I have made a wordpress theme with understrap and I have uploaded on a webhost and it works fine.
The issue is that I wanted to make some changes so I edit my scss file localy and when I uploaded it the changes weren't applied. Am I suppose to upload any other file in order to work?
Thank you in advance
I don't know if this will help anyone but in order to update website's scss on host you simply copy the css file which usually is in the css folder and you just upload it to the same folder.
The SCSS needs to be compiled into - and replace the existing - CSS files enqueued by your theme. To do this you can either, install a plugin that does that, or have it done by setting up css pre-processing in your local IDE/environment.
clear cache of your browser and close recent tab and try again. it just browser runnung with previous cache.

I am new to laravel homestead. I am using a windows 10 for my learning and able to run npm watch-poll. The app.scss is compiled successfully and the app.css file is updated in the public directory but, it wouldn't display in my browser. I have included the CSS script in my blade template. Only when I restart my machine then the css is displayed. Any one can help please.
I do appreciate.
This is how i solved this problem in my own project:
delete your link tag containing href="app.css"
save file
paste the link tag again
save file
If the above doesn't work, try pressing ctrl+f5 to clear browser cache.

How is it with the img/p folder in Prestashop 1.6.0.9? Is it possible fully to clean it? Cause this folder went to big now, and FTP is almost full now, i need space. For example when i renamed it on FTP, all images on the website worked, and prestashop created automaticaly one new img/p folder, and all seems that works right (also when the initial img/p was out after renaming). Thanks in advance.
when you delete the folder you may see the images working, its from smarty cache, once you clear the smarty cache, presta default (not found) image will be shown.
I'm working on Magento installation that is causing me frustration.
I CAN find what seems to be the correct page.xml file loading the theme's Javascript (i.e prototype, scriptaculous, etc) in the header, but editing this file and removing scripts does not do ANYTHING for me. When I try and remove/add any new scripts, nothing happens.
Maybe a cache issue? But I have deleted all files from the cache folder. I also tried to find the "Cache Management" menu in Admin, but there is not one there.
I'm 99% confident that I have looked in all of the folders that would call all Javascript.
I am new to Magento, so maybe I've missed something completely.
Any suggestions on where I could find where the basic scripts would be loading from?
I do not know if I got it right. But what you want to know is the directory where the file .js is located, correct?
Try looking in: yourdomain/skin/frontend/yourtheme/default/js/
or: yourdomain/skin/frontend/default/yourtheme/js/
Page.xml is the correct file you need to modify. If not a caching issue, the only other thing I can think of is you have a theme installed but trying to modify the default(base) page.xml.
I don't know why my filewatcher doesn't transpile certain scss files. I wanted to rename files that already existed to use them as partials. That worked fine for most of them but i couldn't rename all of them. When I tried to use "refactor->rename" there was a warning that the files would be used by another script but that was definitly not the case. I was not able to rename them in phpStorm so i renamed them in the directory manually. That worked but now no css files are created anymore. I tried to synchronize but that didn't help. My settings seems to be correct (see picture). Anyone had the same problem before and knows the solution?
When "Track only root files" option is on, the content of partials is merged into a single .css files when transpiling, so that a single css is generated instead of creating a separate css for each partial
When I make a change to “app/design/adminhtml/default/default/template/page/head.phtml” or other files in the adminhtml folders, the changes I make have no effect on the site. The site seems to be using old versions of my files but I have no idea where it is getting them from. I have deleted the cache multiple times and logged in/out of admin. I’ve also managed to turn on path hints in the admin panel and can see that the correct files are being used but the code in the files is incorrect. If I rename the file to _head.phtml then as you'd expect, the styling, js and meta tags etc go missing but when I make a simple edit to that same file the change is not reflected.
I recently upgraded from 1.6.2 to 1.7 - Am I missing something?
