JMeter: Count comparison of value fetched from Beanshell Postprocessor, using the Beanshell assertion - jmeter

I have a JMeter Test which sends a GET request to fetch certain filenames.
I was trying to get the count of the number of files and compare it with an integer value.
If the count is greater than the integer, the test should pass.
For this, I used a Beanshell PostProcessor to get the count of the string obtained in the response.

However, was hoping to use this count value in the Beanshell assertion to validate it with a number. What is the right way of doing this?

You can do everything in a single assertion. Be aware that starting from JMeter 3.1 you're supposed to be using JSR223 Test Elements and Groovy language for scripting so I would suggest going for JSR223 Assertion instead.

User Beanshell processor to write code so that data driven testing performed rather than using csv

I want to test a Get Request with list of values. I dont want to use CSV ,
so i started using Beanshell Preprocessor and has those values in Array. Then used for loop to use those values and send to Get Request in HTTP Request. Every this was Successful except sending values to Get request. It is reading all values and sending the last read value to Get request.
Question : I want my request to run for each value when code reads the data one by one.

We cannot help you without seeing the full code and knowing what you're trying to achieve but one thing is obvious: you should not be using Beanshell, since JMeter 3.1 it's recommended to use Groovy for scripting.
Current problem with your code is:
ttvalue array contains 6 elements
n=22
the line TtValuedetails=ttvalue[i]; will cause failure on 7th iteration of the loop due to IndexOutOfBoundsException
If you want to send a request for each value of the ttvalue array the easiest is converting it into separate JMeter Variables like:
ttvalue_1=34324324224
ttvalue_2=fdadsfadsf
etc.
and using ForEach Controller for iterating the values.
Example Groovy code for storing the values into JMeter Variables:

Extracting corresponding values in JSR223 post processor in JMeter Randomly

Hi All / Dimitri T Could you please post your valuable thoughts on extracting corresponding Values (For example ItemID1 and ItemSlot1) in one block of code randomly. I was able to write below Jsr223 postprocessor code and it is working fine. But when there are Blank spaces in ItemSlot id, then they are not fetching. From below code , i am passing ${rannum} under "Match No" in required regular expression.
Note: There will be more than 100 corresponding values. In some cases, we won't have ItemSlot1.i.e Blank/null values are appearing from server response. Hence, my script is not picking corresponding values.

If you need to extract a random match/pair of matches from the response using Regular Expression Extractor - it's sufficient just to provide 0 as the "Match No" and it will automatically fetch the random match group so you won't have to write any code:
Also be aware that Post-Processors are executed in the order they appear (upside down) so:
If your JSR223 PostProcessor is above the Regular Expression Extractor - ItemID1_matchNr will be undefined
If your JSR223 PostProcessor is below the Regular Expression Extractor - your rannum variable won't have any value
Also your response seems to be JSON so it makes sense switching to JSON JMESPath Extractor which is more powerful and convenient

How to get Maximum value from correlated IDs in Jmeter?

I have scenario where I need to capture dynamic Order-value IDs from response and among those values, I need to select maximum value and pass it to the next request.
How can we achieve this with the help of Jmeter tool?
Assuming you have the following JMeter Variables from the PostProcessor:
foo_1=1
foo_2=5
foo_3=10
foo_matchNr=3
You can get the maximum value as follows:
Add JSR223 PostProcessor as a child of the request, make sure it goes after the PostProcessor which returns your Order-ID values
Put the following code into "Script" area:
List values = new ArrayList()
for (int i=1; i <= (vars.get('foo_matchNr') as int); i++) {
values.add((vars.get('foo_' + i) as int))
}
vars.put('foo_max', Collections.max(values) as String)
Assuming everything goes well you should be able to access the maximum value as ${foo_max} where required.

loop through array values in jmeter Json path and assert each value

I have this filtered JSON response from Json Path exression

I need to write some assertion which will basically assert these values are in a range ex: between 30 and 60.
I am not getting any pointers on how to assert this in jmeter.
JMeter doesn't offer appropriate Test Elements so you will have to do some scripting.
The below code assumes JMeter version is equal or higher than 3.0. For earlier JMeter versions you will have to put Json-smart libraries somewhere in JMeter Classpath
Add Beanshell Assertion after the JSON Path PostProcessor

Need to extract dynamic values from a string response in Jmeter

from the string response "ACCOUNT_DETAIL_ACCOUNT_PRODUCT_SERVICES_EDIT_UPDATE_NameSpace.grid.setSelectedKeys(["BSS1","DS1","HYS1","MS1","PTS1","QS1","USG1","YS1","RT10086","RT10081","RT10084","RT10082","OT10076","RT10083","UT10081","RT10085"]);"
I have tried using the regular expression extractor :

But the above regular expression works only if there are 16 values in the response. If the response contains less number of values, for example, "ACCOUNT_DETAIL_ACCOUNT_PRODUCT_SERVICES_EDIT_UPDATE_NameSpace.grid.setSelectedKeys(["BSS1","DS1"]);"
then the above regular expression doesn't work.
How can I extract the values in the response if the total count is unknown?
Also the double quotes in the response need to be omitted.
Is there any post processor using which dynamic values can be extracted?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Where:
data is byte array containing parent sampler's response data
vars is a shorthand to JMeterVariables class which provides read/write access to JMeter Variables.
As a result you'll have variables like:

Keys_2=DS1
..
Keys_matchNr=X
