the page in the AMP Playground you'll see that it's valid: https://ampbyexample.com/playground/#url=https%3A%2F%2Fampbyexample.com%2Famp-ads%2Fintroduction%2Fhello_world%2Fsource%2F&runtime=amp4ads.

Polymer binding not working in Firefox

I'm seeing an issue where I can see the bound 'test' value appear on the demo page on Chrome but not in Firefox. I'm already including the polyfills (webcomponents-lite.js) so I'm really not sure what's missing. Any ideas?? Thank you in advance.

<h3>Basic ticket-item demo</h3>
<demo-snippet>
<template>
<ticket-item id="ticket-item"></ticket-item>
</template>
</demo-snippet>
</div>
</body>
</html>
ticket-item element
<dom-module id="ticket-item">
<template>
<style include="my-theme">
:host {
display: block;
}
</style>
<div>test: [[test]]</div>
</template>
<script>
class TicketItem extends Polymer.Element {
static get is() { return 'TicketItem'; }
static get properties() {
return {
test: String
};
}
}
window.customElements.define(TicketItem.is, TicketItem);
</script>
</dom-module>
The first thing:
Custom element names. By specification, the custom element's name must start with a lower-case ASCII letter and must contain a dash (-). There's also a short list of prohibited element names that match existing names. For details, see the Custom elements core concepts section in the HTML specification.
So, you must change the name of "item" element.
Instead of loading the webcomponents-lite.js directly, load webcomponents-loader.js (a client-side loader that dynamically loads the minimum polyfill bundle, using feature detection), that will do the rest.
Plnkr link: works both in Firefox and Chrome.
The problem was that I named my component 'ticket-item' and the id was set to 'ticket-item'. It apparently needs to be something different from 'ticket-item'. I change the id to 'item' and now I'm seeing the binding.

Image size in Javascript - IE9

I am trying to get the size of my image in IE9. I did it with success (tried on jpg). When I try loading an image whose width is lower than the height, there is no problem at all. But when I try to upload an image with a width higher than the height, I see that the lines that output "vh:", "vw:" return zero.
Why is there a problem when trying to load an image (by my code) with width > height?
Thanks.
Here is my code (Works for IE9 - That's what I want to check out).

Thanks, anyway :)

my page displays differently in firefox than in safari

I'm working on a microsite for a client, and things are working almost fine, except when I tried viewing it on firefox, I was surprised by how mis-placed things looked like..even though I disabled horizontal scrolling, in firefox u could still do it ( dont see the horizontal scroll but if you scroll horizontally it shows), even the webfont is different, although the webfont displays perfectly on firefox in other pages..and the third problem is the page top-margin, in the page properties I specified the margin to be 0 and in safari it worked, but in firefox it doesn't. could anyone please tell me what to do..I only have a spry menu bar and easing (animate2id) plugin which could be causing the problem maybe? in Safari it looks the way I want it to look..thanks in advance..
maybe I should mention that I'm a novice and I know what I know by self-learning.
here's the code in case..

in load.html i have a paragraph with with dummy content.
why this script is not changing my content of page...
loading a document object inside other is allowed or not?
You should change $(document).load('load.html'); to $('body').load('load.html');:
$(document).ready(function()
{
$('div').click(function(){
$('body').load('load.html');
return false;
});
});
