odoo.sh ver. 14 WKHTMLTOPDF 0.12.25: Unable to call host printing service (HTTPError). How to circumvent this? - wkhtmltopdf

We're using odoo.sh platform with odoo14. The installed wkhtmltopdf is wkhtmltopdf_paas_wrapper 0.12.5, we can't upgrade to 0.12.6 because the access is very limited we cant use 'sudo' to apt-install. To temporarily solve this, we decided to use the 0.12.5 version. But it returns "Unable to call host printing service (HTTPError)" even with the right arguments. I've already tried it with the staging and production server, but still the same result. The ticket I've sent hasn't been replied to yet. This is so frustrating, I'm going bonkers...please help.
here's a screenshot:
ps: unrecognized argument error was intentional so I can display the available args. I've also crossed out the project domain. Thank you

Apparently, to properly execute the package, it should not have been "wkhtmltopdf" but instead "wkhtmltopdf.bin". I've overridden the ir_actions_report.py to change the package name. Here's the snippet of the original source code:
They shouldve known better, its a paid platform.

Elrond Dapp Tutorial not up to date?

Hello I was following this tutorial: https://docs.elrond.com/developers/tutorials/your-first-dapp/
With the help of: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdkgvlK3rb8
But I think there is some difference between the dApp repository and the tutorial, first the src/config.devnet.tsx disappeared we now have an src/config.tsx already present (not a big deal).
I'm blocked when I try to do the ping, in the console I got the error Sender not allowed with value erd1qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq6gq4hu.
So my guess is that I've done something wrong deploying the contract, but I tried to redeploy other contracts I always ended up with the same error.
I tried natively on my ubuntu 20.04, and then in a devcontainer using an Ubuntu 22.04 image.
I'm pretty new to Elrond, Crypto (and also Node) so I might be missing something.
Thanks for your help!
I've just completed the tutorial and I think that you put the wrong SC address in src/config.tsx. The address you provided is the SC that handles other SC deployments. You have to replace it with your SC's address generated after deployment.

Using maketorrent in libtorrent examples

So I am trying to build an application that uses libtorrent. However, before I start I would like to make sure that I have compiled the lib correctly and that I have a functioning environment for testing.
I am currently running a VM with opentracker and I try to connect using the example client in libtorrent.
First I start by creating a .torrent file using libtorrent (I am currently not sitting in front of a computer with libtorrent available so I might be remembering the exact commands a bit wrong):
maketorrent.exe dummy.txt -t "http://10.XXX.XXX.XXX/announce"
This gives me a .torrent file called a.torrent. Opening the file everything looks ok, the bencoding is correct and the announce address is there.
Next I try to add it to the example client hoping it starts to seed:
client_test.exe a.torrent
Everything starts up OK, but no tracker is found. Then if I press t to show tracker information I see an error (maybe not the exact phrasing):
Alert: {null} unsupported URL protocol
OK, so maybe something is wrong with how I built libtorrent. So I get the Halite client instead since that is also supposed to be build upon libtorret. But there I have the same problem.
So I have a look at the code and found where this error message is generated. The code is checking if I am supplying an address using the HTTP or HTTPS protocol, which I am. So could it be that I am not able to use a bare IP-address or am I doing something wrong?
I found the problem. It was not a problem with the IP address or the torrent itself. Instead it was a problem with caching.
The first time I added the torrent I used http:\XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX instead of http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX which didn't work. However whatever change i did to the torrent file after that did not stick. It was always falling back to that original file until I removed the .resume folder.

Unable to use activator on my Mac - get a timeout exception when I try and make an app from template

So I'm following this tutorial:
https://www.playframework.com/documentation/2.3.x/Installing
It all seems installed - i.e. all the commands work but when I try and call:
activator new my-first-app play-scala
I get the following:
Fetching the latest list of templates...
Could not fetch the updated list of templates. Using the local cache.
Check your proxy settings or increase the timeout. For more details see:
http://typesafe.com/activator/docs
OK, application "another-app" is being created using the "play-scala" template.

at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:744)
And nothing happens.
I just installed it on a PC in my house under the same network so I don't think my connection is the issue. I'm not using a proxy either..
Got any ideas? I've been trying to get this working for over a day now.
I'm on OSX Yosemite by the way.
I sometimes have timeouts too, especially while working in the university on some sloppy WLAN.
There are two types of activator, the usual light-weight one and the offline version. In the second, all repositories are present so the activator does not need to gather anything from the internet.
When you go to https://www.playframework.com/download ... look for the offline distribution (around 400MB) and install it like the normal activator.
If this solves your problem, there was something wrong with the activator trying to get something from a repository (you said that you can run the project but get server timeouts).
[EDIT]: You can also set the timeout to 30 seconds and see if this helps
activator -Dactivator.timeout=30s new "project name"

Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g web tier utilities installation

While installing Oracle fusion Middleware 11g web tier utilities at step 7 following error occurs and stops installation process.
Installation Failed. Prepare Session failed SEVERE:Values for the following variables could not be obtained from the command line or response file(s): MYORACLESUPPORT_USERNAME(MyOracleSupportUsername) Silent install cannot continue.
I could not figure out what is wrong , please help ...
The message suggests you're doing a silent install, so have you created/modified a response file as described in the documentation? The MYORACLESUPPORT_USERNAME is mentioned here, but its interaction with the other parameters isn't always obvious. There is more detail here.
Assuming you don't want to get security updates, you need to set DECLINE_SECURITY_UPDATES to TRUE (although I seem to recall having to supply the MSO credentials anyway, but not sure which version I saw that and it seemed like a bug). If you do want security updates then leave that as FALSE and set the MSO credentials to appropriate values.

Twilio script runs locally but not on server?

I've been using twilio's library just fine locally (mac os x with XAMPP), but when I upload it to an amazon ec2 instance, the ability to send sms messages breaks.
$sms = $client->account->sms_messages->create(
"xxx-xxx-xxxx", $users[pnumber], "Testing!");
(the x's are numbers)
The above code seems to be what breaks it. I have uploaded the twilio library to the correct directory. I have also tried enabling all permissions to see if it was a permission issue.
I'm rather inexperienced to running things on my own server. Any guidance, guesses, and tips would be appreciated!
edit: Clarification - by "breaks", I mean the rest of the page does not load. If I add "echo "Hi";", it will not be printed. However, echo-ing before the code above works.
The problem was that I had not installed cURL onto my server yet. It was not included in my php installation. Thanks to Kevin Burke's advice, I ran it in command line and realized that it was calling a non-existant function. Some googling led to me installing curl, which fixed the problem. Thanks Kevin!
