How to resolve error code 73 for Oracle WLS/Coherence patching? - oracle

I'm trying to fix security vulnerabilities for Oracle Weblogic on Windows systems by applying the recommended patch file. However, many systems I am updating are rejecting the recommended patch - saying that coherence is not installed. The systems have been installed with fmw_12.2.1.4.0_wls (which includes Coherence(?)), and I have updated OPatch to the most recent version as well. I have also set the ORACLE_HOME and JAVA_HOME environment variables to point to the correct file paths, and have tried running the attachHome command.
Here is what the command prompt shows after attempting to apply the patch:

The log file produces the same error as well.

ora2pg - Strawberry perl - Can't load module Oracle.xs.dll

When i try to launch the following line :

Perhaps a required
shared library or dll isn't installed where expected at
C:\Strawberry\perl\site\lib/Ora2Pg.pm line 1552.
I'm using Strawberry perl 5.28, 64bit.
What can I do ?
I solved this by adding the Oracle directory in the PATH.
For connect to Oracle database you must have Oracle client with OCI.dll accessible to be dynamically loaded by Oracle.xs.dll. So, if you haven't any Oracle client installed then from the Oracle web site download the Oracle instant client, the same 32/64-bit edition like your Strawberry edition is, unpack it somewhere, where you want to store it (e.g. C:\Progs\OracleInstantClient), and add directory containing OCI.dll to the PATH environment variable. Then it should works.

PG Admin III Slony-I creation scripts not available

I have installed PostgreSQL 9.4 (x86), PG Admin 1.20 and Slony-I 2.2.3 through Stack Builder on a windows platform.
When trying to create a new Slony cluster in pgAdmin, I get the
"Slony-I creation scripts not available" error message.
1) I have setup options Slony-I path to
-->:C:\Program Files (x86)\PostgreSQL\9.4\share
where all the slony1_*.sql scripts are located but I still get the same error.
2) Using procmon I see that PGAdmin tries to access "slony1_funcs.sql" and "slony1_funcs.2.2.0.sql" none of which exist in my \share directory
the installed funcs scripts are "slony1_funcs.2.2.3.sql", "slony1_funcs.v83.2.2.3.sql", slony1_funcs.v84.2.2.3.sql
and the base scripts are "slony1_base.2.2.3.sql", "slony1_base.v83.2.2.3.sql", slony1_base.v84.2.2.3.sql
3) I have tried to rename "slony1_funcs.2.2.3.sql" to "slony1_funcs.2.2.0.sql" and "slony1_funcs.sql" and I now get a new error "Couldn't test for the Slony version. Assuming 1.2.0" and again the
"Slony-I creation scripts not available" error message
Does anyone have an idea how to get this working?

How to check Oracle patches are installed?

How do I check that all services and patches are installed in Oracle?
I have an Oracle 10.2.0.2.0 db version and want to install patches. Also I want to get a list with all services and patches.
Here is an article on how to check and or install new patches :
To find the OPatch tool setup your database enviroment variables and then issue this comand:
cd $ORACLE_HOME/OPatch
> pwd
/oracle/app/product/10.2.0/db_1/OPatch
To list all the patches applies to your database use the lsinventory option:
[oracle#DCG023 8828328]$ opatch lsinventory

OPatch succeeded.
To list the patches using sql :
select * from registry$history;
I understand the original post is for Oracle 10 but this is for reference by anyone else who finds it via Google.
Under Oracle 12c, I found that that my registry$history is empty.
This works instead:
select * from registry$sqlpatch;
Maybe you need "sys." before:
select * from sys.registry$history;
