how to remove/edit old attachments using google classroom API - google-classroom

using the google classroom api i am able to modify attachments
and everytime i call the method
courses.courseWork.studentSubmissions.modifyAttachments
but the attachments just concatenate to the previously attached files.
my question is how can i remove an attachment that i accidently added or that i want to replace?
just like the classroom UI enables you to remove an attachment after you added it
Google classroom UI

Unfortunately there is no feature available to remove attachments with Google Classroom API . This is a product limitation for the API and can be promoted for future development [1]. Your idea will then be available for other members of the community to browse and vote on. Depending on the business impact Google product engineers typically roll out into production.

Can I get working places for all users from organization using calendar API?

I wonder if I can get working places for all users from organization using calendar API. Coworkers from my organization uses google calendar to mark if they work from home or office. I attach screen to show what I am talking about.
I've searched many endpoints from calendar API but did not find suitable one. Is it possible to get those information from API?
It is not yet possible to retrieve those information from the API.
But Google already documented it (tutorial, API reference) and it should come at some point in the (hopefully) near future.
Here is the related issue in their tracker : https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/199918380

Relationship between Outlook JS API and Outlook REST API

I am looking to develop an addin for Outlook using the Office JS API. Reading the API documentation, there are a number of references to making a call to the Outlook REST API to do various things.
As an example, I want to retrieve a list of contacts from the local machine. I have seen posts suggesting I need to make a call to the Outlook REST API, however this doesn't make sense to me. If they are local/offline contacts, why would I need to do that? I feel as though I'm missing some relationship between the two.
A screenshot for the list of contacts I want to retrieve:
Question
Could someone outline how they fit together (if at all)? Is it expected that if I'm going to effectively use this API, I will also need to have my data "online", such that it's available from some REST service?
As the contacts are stored locally it can not be retrieved using REST API. Getting the contacts via Office JS is not possible today. We track Outlook add-in feature requests on ourĀ user-voice page. Please add your request there. Feature requests on user-voice are considered, when we go through our planning process.

Slack: how does one go about providing the 'box/dropbox/google' like integration?

Slack offers Box/DropBox/Google integrations, specifically the ability to add (pick via a dialog) a file to Slack from one of these offerings.
I have tried my best look up the different sort of integration possibilities but cannot find any documentation that I can leverage to build my own (to another product).
How does one go about providing a similar integration for his product?
The reason you do not find anything on how to create integrate products similar to Google Drive and Dropbox in the official API documentation is that those are custom solutions created in collaboration between Slack and vendors like Google. If you want something similar for your product I would advise you to contact the Slack business team for details.
However, there is one feature in the API that allows you to create some of the functionality:
Slack app unfurling: Automatically add custom attachments whenever a user posts a message which contains a URL to your product. Those can include preview images and text of your product.

Google Speech API still supported?

I just tried to register a project for use with the Google Speech API, and I couldn't see the API in the the list when I filtered it for the words "speech" or "voice". Is the API still supported?
I just found the new Web Speech API here Did this take the place of the Speech API v2?
You have to be a member of chromium-dev discussion list before you can enable the Speech API in your Google Developers Console.
Go to Chromium Dev group and click Join the list.
Go back to Google Developers Console, select your project, enter APIs & Auth / APIs. You'll now see Speech API. Click to enable it.
Go to Credentials, Create new Key, Server Key. You may optionally specify a list of IPs, for security.
You now may make queries to Google Speech API v2. Keep in mind that this is an experimental API, and limited to 50 queries per day per project.

gData API - "This feed is read-only" error when adding to Google Calendar

I'm using Google Apps for my domain, and trying to enable access to the calendar on my website.
The problem is that I get This feed is read-only error every time I try to add an event to the calendar. Here's where I post to: Link (dead link)
You're using the basic feed, which according to the documentation is always read-only. Use a feed URL ending in private/full or private/full-noattendees instead.
(Disclaimer: I work for Google, and as part of implementing the calendar side of Google Sync I've had some experience of working with the GData APIs, but anything I write here must be taken to be the views of a private individual rather than as official Google policy etc :)
