A friend of mine has uninstalled Outlook 2007. It wasn't working for her but she kept it as an E-mail repository, a POP3 E-mail nonetheless that was going back years. The hosting guys are not keeping them.
I understand there is a chance to recover them by locating the Profile file/folders somewhere but I am not finding any concrete information out there.
I am not with her now so I can't give you the specifics but asking in advance in case someone can help.
The specs are:
Outlook 2007
Windows 10
Any help will be highly appreciated.

I installed Office 2019 and the E-mails were there. It turns out that uninstalling Office doesn't remove the PST files, which I couldn't find before (am a Mac user and didn't know the folder was hidden).
Anyhow, I hope this helps someone some day.

I have a problem with my game titled Beach Head 2002.
So, previously, I've downloaded the original game on Internet Archive and I tried to play it when I use the compatibility mode (Windows 98 / Windows Me), but it then didn't work. I tried to use the Beach Head 2002 patch, but it still doesn't work. Does anyone have gotten idea to fix that problem?
Thanks
Best wishes

A few months ago I decided to set junk email filtering to the lowest available level possible. I can't recall whether I did this on the web or desktop (currently running Outlook for Mac 16.69.1). Fast forward to today and I get so much spam on my inbox that I want to change that setting again. However, I simply can't find the settings on either app anymore. I have of course googled and stacked the hell out of this question, but to no avail. Posts that are actually useful mention options that simply don't show up in my case.
Can someone help me out of junk hell?
This is where I'm pretty sure these options used to be on both apps, but now there's only blacklists or whitelists (excuse the large images; couldn't find a better size/readability compromise):

Does anyone know what this Outlook 2013 icon means? My Google skills are failing me this morning
I found this
Although I do not use Outlook 2013, this other forum appears to say that the icon is for drafts/edited emails in the "outbox". For some reason, it prevents you from sending that email, and disabling add-ins should fix it (they mention iCloud was the add-in which created the issue in that case).
By the way, I searched "outlook 2013 paper and pencil icon" haha.

I installed a Windows XP VM on my system with genuine Windows 7. But when I start my VM, the windows XP shows a popup with message :
"u may be a victim of software counterfeiting"
Is this a concern ? I mean, can it cause a legal problem for me ?
I am not asking about the hacks to remove this message but about if it may lead to some legal issue ?
I also know that one should only use a genuine Window provided by microsoft directly. What I am doing is for study purpose only.
Thanks in aadvance !!!
Sorry if asked at wrong place/forum (confused where to ask) !!!
That message will come if the xp version you are running is likely to be a cracked version. It is, of course not legal to use cracked software, and yes, it could cause a legal problem for you, as much as it could for anyone using a cracked version of windows.
Depending on what you are doing for 'study purpose', there might be other solutions. But else, if you don't want to use counterfeit software, go buy XP.

Is it possible to employ Business Contact Manager 2007 without running Outlook in Cached mode?
According to all the reasearch I have done this is a prerequisite, and certainly upon installing and testing it seems to be the case, but keeping local copies of inboxes is simply too large a security hole for us, I find it difficult to believe that this is a requirement!
Thanks in advance for your responses!
The answer on the most basic level here is No.
But the security hole created by storing copies of Mailboxes on workstations can be worked around, it is as simple as moving the local mailbox storage file (.ost file) to a secure server then re wiring outlook to find it in its new location.
Hope this helps someone!
