I'm using Laravel 8 on Heroku and keep getting 404 errors for some fonts. This just started happening earlier today but I haven't changed any of my code in several days.
This is a sample of what I'm seeing from laravel's error handler:

I searched my entire directory for EXTENSION_BASE_URL and it doesn't exist anywhere in my code.
The user id's associated with these errors are not unique and it seems to be happening to multiple people. It's the same three font files as above each time.
My best guess is there's some kind of plugin people have installed that's trying to use a custom font that doesn't exist. I can't find any reference to EXTENSION_BASE_URL when I do searches online, so I can't figure out where it's actually coming from.
The only custom fonts I use are an import for Raleway from the Google Fonts API. I have jQuery 2.2.4, Bootstrap 3.3.7 and FontAwesome 5.4.1 which might also be including fonts with their CSS. Aside from the Raleway include, the versions for the other CSS files haven't changed in a while.
Since it doesn't seem to be affecting everyone and I can't track down what these font files are, my plan is to simply exclude these font files from showing up in my logs. I'd love to know what caused this though so I can take any other action if necessary
We had this same problem with some of our users and we tracked it down to a browser extension called ProWriting Aid Grammar Checker which is for the website https://prowritingaid.com/.
In our case, not only was it creating the errors you mention with fonts, it also caused some JavaScript to execute improperly.
This extension is available on Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. We had users across all these browsers have the same problem. It is clear that the problem code is shared across all these browser extensions' code base.
Having users uninstall that extension solved our issues.

I tested this with 2sic DNN Instant Bootstrap 4 theme and it is working just fine.
However, on this site I am using other DNN Theme ("Professional" Theme from DNNVista, Bootstrap 3, link; https://store.dnnsoftware.com/home/product-details/professional-15-colors-mega-menu-bootstrap-responsive-dnn-6x-7x-8x-dnn-9x) and this error occurred every time I click on a single photo.
I am aware that this Theme is full of bugs and I probably wasted 99$ for it, but would like to find out what is wrong and try to fix it in this particular Theme.
But - I don't know where to start, because there is no errors in Admin Log.
Any similar situations or ideas, please?

UPDATE:
I found that, from some reason, hyperlinks for pictures are parsed without question mark after filename, but can't find a reason for such behaviour because everything is correct in app template.
Just a guess - probably you have some JS replacing other JS - like Fancybox being loaded 2x in different versions. Best check the Chrome-Network to verify.
I have recently installed wordpress on my Windows 7 machine for use with IIS7.5 and SQL Server 2008. The install went in with no issues and everything fired up correctly but I have some really major issues.
1.) In my dashboard when clicking on Posts>All Posts, my list of posts is empty and yet the links at the top (All, Published, Drafts) all show as having counts against them. I can browse to these post by entering the URL in directly to the browser but can't see them through the dashboard. The posts don't show up through the search either. This is also the same behavior for media libs too. It says the files are there but can be seen in the list.
2.) When trying to upload images I have two issues. The first is that when I try to upload an image with default settings from install I was getting a message like "Missing a temporary folder". I know there are a load of posts on this but none of the fixes have worked. I used the PHP Info file to get the default directory which was "C:\windows\temp". So I tried to override it in the PHPconfig using the upload_tmp_dir directory but it didn't change. So I changed the permission on the folder to allow "IUSR" and IIS users read and wright access but now I get the message "An error occurred in the upload". The weird thing is when I look in the wp-content/uploads folder, some of my images are there but can't be seen through the dashboard.
Can anyone help. I have search for hours trying to find resolutions but nothing works.

I'm encountering a really frustrating problem with WordPress and I hope someone can help. Images are uploading to WordPress correctly (they are in the library) but once a file is uploaded there is simply a blank screen. Closing and reopening the "Add an Image" window, I still cannot add them to posts unless I enter the full URL because the "Media Library" tab simply doesn't show anything (see below - interface shows there are 33 images and 4 tabbed pages, but none of them are displayed.
I've about reached the end of my rope trying to fix this problem. Searched and searched and can find no answer. Some people had similar problems, and I tried all of their posted solutions, including:
Uninstalled all plugins
Nuked and reinstalled all wordpress files
Checked browser versions (occurring in Chrome 7.0.5 and FireFox 3.2)
No JavaScript errors found (used Firebug and Chrome's JS panel)
Checked domain name in Settings for improper capitalization
Checked image URL to make sure there was no gibberish, and there isn't
Does anyone have any suggestions (I'm running version 3.0.2 on Apache)? I'd be forever in your debt. Thank you!

Who is your web host? How much php memory are you allocated? Is GD library for php installed?
It looks like IE7 doesn't reload the latest version of my stylesheet each time I upload a new version on the server.
This is annoying as I am debugging my .css file to make it work on IE...
Tried to empty the browser cache but still not working.

Ctrl-F5 - forcible way to reload in IE
Include your version number in the file name. myfile_v1234.css
When testing, every time you do an update you can just wite "stylesheet.css?r=98123"
As long as the query string is different, it'll be downloaded again.
If you need, you can use javascript to append Math.random(), to get the random number. Not required on production though, when updates would be stable.
2 Questions:
Does IE eventually load with the newer stylesheet?
How are you saving the changes to the server (SSH, Web Interface, etc.)?
I ask because I ran into an issue with a web-based file management system a while back where one browser would show the CSS just fine, the other wouldn't, and we noticed the issue of which browser played nicely depended on which browser we used to upload the CSS.
The reason turned out to be that IE gave the CSS file a different MIME type than Firefox. If you continue to notice the issue even when you've cleared the cache, check the MIME type of the file using Firefox by going to Tools > Page Info.
Also, if it is simply a caching issue, consider turning caching off in IE. I believe this should be an Advanced Option under Internet Options.
Also, you may want to try creating a special developer environment for IE (if it comes down to it.) Perhaps have another machine with IE7 and no caching and any other features turned off (A kiosk mode, perhaps), and then previewing the page on that machine.

I did manage to solve my problem with the "stupid" Ctrl+F5, and by changing the Internet Parameters of Windows to reload content every new visit.
We have run numerous tests now and it has now come down to either a DNN-SWFObject loading multiple swf files on a page or Firefox bug.
Here's the outcome we need:
Two swf files on one page:
Header.swf: which holds the nav and some bling animation.
Map.swf: which has different provinces of the country highlighted on rollover. The active province is highlighted by reading the URL via Javascript and then loaded into the Map.swf via FlashVars.
In all of our other tests in other browsers, the scenario works very well but in Firefox 3.5.3 The swf files refuse to show.
We have stripped this test down to the bare minimum, one html page scenario and embedding it the same way using SWFObject 2.2 and this works in Firefox. When it is uploaded in DNN, the swf files refuse to show.
Is there anything anyone can think of?

My first thought would be the way dnn renames element ids - and are you using client ids
If you could post some code it might help to look at it or a url to look at
