Hi I'm currently trying to deploy Watson Studio Lite but it will not allow me to do this without a resource group. And when I'm trying to create a resource group I do not have permission to do so.
Could someone please advise? IM taking the IBM data science certification online with Coursea and their instructions are either dated or not specific to my issue.
when creating a new IBM Cloud account, a default resource group should be created automatically. Unfortunately you will not be able to create another one without upgrading to a paid account. There are two options:
You can chat with support in the support center.
You can create a new account with a different email address.

We're in Databricks Standard SKU, in standard SKU, there is no access control and every users are admin, due to which everybody has previlage to create there own cluster. Is there a way we can restrict the cluster creation for databricks users in stadard SKU.
I know in Premium SKU, we could easily create groups and in the Entitlements option, we can uncheck the Allow cluster creation option. Is there a similar functionality is available in Standard SKU? Any pointers would help.
Also, if somebody starts the Databricks cluster is there a way we can get alerts/notifications.
Azure Databricks Standard
Databricks have 5 levels for access control and in the standard plan, all are disabled.
In standard, every user is an admin, and any user can add another user even that does not have access or any resource group or subscription.
Azure Databricks Premium
Premium, we have role-based access control. Before working on these make sure it’s enabled.
Databricks cluster is there a way we can get alerts/notifications ?

I wanted to try provisioning my app resources in Azure using the TeamsToolkit, but it fails creating the resource group since my company requires 4 tags to be added.
Is there a way to tell the toolkit to either add those tags or create the resource group myself and make it aware of it?
I tried doing with Teams Toolkit and didn't find any option to configure the resources (choose existing or setup policy).
Following the doc also there's no mention about doing such - Deploy your app to azure and even on the market place it is not
mention that we can configure it.
I am working on a course and the project had me create an account in IBM Cloud (all are in the Lite/Free account), then create an instance of IBM Watson Studio, then try to create a new, empty project. When I created the project and added the storage, I was taken back to Watson but there was no instance of a project.
I tried to create another one, but now it says that I already have an instance of the Cloud Object Storage and can't create a new one (Message says: Create Service, You can only have one instance of a Lite plan per service. To create a new instance, either delete your existing Lite plan instance or select a paid plan.). However, there is no instance listed for the COS in the Resource List (though it shows the Watson instance), and I don't get an option to select an existing COS, only to add a new one.
I have searched the help in IBM, Googled for help, logged out and back in, closed the tabs, cleared my cache, checked other answers in Stack Overflow, and can find no help to create a project, access, delete, or do anything with the instance of the COS. I tried entering the administrator and manager settings in the account for Watson Studio and COS, but that didn't help either.
Is there any way that I can correct this so I can move on in the project? I tried to add screen shots, but I'm not allowed to. Thanks for any help!
You should be able to see your COS instances at https://cloud.ibm.com/resources under the "Storage" section.
All your Watson instances will under "Services"
Another check you'll need to make is the Account. At the top right corner, make sure you're working in the same account that you initially created the Object Storage instance.
I finally figured it out! In Watson Studio in the menu, click on Administration, then click Storage Delegation. Then click the buttons to enable projects and catalogs. Try to create your project and it should automatically have your object storage available.
I have the sam issue and that work for me is that click the "Refresh" button under the 1. Storage

I cannot create a Data Collection in Watson Discovery as it tells me:
400 only 1 free environment is allowed per organization
which would suggest that I already have one setup, but I used the API to list environments and it shows the Watson News Environment and no other.
How do I clean up my system to start again?
I have tried deleting the service and starting again, but no joy.
The limit is at the Bluemix Organization level so it may be that there is an environment under an instance created by another user in your organization. If you are not the owner of the org, you may need to check with that person to see if there are other active environments.
Can you please inform me, if OSB provides the option to allow access to specific projects via the OSB Console?
According to https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1213/wls/ROLES/secroles.htm#ROLES181 , I know that I am provided the option to create custom users, roles and groups but I cannot see anywhere the option of giving partial access to the development of projects via the console. My options end in the restriction of menus/options in total, or upon a specific timeframe etc.
