Gtest discover_tests failing in Github Actions: Process terminated due to timeout - macos

I am using google-test(gtest) with CMake and running the unit tests as GitHub ci jobs for Linux and Mac. The Linux jobs pass successfully. However, I am getting an error for the mac runner.
The error is

How do I fix the CI pipeline?

The problem is gtest_discover_tests(...) is taking too long and thus getting timed out. The obvious solution is to increase the timeout limit.
The line
gtest_discover_tests(splitwebp_tests)
can be replaced with
gtest_discover_tests(splitwebp_tests PROPERTIES TIMEOUT 600)

How do I include mkl_vsl modules for random number generators e.g. 'vsrnggaussian'? (Fortran)

I'm new to Fortran (gfortran on windows) and want to use the random number generator vsrnggaussian.
vsrnggaussian needs the Intel MKL VSL modules 'mkl_vsl_type' and 'mkl_vsl' which are provided in the mkl_vsl.f90 file. This file needs to be included to generate the module files 'mkl_vsl_type.mod' and 'mkl_vsl.mod' which are used to process the Fortran use clauses referencing to the VSL interface:

I tried multiple things to include the mkl_vsl.f90 file but none of them work:
I inserted the file into the project directory --> 793 errors occured (can't list all of them here in detail) such as:

I used the full path in the include statement: INCLUDE 'C:/Program Files (x86)/IntelSWTools/compilers_and_libraries_2016.1.146/windows/mkl/include/mkl_vsl.f90' --> Error: Can't open included file
I tried the -Idir compiler command: gfortran -I/Program Files (x86)/IntelSWTools/compilers_and_libraries_2016.1.146/windows/mkl/include/ -g -o incl_mkl.exe --> gfortran: error: Files: no such file or directory
I put this into the makefile: INCLUDES=-I. -I/Program Files (x86)/IntelSWTools/compilers_and_libraries_2016.1.146/windows/mkl/include/ --> Error: Can't open included file
How do I include the mkl_vsl.f90 file??

You'd need to USE both vsl_type and vsl modules. The reason is that the derived types in vsl are defined in vsl_type. MWE

You would need to pass the address to file mkl_vsl.f90 to ifort and the mkl flag.

For using any specific subroutine of MKL consult their website. There is also extensive examples that come with MKL. You may find it in C:/Program Files (x86)/IntelSWTools/compilers_and_libraries_2016.1.146/windows/mkl/examples or something like that.

Catkin_make on the velodyne drivers fails in the windows 10 environemnt

I am trying to install the ROS-Velodyne drivers(https://github.com/ros-drivers/velodyne) in windows to capture the point cloud from velodyne LiDAR but getting error while running catkin_make.
Since these drivers require pcap library, i installed WinPcap in my system and updated the cmake of velodyne driver to find the required headers and link the library.
But on running the cmake, i am getting error on "target_link_libraries" (image shown)

UPDATE: Resolved the above issue. It was related to target_link_libraries where we need to provide the "target" and not the "project". I updated the cmake by adding this line:
set(libpcap_LIBRARIES ${PCAP_LIBRARIES})
Now, the build fails at 59% with following error:

We (Azure Edge Robotics, who maintain ROS on Windows) don't currently have a Velodyne lidar, so have not attempted to port it.
It looks like the Velodyne Lidar ROS node has not been enabled on Windows. It looks like there are several linux specific commands in the cmake file which need windows equivalents.

If you are using Cygwin, you can use cmake-gui and use the interface to fill your path, this limits the risk of typos and it is more obvious to find the missing fields.
Another option is to edit hte CMakeCache.txt in your build directory to give the paths, so you don't have to declare the variables as environment variables.

Failing to build Boost components locally with Bazel build

I am trying to build Boost library locally and want to use it as a local_repository in my own project. I am referring to this (https://github.com/nelhage/rules_boost) for help.
I have a directory tree like this:

Very shockingly, the source file which is complaining (libs/container/src/global_resource.cpp) and the header that it is complaining about (boost/container/pmr/memory_resource.hpp) are both correctly included in the srcs and hdrs list.
I played with your rules a bit and the biggest problem I see is incomplete dependencies. For example I tried :algorithm component, and that needs to depend on :tuple. I guess you just needs to make sure all dependencies are set correctly.
I played more with container, and the problem I encountered was incorrect include dirs. If you run your build with -s flag, bazel will output all the command lines so you can inspect them and check that -isystem flags contain the directory that contains boost/container/... . What can also help you is the bazel flag --sandbox_debug, which will prevent the sandbox directory from being deleted so you can see which files are where and also you can reproduce the compiler invocation without running through bazel.
Last, bazel does not understand .ipp header extension yet (tbh I've never heard of it, but I also know next to nothing about boost). I have a change in flight that will introduce this.

find_path doesn't work if environment variable has spaces

I'm trying to make my cmake project automatically compile but I have some difficulties when my path contains spaces.

I must admit, I would have expected this to "just work" too, however it looks like it's actually the quotation marks in CODETRAINER_PATH when it has spaces that are the cause of the problem.
Either don't add quotes when defining the environment variable CODETRAINER_PATH, or modify your CMake code something like this:
