Dynamics 365: Create popup with table and search bar - dynamics-crm

I am attempting to create popup that appears when a ribbon button is clicked on a record.
The goal is that when a "Qualify" ribbon button is clicked on the "Lead" record, a popup will appear that has a search bar to look up "Account" records to see if the account already exists.
I have looked into the Xrm.Navigation.openConfirmDialog() method, but it doesn't seem like there is a way to add a search/table to the popup. Also looked some into the openForm() method, but that doesn't seem too useful in this situation.
I am still fairly new to D365 so I'm not exactly sure what the best way to create something like this would be, so any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated. I would prefer to do this without HTML, however I feel like it might be necessary for something like this to work?

Buttons in a view in Dynamics 365

I am new with Dynamics 365 and are not sure of how I can achieve this.
I am looking into having some buttons in a view.
Maybe a view isn't the best way of doing it, but what I want to do is to have a list of records connected to the logged in user (similar to a view)
But on each row/record I want to have multiple buttons. These buttons can be like 'Complete' (Changes status on task and updates the view) , 'Send email'(Starts a workflow) and so on.
What are some of the ways of doing this? Either with Javascript/C#/plugin or something else.
You cannot add buttons in views/subgrids directly.
That’s when we add ribbon/command bar buttons using Ribbon workbench usually.

There is a PowerApps Components Framework (PCF - preview) coming out soon, then we can build custom grid control with the layout/buttons we want.

If you look at view below where I have selected number of contact and then I have a Button at top "Nominieren" which is shown and clicking on it will perform whatever action is needed.
There will be java-script on click of button, from Java script you could call Action or workflow or perform operation in Java script itself.

Now when you look at image below I have no contact selected and it does not show button on Ribbon.
It might be possible. I haven't tried this but you can write JavaScript for a view column now (since CRM 2016).
If you go to a view you can double click on a view column to view its properties. There are two properties you might be interested in:

Custom form in Outlook Task is not syncing

My partner and I created a custom task form to be used in Outlook using the developer mode to do that, and we published it to the Organization Forms Library for anyone to open. We're running into issues that I personally can't seem to find on how to resolve:
Custom forms aren't syncing correctly.
When I complete out the custom form, and I assign it to someone else they might be missing details like the dates I picked from the date picker, and text within the text box are gone too. It's very odd that sometimes some would get all the details that an end-user would input but that's like a 1/8 chance. I feel like there's a disconnect where it just won't behave like any other task. Cache mode or no cache mode doesn't matter it seems. When the person assigns it back with changes made on their end, those changes aren't seen on my side. I just have the same original details that I made when I first made it. We're on Exchange Server 2010.
Looks like a custom form was not published correctly to others in the organization. Try to create a new Outlook item on other machines with your custom forms to make sure they were deployed correctly.
Note, message forms default to separate layouts for composing and reading. Many people find their first message form doesn't look right when they receive an item created with it. That's simply because they forgot to click the Edit Read Page button and customize the Read layout!

How to add RichText editor to a page as component in HippoCMS?

I'm creating some project using HippoCMS 10 and I need to add RichText editor as part of the page, so that customer can use it and fill something there. This editor must act exactly the same way as in Document Editor (customer can click Image button in toolbar and select image from ImagePicker dialog box).
Can't find anything about it in HippoCMS official documentation. I learned how to create custom plugins and how to integrate CKEditor into page separately, but for image picking, I need default behaviour as in Hippo.
How can I achieve this? Any help will be appreciated!
I think your question was answered on the community group. The answer there was:
"it should be quite easy to have a CKEditor in the website.
However, it doesn't really make sense to me to have site visitors able to pick CMS documents and images from the site. The picker dialogs are designed to work inside the CMS only. You should be able to create your own picker dialog that can read from a REST service that exposes the images/documents.
I don't think it will be possible to reuse the CMS picker dialog in the site."

"your use case is fine, when I said "it doesn't really make sense", I was really referring to the technical limitations of the pickers. You should be able to achieve what you want with a custom dialog that plugs into a REST service though. Unfortunately there is no quick solution for this that I can think of."

Sharepoint 2010 - create page with cropping image field

I'm using Sharepoint 2010 (as a beginner). I need to find the best way to allow a user to create a new page inside a sharepoint site. The page must have an image field which the user can crop when he creates the page.
I have 3 problems concerning this:
How can I allow my user to create the page in a single step. The default behaviour is: create page with Title, Url and Content type and the edit the page layout or the page properties. Is there a way to do this in a single step?
What view should my user use when editing the page? The "Edit page" view, or the "Edit properties"? I don't like the "Edit page" view because... it doesn't look like the right way to do it... BUT, I like the fact that I can use my custom BaseFieldControls in this view. The "Edit properties" look great, BUT, customizing it looks like a nightmare. And, of course, I cannot ask the user to use both views...
One of my requests is to allow the user to upload a sharepoint image for the page, and then to crop tree different sizes using the base image. The big question is: where should I allow my user to do this?
In a webpart inside the "Edit properties" window? - Not very easy to integrate it. It seems almost impossible.
In a custom BaseFieldControl in the "Edit page"? Would be great, but, I don't want the user to use this view.
Create my own Asses Picker aspx page for the "Upload image" field, and replace the default one - _layouts/AssetImagePicker.aspx? Is this even possible?
I dont have an answer for everything but for number 1, maybe:
Check out SPServices. It is a Jquery project which is designed to help people use Jquery on Sharepoint sites. It is really useful for accessing, editing, and writing data is less lines of code than ever before... Unless you are a genius and have SP figured out which most do not.
To be honest, the only way to do things in "1 step" is with javascript anyway...

How to create a button like New Mail in Outlook add-in?

Can anyone pls tell me how to create a button(in CommandBar) like 'New Mail' (with a dropdown list) in Outlook?
When one clicks on the button it should do some action and when clicked on the down arrow mark, it should populate a list of items. I am in need of this very much.
If anyone know the answer pls let me know.

Assuming Outlook<2007, you add a new button to the explorer/inspector via CommandBars.Add("foo", Type:=msoControlDropdown) and add entries to the drop-down via myDropdown.Add("bar").
See also the reference for CommandBarComboBox.
You can't populate it on click though, you have to find other suitable events for that, e.g. Explorer.SelectionChange.
On Outlook >= 2007 you need to customize the ribbon which is a bit more writing work. Customizing the Ribbon in Outlook 2007 is a good introduction into that.
To create a new mail item use myOlApplication.CreateItem(olMailItem) or myMailFolder.Items.Add(), set it up as needed and show it in an inspector via e.g. myMailItem.Display().
Sound like you are looking for a split button. Unfortunately the API does not expose that.
You can hack up a Popup under the button which is a poor attempt of a split button.
