Can't create a UWP app

I recently, upgraded to Windows 10 and got Visual Studio 2015 Community hoping to build UWP apps and ASP.Net 5 apps. At first, I installed everything, but ended up skipping / canceling the Windows 8.1 / 10 mobile emulators (my PC can't even run them). After everything was installed, I went to create a new UWP app (C#), and got this error:
Next, I try the same thing, but with JavaScript. It works perfectly! on the same UAP 10.0.0.0 that is supposedly missing. The link it provides is completely useless (it sends me to http:/microsoft.com/en-us) -_-. Oddly, this only happens when I try to use C# or VB.Net, JavaScript UWP apps seem to work fine. What is going on here? Where can I find the real link to the SDK I need?
UPDATE
JavaScript UWP apps will be create just fine, but when I attempt to build, I get:
Error "10.0.0.0" is not a supported value forTargetPlatformVersion.
Please change it on the Project Property page. Test
C:\Program Files (x86) \MSBuild\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v14.\JavaScript\Microsoft.VisualStudio.JavaScript.UAP.targets
This is the download link for the standalone SDK, maybe reinstalling the sdk will fix the problem.

Normally you don't always have to reinstall visual studio when something goes wrong because it takes a lot of time to reinstall again. From your question you skipped/cancel that feature, the first thing to do is go to the control panel and double click on visual studio under programs to Modify the software and enable those features.
In the case, visual studio was working properly before but due to some updates it stopped, go to control panel right click the visual studio version you have under programs to repair.
If the above doesn't work try to reinstall it again. I hope this helps.

Windows 8.1 Apps not Compiling

Recently, I needed to refresh my Windows 8.1 PC, and now that I have finally finished getting all of my programs reinstalled and everything is back to normal, I am ready to finish work on my Windows 8.1 app, but I am having an issue with compiling my apps. Every time I try to compile, I get the following error.
Now normally when I need to refresh my developer licesnse, Visual Studio tells me, but this time I didn't get any prompt at all, and that is the error that I got when trying to compile. How can I fix this? I am installing updates for Visual STudio at the moment, and I am hoping that doing so will somehow magically fix the problem, but I am also aware that it probably won't.
EDIT: Now that I have updated, the message has been shortened to "Can't resolve Windows.metadata."
For some reason, even though the Windows 8.1 SDK is supposed to be installed with Visual Studio Ultimate 2013, it wasn't for me. I was able to find the Windows 8.1 SDK by Googling it, and it came up as the top result. I installed it, and suddenly all of my errors went away and Visual Studio started recognizing them as legitimate Windows 8.1 app code.

windows 8 - How to run XNA?

I have a windows 8 pc, I recently installed windows phone 7.1 sdk but it continously gave me the error that it couldn't install XNA 4.0 Refresh and MS VS 2010 Extensions for XNA. When I make a project of windows phone and run it it gives me this error:
Error 1 The target "GetCopyToOutputDirectoryContentProjectItems" does not exist in the project. PhoneApp2
Any suggestions/solutions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks :)
If you are running visual studio 2010 on Windows 8, then following the steps here should work:
http://www.demonixis.net/blog/installer-xna-4-0-sous-windows-8/
If possible you might want to uninstall what you have for xna and the windows phone sdk so far. (I'm not sure if it would work properly without doing so.)
Basically, it has three steps:
1)Go to xbox.com/en-US/LIVE/PC/DownloadClient
Start by pressing the download button on this page. I am not sure what the significance of downloading that client is, however, it did the trick when I installed it.
2)Then reinstalling xna on this page:
microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=23714
3)And this last step is to download Windows SDK 7.1 here:

System gets stuck while running windows phone emulator

I am developing an application for Windows Phone in Visual studio 2010 ultimate using wp7.1 SDK in Windows 7 32 bit and 3GB RAM. My system often gets stuck and then restarts sometimes when I run the application on wp7 Emulator (2 or 3 times an hour). Before restart it displays the message: "Display driver stopped responding and recovered" and leads to a blue screen displaying "some lines with Contact system admin".
I am not sure why, will need more details. Try installing the 7.1.1 update for the SDK, it is meant for low profile devices, but I am just hoping this will resolve your issues too.

Had the same problem. Just start your sdk installer. There will be a option of repair of deleat. I repaired my sdk first but it still did not work. I then deleted my sdk and reinstalled it. Worked like a charm.
But you must you know that I was not able to delete my sdk too. My antivirus was doing something wrong and stopping the uninstall of my sdk. So I had to delete my antivirus... than my sdk. Than reinstall the sdk, reinstall the antivirus.
It all worked great after.

Error launching emulator of the windows phone 7 Mango RC

I've been working with the Windows Phone SDK 7.0 for a long time on my computer. Now I installed the SDK 7.1 (RC) and for some reason I can't start the emulator. I'm getting this error:
Error: The saved-state file C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\XDE{4321-43-432-432-432343234}.dess is corrupt. Please delete the corrupted saved state file and then retry.
I tried suggestions from this article. But they didn't help. Also I tried reinstalling Windows Phone SDK.
Any thoughts how to fix it?
What I'd try:
Open a Windows Explorer window with the file shown.
Delete the file.
Launch the emulator.
Wait for the error message. If there is no error message and the emulator is working, congratulations!
Refresh the Windows Explorer window.
Is the appropriate .dess file restored into the folder? If so, then the file that is restoring the .dess file is corrupt. Reinstall the SDK until it works.
If this doesn't work, do this:
Figure out how your computer is different from the average developer's computer. Did you install some funky customization software? Did you mess up your registry?
Eliminate the differences that you can eliminate - e.g. undo any changes to the WP7 related area of your registry, find and eliminate any viruses {duh!}, kill any nonnecessary background apps like volume managers or printer software, and redownload the installer for the SDK {sometimes the installers are corrupt.}
Install it as a different user. This is the simple equivalent of some of the above steps.
Remember:
The SDK is still RC, so there may be some bugs.
After installing the SDK for the 500th time, it may be time to try something different.
Always install the x64 version on an x64 PC and the x86 version on an x86 PC.
