Oracle ADF : Page fragment not showing using taskflow inside region - oracle

I have dragged and dropped a task flow containing a View with input texts from the Data Control to the main page. Everytimes i run in , the region is blank, the page fragment isn't displayed
<f:facet>
<af:region value="#{bindings.myTaskFlow.regionModel}" id="r9">
</f:facet>
What could be the cause ?

This is due to either that taskflow is not secured in Jazn or current user does not have access to that taskflow even though it is secured.

Apex - set items values after submit

I have to regions with items on my page. One of them is to edit data, another one is display only. Editable region is hidden on page load and shows when users click on a button. I'd like to pass data between these regions after submit a page. Are computations after submit the only way to do that? I tried with processes after submit, before header etc. but it didn't work.
I'd like to have one pl/sql code to pass data between two regions after submit, how to do such a thing?
Other options include
dynamic action (you'd use Set value)
button's Redirect to page in this application (where you'd redirect to the same page; Link Builder then lets you choose which items will be set to which values)
If you still can't make it work, consider creating sample page on apex.oracle.com; then provide login credentials so that someone might have a look.

Data-view is not updating when entity is updated in Mendix

Question is: How to show data in data-view in such a way that if entity is updated some how dataview is updated too.
This is my Entity named latestReading.
Here is my page LatestReading that show latest readings. It contains three data views.
This page is not called directly, as it expect a object latestReading. Hence a micro-flow named showLatestReadingPage is executed that fetches or create latestReading object and pass it to the LatestReading page and display LatestReading page.
Here is that micro-flow.
getOrCreateLatestReading is a micro-flow that returns us the a latestReading object if it is available or create a new latestReading object if it is not already created and then returns it.
Here is that micro-flow.
These are the properties of first of the three data-views in LatestReading page as shown diagram of LatestReading Page above. Name of this DataView is TemperatureDataView
These are the properties of text widget that is inside TemperatureDataView data-view. Its name is temperatureText. It shows value of temperature in the TemperatureDataView.
And this is the caption of temperatureText text widget:
Problem is when another micro-flow updates the value of latestReading the text widget is not updated. I need to reload it by clicking on navigation link of LatestReading page again.
I need my text widget in data view to keep updating value of latestReading when it is updated my some other micro-flow
The issue is that ‘refresh in client’ only works if the microflow is executed in the same context as the page (client) that the user is seeing. For example if there is a button on the page that triggers a microflow that refreshes the client then it will update the widget. However, if the microflow is triggered by the system (e.g. a scheduled event) then these changes are in a different context. Also if another user triggers a refresh it will only refresh that user’s client. Also if one user is logged in through multiple browsers (i.e. has multiple sessions, it also means that for each session there is a different user context.
The simplest solution in this case would likely be to use an appstore widget that periodically triggers a refresh on the object displayed in the dataview, such as this one: https://appstore.home.mendix.com/link/app/27/ . Simply create nanoflow or microflow with a change action that changes no attributes but refreshes the object.

Oracle Apex - Losing session state when I click on hyperlink that is supposed to direct me to different page in application

I am currently working in Oracle APEX version 5.1.2. I have created an interactive grid in my application that queries data from a table stored in the Oracle database. The data being queried is just several different URLs that refer to different pages in my application. So in other words, in each cell of one of the columns in the interactive grid there is a URL.
Then on a different page in the same application, I have created an interactive report that queries all of the data from the interactive grid. One of the columns in that interactive report is set to type "Link" and the link attribute is set to #LINK#. So each cell in that column contains a hyperlink for one of the URLs stored in the interactive grid.
The problem is that when I click on the hyperlink, I lose my session state and and am redirected to the login page. When I do then login, I am directed to the page in the application that the link was supposed to direct me to. The link only works if I hard code my current session ID in the URL in the database. But I'm trying to find a suitable substitution string for the session ID so that I don't have to hard code the session ID. I have tried the substitution strings &SESSION. and :APP_SESSION and &APP_SESSION. and V('SESSION') and nothing has worked.
Does anyone have any ideas of how to achieve this so that I don't lose my session state?
Thank you in advance.
Update:
Apparently there is no problem with the url formed.
Could you inspect the element and display the generated html on the page?
I think you should not fill in the "link attributes" field, it should be blank.
Click "Target" and there put the value #LINK# in the "URL" field.

Oracle APEX default value not working on cascaded items

I have a blank page with a static content region (Template = Form Region). I select a project via a select list (there is only one project, so it automatically selects it). I then have a key popup lov (a popup lov that displays the description not the returned number value) from which I select a person to be in this project. I am trying to get the form to display the person I selected and saved previously when the form launches for the first time (since the project is chosen due to there being one). This works when you refresh the page, but it doesn't work if you log out and log back into the form. I tried using the default value with a sql query. I tried using a dynamic action that fires when the project changes; but neither approaches work. I fiddled with all the settings, but couldn't get anything to work. Does anyone know how to accomplish this in Oracle APEX?
I even added a refresh of the cascading popup lov to the dynamic action. I can see the hidden input item showing my defaulted value, but the popup lov does not display it on screen. Is this an Oracle bug?
Also in Javascript from the console
$s("P51_LINE_MANAGER1", "7104");
sets the hidden value, but doesn't display on screen.
$v("P51_LINE_MANAGER1");
does however return 7104.

Partial refresh of JSF page using ui:repeat and AJAX

I have a page say "Main Page" (Page 1) which looks like a Outlook calendar page having a large number of rows displayed using . Actually, the columns represent "Weeks" and the rows represent "Products". The functionality is that the user can choose a product week combination and create offers for the chosen week.Ideally, as we have a lot of rows (products), we should have ideally implemented pagination but we have not.
We use JSF2 (Mojarra faces that comes with JBoss EAP 6.0). Main Page uses a different bean and Details page uses a different bean and both are in session scope.
When the user creates an offer, instead of refreshing the entire page (i.e. Page1), we just refresh the impacted cells using AJAX. However, the On double clicking the slot(offer), we redirect to a different page (Page2) that displays offer details.
Page 1 - Main Page and Page 2 - Details page.
There are 2 cases from here :
Case 1: User goes from Main page to the details page, just views information on the details page and clicks the close button. In this case, it is enough for me to display Main Page as it was before I opened the details page. To achieve this, we used browser history.back(). However, we faced the below issues :
(a) history.back() works only in Firefox and does not work in Chrome/IE.
(b) Even if we do history.back(), the page loading is cleary visible and as our page is heavy, it takes a few seconds. I would like to avoid re-rendering of main page again (i.e. make it look like opening a popup from the main page and closing it)
Case 2: User goes from Main Page to Details page and makes certain updates which require us to reflect those updates in the main page.(For example: change color of the slot from red to green on the main page).
Currently, when Details page is closed, we call an API that provides us with refreshed data (so that we do not need to maintain the list of actions that the user had performed) and we reload the entire Main page (Page1). However, as the page takes a long time to load, we are asked to refresh only the affected slots/rows.
So, the problem here is that if we have to achieve the refresh of Main Page through AJAX, we need to maintain a list of activities that has been done on the details page and feed it through AJAX which appears to be a complicated activity. (We also want to avoid calling the API.)
Is there any workaround which helps us to refresh only the selected rows on the Main Page to minimise the page load time. Can ui:repeat be partially re-rendered ?
PLease advise.
