Accessing NIFI UI remotely - installation

I did install Nifi on Linux, updated the nifi properties
nifi.web.https.host='ip address where nifi is running'
nifi.web.https.port=8443
Yet when i try to launch browser
https://ip:8443/nifi
i am unable to launch the Nifi UI. Kindly let me know if anything else has to be set in the NIFI properties to access the UI remotely

What I would do is check that the NiFi service/process is running properly. If the NiFi service isnt running properly, then getting it to run will help solve the issues. However, if it is running, I would check that the port is open using a command such as netstat -an | grep 8443 to show what is listening on that port. You can then connect to whatever the netstat command shows. Also check the nifi.properties file to confirm that the information being used is properly set and configured.

How to keep logstash service running when I logout from remote server

I configure logstash service following the instructions in the link https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/running-logstash-windows.html (logstash as a service using nssm) but I noted that the service does actually not running when I am disconnected from the remote server I installed it.
Is there a way to fix this problem?

The same thing happens also running logstash manually (I mean , running the appropriate bat file in command prompt).

Unable to connect to Mosquitto broker running on a Windows EC2 Instance from outside the EC2 Instance [duplicate]

I have a virtual machine that is supposed to be the host, which can receive and send data. The first picture is the error that I'm getting on my main machine (from which I'm trying to send data from). The second picture is the mosquitto log on my virtual machine. Also I'm using the default config, which as far as I know can't cause these problems, at least from what I have seen from other examples. I have very little understanding on how all of this works, so any help is appreciated.
What I have tried on the host machine:
Disabling Windows defender
Adding firewall rules for "mosquitto.exe"
Installing mosquitto on a linux machine
Starting with the release of Mosquitto version 2.0.0 (you are running v2.0.2) the default config will only bind to localhost as a move to a more secure default posture.
If you want to be able to access the broker from other machines you will need to explicitly edit the config files to either add a new listener that binds to the external IP address (or 0.0.0.0) or add a bind entry for the default listener.
By default it will also only allow anonymous connections (without username/password) from localhost, to allow anonymous from remote add:
allow_anonymous true

You have to run with
mosquitto -c mosquitto.conf
mosquitto.conf, which exists in the folder same with execution file exists (C:\Program Files\mosquitto etc.), have to include following line.
listener 1883 ip_address_of_the_machine(192.168.1.1 etc.)
By default, the Mosquitto broker will only accept connections from clients on the local machine (the server hosting the broker).
Therefore, a custom configuration needs to be used with your instance of Mosquitto in order to accept connections from remote clients.
On your Windows machine, run a text editor as administrator and paste the following text:
listener 1883
allow_anonymous true
This creates a listener on port 1883 and allows anonymous connections. By default the number of connections is infinite. Save the file to "C:\Program Files\Mosquitto" using a file name with the ".conf" extension such as "your_conf_file.conf".
Open a terminal window and navigate to the mosquitto directory. Run the following command:
mosquitto -v -c your_conf_file.conf
where
-c : specify the broker config file.
-v : verbose mode - enable all logging types. This overrides
any logging options given in the config file.
I found I had to add, not only bind_address ip_address but also had to set allow_anonymous true before devices could connect successfully to MQTT. Of course I understand that a better option would be to set user and password on each device. But that's a next step after everything actually works in the minimum configuration.
For those who use mosquitto with homebrew on Mac.
Adding these two lines to /opt/homebrew/Cellar/mosquitto/2.0.15/etc/mosquitto/mosquitto.conf fixed my issue.
allow_anonymous true
listener 1883
you can run it with the included 'no-auth' config file like so:
mosquitto -c /mosquitto-no-auth.conf
I had the same problem while running it inside docker container (generated with docker-compose).
In docker-compose.yml file this is done with:
command: mosquitto -c /mosquitto-no-auth.conf

Cannot run styleguidist along side with laravel development server

I am trying to document my React Components and I am running styleguidist server along side with Laravel development server but the styleguidist server crashes with this error.
You have another server running at port 6060 somewhere, shut it down first

I have configured the styleguidist server to run at port 6060 as to resolve this issue and succeeded to run the server only once. After that I am getting this issue again.
How can i resolve this??
The error is saying you have something else running at that port. Have you tried a different one? If you are running a UNIX system, you can see what is running on that port with:
lsof -i tcp:6060

Hadoop 2.6.4 Web UI Time Out

I installed Hadoop 2.6.4 on my AWS - 4 instance; 1 namenode; 1 secnamenode; 2 slaves. After the installation is completed, I tried seeing the namenode on Web UI using URL ec2-52-90-242-76.compute-1.amazonaws.com:50070 I am getting timed out.. anybody help??
If you are accessing from your system, you need to update your hosts files with IP address along with hostname or you can open directly with IP_address:50070
As well as check below
Check Firewall is on or off (Recommended is off)
Check Iptables service status (Recommended is stop)
Check SELINUX (Recommended is disables)

Unable to get Mesos to run from tutorial: Setting up a Single Node Mesosphere Cluster

I have been following this tutorial to try and setup a single node mesosphere cluster from their
official tutorial:

I followed all the commands without any issues, and I also added the ports 5050 and 8080 to my security group. When I try to access the console for mesos/marathon, I get a "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" message.
They also recommend checking it the following way:
MASTER=$(mesos-resolve `cat /etc/mesos/zk`)
mesos-execute --master=$MASTER --name="cluster-test" --command="sleep 5"
But that comes up with an error:

I am not really sure how to troubleshoot this either, and there are not many tutorials I could find on how to install mesos on ubuntu.
I checked the contents of the zk file, seems to be the default value.
$ cat /etc/mesos/zk
zk://localhost:2181/mesos
I would really appreciate any clues on how to go about this one.

Mesos uses gethostbyname2 to resolve hostnames to IPs. The first thing I would recommend, is to try "ping localhost" and "ping hostname", and verify that there are no strange settings in /etc/hosts. If you're doing a multi-node cluster, I'd recommend that hostname map to the public IP address (not 127.0.x.1).
If that doesn't help, you can try setting the --ip and --hostname flags when starting mesos-master and mesos-slave, to bypass the gethostbyname2 resolution. These can also be set by writing to the file-based parameters, e.g. /etc/mesos/mesos-master/ip
For additional troubleshooting, try running wget http://localhost:5050 (or curl -L) from the mesos master, to verify that it is locally visible. Also try wget http://<public_ip>:5050 to verify that the web server is up and serving to the public IP. Depending on how your (EC2?) node is setup, you may need to expose/forward the port, or connect to a VPN.
Thanks Adam. I ran the wget and curl commands, and nothing was actually listening on port 8080 or 5050. I did open those ports in the ec2. A simple reboot did the trick however, once I ssh'ed into the ec2 instance after the reboot, both mesos and marathon were running and both ports are now showing after I ran
netstat -ntln.
