How would I update Windows for versions 2004 and above? - windows

I am trying to run VMWare and the website states to disable Hyper-V (which I did), but then at the bottom it said versions 1909 of Windows 10 and earlier cannot run VMWare at all, and I am at version 1909. How do I update my Windows 10 version to be the latest? (and will it corrupt/delete my files?)
Thanks!

Update or Fix Windows 10 Lite

I have a problem I need help with. Thanks for everyone's interest.
My computer is using windows pro lite version shared on the online community "Windows 10 Pro 1909 (19H2) Build 18363.476 (Lite Edition) x64 - Nov 2019". It has removed many features. I am needing to re-enable Telnet feature in WINdows Features. But it has been completely removed.
Can someone help me to add Telnet back or is it possible to update windows to full version without reinstalling WINdows.

Is it possible to try Microsoft Accessibility MSAA in Windows 10?

We are in need to try out an issue that our application becomes slow when MSAA installed.
The host OS has'nt been specified.
When I try to install MSAA 2.0, it says that the version is not supported in my system.
Is it possible to try out the same in my local system which has Windows 10 pro?
MSAA can run in Windows 10 but not the version you already tested (2.0). You need the version 3.0 that is the one available for Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8.8.1 and 10:

Not able to log back into my Windows machine after Hyper-v installation

I have a Windows 10 machine. Recently I have installed Hyper-V 2016 server on my machine. From then whenever I start my system I only see a blue screen with various commands. I do not see any other thing other than that. Now how can I go back to my normal Windows machine?
See this image for reference:
you had Windows 10 installed on your machine now you have Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2016.
I assume you downloaded an ISO and installed that one. Whereas within Windows 10 you only have to activated a feature called Hyper-V.
Grap your latest Backups and install Windows 10 back onto your machine.

What is the latest version of jdk for Windows XP 32bit SP3?

I want to update JDK for NetBeans 7.1 and tried JDK 8u65 for windows i586 but a message box appears warning me about the old OS not being supported anymore.
The PC is not mine, is from the job and they don't want to update the OS.

Java 7 is the latest version that can run on XP, but it is not supported by Sun
Note: As of April 8, 2014 Microsoft stopped supporting Windows XP and therefore it is no longer an officially supported platform. Users may still continue to use Java 7 updates on Windows XP at their own risk

Which version of Windows 7 should I install on my development PC?

I am a .net and java deloper. I have an MSDN subscription with access to all editions of the Windows 7 operating system. I am going with a 64 bit installation. Which edition of Windows 7 should I install on my development PC: Professional, Ultimate, Enterprise, Enterprise N, etc.? Thanks in advance.
Put Ultimate on the box and run the others in virtual machines.
If you have access to all versions, I see no reason not to install Ultimate.
As long as your tools run on the OS it shouldn't matter
(btw: I'm running ultimate and it's working out fine)
I think you should use Vista, or even XP for developing your .Net Apps
the reason is your apps have to be backward compatible.
Remember most users still use XP.
And you cant sell your app to an XP user even if your app is very clever, because they cant install it.
And at last .Net is Platform independ , you can use it on which ever windows version you want. (even for Linux)
(excluded windows 3, 98)
