visual studio namespace class recognition error - visual-studio

A class in "Assembly - CSharp" is not recognized or used by a class in another namespace.
The error I'm getting now is:
Unity Editor: The type or namespace name 'LogitechGSDK' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
IDE: Namespace does not correspond to file location
How do I set it up?

have you setup the dependencies/references for the class not inside the "Assembly - CSharp"? If so you should add Assembly - CSharp to the depencies/references of the Assembly you want to use it in. Here is a link that could help you fix your Problem.

Rg.Plugins.Popup Crashes on closing popup only in UWP

I'm using Rg.Plugins.Popup for a while but I can't get it working anymore on UWP for new projects.
While its working perfectly in Android, I get this error in UWP :
Exception thrown: 'System.NullReferenceException' in Rg.Plugins.Popup.UWP.dll
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Rg.Plugins.Popup.UWP.dll!Rg.Plugins.Popup.Windows.Renderers.PopupPageRenderer.UpdateElementSize() Line 124
I made a small test repo here.
I use Rg.plugins.popup 1.1.5.188, Xamarin 5.0.0.2012 and the targeted plaform in UWP is 10.0.19041.
Can anyone help me and/or check if you get the same behavior ?
I also notice that with Rg.plugins.popup version 2.0.0.12, I get another error :
Error CS0234 The type or namespace name 'Popup' does not exist in the namespace 'Rg.Plugins.Popup' (are you missing an assembly reference?)
Here is my initialisation code in UWP, just as describe in the WIKI:
What a waste of time ...
https://github.com/rotorgames/Rg.Plugins.Popup/issues/527
The minimum target has to be set to 10.0.17763 or higher. Not only the target version. That was the trick.

Mapbox Navigation Xamarin Bindings - AAR errors "does not implement interface IComparator.Compare"

I have created all my .gradle files (.jar and .aar) through Android Studio.
The .jar files compile to .dll files through the android bindings in Xamarin without any issues - and I can expand them in object explorer Visual Studio when including them as references.
My problem is with the .aar files.
I have the mapbox-android-core-1.4.0.aar file from the gradle in my Jars folder in Visual Studio.
The build action is set to "LibraryProjectZip" and under references I have included Xamarin.Android.Support.v7.AppCompat which then included all other android support dependencies.
The Android Compile version is Android 9.0
Android class parser: class-parse
Android codegen target: XAJavaInterop1
When I build i get the following error:
Error CS0535 'FileUtils.LastModifiedComparator' does not implement interface member 'IComparator.Compare(Object, Object)'
The official Xamarin troublehsooting says I must add the managed return to metadata which I did as follows:
<attr path="/api/package[#name='com.mapbox.android.core']/class[#name='FileUtils']/method[#name='FileUtils.LastModifiedComparator']" name="managedReturn">java.lang.Object</attr>
With this added it still has exactly the same error, so I am not sure where I am going wrong.
Do I need to add a partial class to Additions or is the attr> above sufficient - just using the wrong information inside it, or am I missing what the error is in the first place?
Error CS0535 'FileUtils.LastModifiedComparator' does not implement interface member 'IComparator.Compare(Object, Object)'
To fix this issue, try to add a partial class declaration for 'LastModifiedComparator' class and explicitly implement IComparator.Compare(Object, Object):
public partial class DeviceService
{
public void Compare(object a, object b)
{
...
}
}
In your case, the method name in <attr ...> tag should be Compare instead of the 'LastModifiedComparator' method.

Xamarin Android Binding Library Custom Namespace Not Recognized

I am creating a Xamarin Android binding library for an existing JAR that contains a single class and following the Xamarin binding library documentation, I am able to successfully rename the namespace using:
<attr path="/api/package[#name='com.company.blah']" name="managedName">Company.Blah</attr>
I also confirmed the namespace is changed in the generated class in the 'obj/Debug' folder:
namespace Company.Blah {
// Metadata.xml XPath class reference: path="/api/package[#name='com.company.blah']/class[#name='NativeClass']"
[global::Android.Runtime.Register ("com/sprylab/android/widget/TextureVideoView", DoNotGenerateAcw=true)]
public partial class NativeClass
{
...
}
}
I face two problems:
I am unable to reference NativeClass from a sample Android project. It's like to doesn't see the namespace at all. The binding project built successfully without errors.
If I remove the package namespace rename setting, it also builds successfully and I am then able to reference it in my sample project but it requires that I fully qualify the class name anywhere it is used:
private com.company.blah.NativeClass nativeClass;
I'm hoping if I can fix #1, then #2 will not show up again. If so, I'm also curious how you prevent fully qualified class names from showing up?
Going into the project settings of the binding library project and clearing the box to the right of the assembly name seemed to do the trick. Looking inside the csproj directly, it is the root namespace.

Export to Excel with grouping and style

I have to export data to excel. In Excel sheet i have to keep some styling and grouping functionality. i have tried a POC with EPPlus.dll but getting an error

I tried it in my vs 2010 frame work 4.

Thanks in advance.

Undefined namespace windows phone 7

I write this for chat app in WP7, and I need to put it on project
<ResourceDictionary xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation"
xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml"
xmlns:Controls="clr-namespace:Chat.Controls">
and I get this error
Error 7 Undefined CLR namespace. The 'clr-namespace' URI refers to a namespace 'Chat.Controls' that is not included in the assembly. C:\Users\Amin\Documents\Visual Studio 2010\Projects\Chat\Chat\WP7_Chat\Control.xaml 4 36 Chat
Need I to add an assembly or what??
Doing xmlns:Controls="clr-namespace:Chat.Controls" means that you're using a namespace local to the current assembly (in the same project as that piece of XAML), but the compiler says that it doesn't exist.
So either you have the wrong namespace, or you're missing the assembly after the namespace (something like xmlns:Controls="clr-namespace:Chat.Controls;assembly=Chat.Controls"
