Let's say I am using GParted iso for cloning an X disk to Y disk. Can X disk be damaged e.g if power would go off during cloning?

There is always a chance of damage to a disk if the power abruptly goes off. Make sure to keep power to the machine while copying/moving!

I have a 2017 model of Macbook Pro 13-inch with 8 Gigs of RAM. I want to have some "extra" memory by using swap, because I want to create some virtual machines that need lots of memory. I have read that swap file in macOS is only 1 GB. Can I extend the swap file as much as I want ?
The Swapfiles under /private/var/vm are system managed.

I do not have enough space on my disk, I would like to know if I can delete the Temp files of the Windows directory>Temp>tmp0000*
Yes, anything in that temp directory is safe to delete.
All they are created for is to temporarily contain information and is not required to have on your hard-drive constantly.

My harddrive is approaching capacity and I'd like to find all the large folders on the drive to delete them manually. I searched for a way to do this and a lot of 3rd party utilities came up, but I was surprised I couldn't find a native win7 way of doing it. I don't have to do this often so I'd prefer not to install a tool specifically for this. I just need a listing of all folders that exceed a certain size.

I know that every account uses some space, but beside that, is it slowing down computer in some other way?
I have windows 7.
The only way it would impact performance (other than the disk space as you mentioned) is if more than one user is logged on to the machine at the same time, like when a "Switch User" is done, which pushes all User A's running processes (using RAM and CPU) to the background essentially so the new User B can then log on.

I foolishly ran the following code
file.remove(list.files())
Is there any way of retrieving the deleted files. I am working in windows XP + R 2.15.0
You need to get a NTFS (or FAT32, though unlikely) file recovery software. Restoration and Undelete Plus are a few of them
