Google Sheets Stuck On "Working" and Formulas working strangely - macos

Any sheet I open keeps showing the "Working" green notification at the top of the window, and the cells don't autopopulate when I start typing a formula. I.e. when I start typing "=ifer" it shoud automatically show the "iferror" option. However, the formual works once I fully type it.
This is happening in Safari. I already tried to restart my mac in safe mod and then restart normally, reboot it normally, clean history, reload the page several times, but no luck. It's been going on for days now.
OS: OSX El Capitan 10.11.6
Have you ever seen this?

Client had been having this exact issue for the past week, and in finding a solution in the past hour, I hope this helps you.
They were also on OSX El Capitan 10.11.6, and though I've tried to clear the working error in Safari unsuccessfully, the computer in question was doing the same on Chrome, and the following solution worked to access the spreadsheet correctly again on Chrome.
In Chrome:
Step 1: Tap the Chrome menu icon and select Settings.
Step 2: Scroll to the 'Privacy and security section' and select 'Clear browsing data.'
Step 3: Go to the Advanced tab and check only the 'Hosted app data' box. Finally, tap the Clear data button to proceed.
Various tips are outlined at https://www.guidingtech.com/fix-google-sheets-not-loading-chrome/ if the above doesn't work for you. The above solution which worked for me was option 2 on that page.

XCode does not open at all on Mac Mini

I bought an M1 Mac Mini recently and tried to use XCode on it, but it does not open at all.
I tried re-install it and delete ~/Library/Developer directory, it seems nothing works.
This is my first Mac device and if I give more detail about what I mean by 'does not open at all' - it does nothing even if I double click the XCode from Applications directory or the bar at the bottom that has other installed applications showing on it(sorry, I don't know how this is called).
I can see the little grey dot under the icon which means it is running somehow, but nothing comes up on the screen. Then the grey dot goes away after few minutes with nothing happening.
How do I resolve this problem?
Making sure that the application itself is in the right place would be my first approach. Did you download Xcode from the App Store?
Here’s a link to someone with the same issue asking on the Apple developers forum
https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/101265
Go to applications folder, right click, "get info" and then “Open using Rosetta”. Check the box.

Magic Mouse behaves erratically in PhpStorm 2016 under macOS Sierra

Since upgrading to Sierra, clicking any text within PhpStorm 2016.2.1 results in a random block of text being selected and clicking within that moves the text around randomly instead of deselecting the text block.
Worked without a problem in El Capitan.
This has made PhpStorm into an extremely frustrating and productivity killing experience.
Any idea how to fix this?
Please see the latest EAP build here (I haven't yet tried it myself): https://blog.jetbrains.com/phpstorm/2016/10/phpstorm-2016-3-eap-163-5644/
Issue is tracked as https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-161617. Please check if the problem persists in the custom JDK build: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-161617#comment=27-1642308
I found that turning off the "three finger drag" feature dramatically reduced this issue.
Follow the instructions in Apple's support docs for this.
It seems that under Sierra the Magic Mouse has become so sensitive that even touching the edge of the mouse with my other fingers can be misinterpreted as a three finger drag attempt.
Still happens intermittently, so I'm hoping some update to the driver by Apple or the PHPStorm JDK will get rid of any lingering occurrences. For now, this is the best solution I've found thus far.

XCode won't update from App Store

This night I've update my iPhone which I use to test my applications but that caused a problem of "Developer Disk Image", which, as I understood, basically means that Apple wants me to update my Xcode.
However, when I try to do so from "updates" tab in App Store, after I press "update" button, it just simply goes to "waiting" and then back to no progress at all. It does not update after that and the icon of the app in Launcher becomes grey, has a progress bar below it and stays at 0bytes.
I tried to delete the app and download it from the App Store again, but it all ends with Xcode.appdownload file being downloaded and that's it. Even if I try to launch that file (I know it's dumb, but should have tried) nothing happens. How do I get my App Store to work again?
Ok, I solved the issue - even though it does not mention System Updates anywhere, all I had to do is to update OS first. C'mon, Apple inc. get your scheiße together, just bugging away is not an answer!
The Mac App Store is broken beyond repair. You can try to reload the update page using CMD-R. That helps sometimes. In addition, Launchpad normally shows the progress correctly.
You can also update from Terminal.app using the command
softwareupdate -l
Good luck!

Xcode 5 on Mountain Lion 10.8.5 won't load

Since I installed the Xcode 5 from the App Store I can't start Xcode.
I click on the Xcode icon, then icon bounce 1 time then nothing.
The program doesn't respond...
I tried to uninstall and reinstall Xcode but I got the same problem.
I think the best way is to completely uninstall XCode and its accompanying utilities.
You can follow this link for that.
I am plagued by this problem. Ever since I updated to XCode 5 I have had nothing but trouble. When I open it it does nothing but it does say Application Not Responding when you right-click the icon in the tray.
Once I walked away and hours later when I came back it was open. So I tried it again and waited. around 30 minutes later, it opened. I've figured out that if you wait long enough, eventually it opens.
I know this is only a temporary, partial solution, but it may be all you have until the release Mavericks. I have read in searching for a solution that XCode 5 works in 10.9 but developers struggle using it on 10.8.5 <----- specifically 5!
I just installed the 10.8.5 supplemental 1.0 update and it didn't change anything for me.
Try to open the program and see if letting it sit for a while maybe even overnight, and see if it opens like mine. If so, maybe someone can help with that extra information.
Well i have the exact same problem that you are facing. This is how you can solve it:
First of all just uninstall the current version of Xcode from your Mac completely. You can delete it from the Applications. After that you will still see the Xcode icon in the LaunchPad and i don't know why. You have to delete it from the LaunchPad too. Just by clicking and holding until the cross button appears and then press the cross button to delete.
Once this is done, don't download it from the App Store. Instead download from a direct link. Go to this LINK and find the Xcode and download the DMG file. Then you can install it and you will have no problem.
You can either waste your time troubleshooting the problem or you can just do what i told you to save some time. The choice is yours!
Hope this helps!

Cannot enable Mac OSX Lion Location Services with Safari

I just hit a frustrating problem while debugging that I am hoping that someone else has encountered...and solved. I am troubleshooting an app that uses the javascript Geolocation app on OS X Lion. I have been using Safari and everything was working fine.
After a reboot, Safari reported that access to Geolocation services was denied. In the Safari preferences, under privacy, the option to "Limit Website Access to Location Services" the setting is indeed set to "Deny without prompting".
The problem is that I cannot seem to enable this setting. According the Apple doc, you need to first enable location services for the application in the System Settings. This is under Security and Privacy -> Privacy. I have seen cases where this is empty and Safari simply doesn't show up. Finally, after another reboot, Safari.app actually showed up here. Unfortunately, after enabling Safari here, I still could not enable location services in the Safari settings. It is almost like the settings are out of sync with each other.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
I just ran into the same issue but found a solution on a support forum.
Solution 1:
Cycling "Set timezone automatically using current location" in the Date & Time > Time Zone preference pane fixed my issue. It's possible that a legacy preference left over from my Snow Leopard install was causing a problem there.
Solution 2:
For me, I had to quit the iPhone simulator to toggle the option on.
The second solution did the trick, but maybe only because I tried the first one, uh, first.
