After scouring the internet, my own Pixel phone, and at least one app that uses face unlock, I have seen this icon used as a symbol for face unlock functionality. However I have not found a downloadable image to use for mockup purposes, either in Material Design UI kits or any other official source.
Android face unlock
Is this a standard Android icon? Where can I download a legit SVG or PNG?

I'm tried to submit my first Mac App Store app (I already have a few iOS ones), but I'm having some problems with the app icon.
On iOS, the icon needs to be a square without transparency and the OS will do its magic to make it look like it should.
On the other hand, on Mac, icons are not square, so I submitted an app with with an icon in all the right sizes (all pngs with some alpha).
Unfortunately, the preview seems to have replaced the semi-transparent areas with black pixels. See this screenshot.
In the screenshot, you can see that app icon in "included assets" is fine (it's a bit blurry, I think because it's scaling down a high-res image), but the App Store Icon is ugly.
What am I supposed to do about this? Will the icon actually look like that on the Mac App Store?
I decided to just try and publish the app. It's now in the app store and the icon looks fine with the right transparency.
I wonder if this bug is just a sign of Apple paying less attention to details for the Mac App Store compared to the iOS one!
i want add a 360 degree viewer in my app.The panormic image format of the object is available(generated using google street view).
I just need a viewer to display 360 degree images.
Here are four open source viewers to consider, not in any order of priority: A-Frame, the leading open source project for WebVR, backed by Mozilla, excellent for education projects. Google VR View, works especially well on Daydream and Cardboard. React VR, backed by Facebook and optimized for Facebook apps, it's WebVR API compliant, and works with Carmel Developer Preview browser from Oculus. Photo Sphere Viewer, stable, has been around for a while, most viewer controls. More details here: http://lists.theta360.guide/t/4-top-free-360-image-viewers-for-developers/1391?u=jcasman
Just getting into Windows Phone 8.1 development.
I quite like it but I am struggling getting accurate development info.
I am working with the Page.BottomAppBar.
I want to use an png image I have created as one of the buttons.
Does this image I created have to be:
A certain size
A certain format
A certain choice of colors i.e. i can use multiple colors and not just black and white
I am looking to create a 'Login' button you see.
thanks
Please, check the official Microsoft guidelines for app bars for Windows store and guidelines for windows phone. Guidelines cover icons, sizes and formats. It's better to follow them in designing visual style of your app.
I have made an application which displays Images and i have implemented pinch zooing, translating using Silverlight for Windows Phone Toolkit, GestureService it works perfect. but when am zooming the image or dragging the image it is not the image border/ boundaries. :(

I use the same for my app's photo viewer
I am familiar with the standard application icon images that come with the Windows Phone sdk, but I would like to use some of these images as demonstrated on the standard start screen, with the 173x173 dimensions for the application tiles. I've tried resizing these, but they are so blurry they aren't worth using. Is there a place to download the same (or similiar) images that come with SDK except in a larger size?
Also have a look at the Icons8 icon pack, they only ask for a link to their site or $199 without a link
Have a look at Metro Studio by Syncfusion. I use it in all my applications and its free.
