SSRS Reduces the Page setting and image size (Visual Studio 2012) - ssrs-2012

I have been using SSRS to write reports for a very long time, but needed to upgrade my environment so I installed VS2012. My previous version was 2008. I brought in published report which was working fine to make some visual improvements and this is my issue.
When I click report preview and click the Print Layout my report is rendered into 1/4 page. If I print a pdf from here, It does the same thing, and shows it is on a 11.33 x 14.67 page.
I have double checked the document parameters (Report, Body, etc.) and all are set to 8.5x11.
Does anyone have a clue as to why this is happening? Is it a setup thing in VS?

How do I submit a Visual Studio bug if the normal channels are not working?

I am using Visual Studio 2013. It keeps crashing under certain circumstances, so I'm trying to submit a bug report.
I have tried HELP > Feedback > Report a Bug, but after logging in at connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio it either has a message saying that I am not authorized to submit feedback for this connection (whatever that means), or the page is blank under the top banner. In either case, I can click the "Feedback" link on the banner, which takes me to a list of the most recently submitted items. From that list, there is no direct way to add an item, but the instructions say "After searching, the option to submit new feedback will be enabled." If I search (which takes literally minutes), I then get a "Submit Feedback" button at the top of the list. If I click this, it goes back to the blank page I saw before I clicked "Feedback" on the banner.
How am I supposed to submit my bug? How can I report this failure of the bug reporting service?
If you are having troubles submitting with the built in tools you can go to https://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio and manually submit a bug report there.
Using the built in tools are preferred because you can record a ETL trace and steps showing how to recreate the bug. When you post to connect they may ask you to do those things manually.
However, it is unlikely any bug in Visual Studio 2013 will be fixed. They only release updates for the current publicly released version of Visual Studio which is Visual Studio 2015 currently.

Why are my Crystal Reports 2008 Reports ignoring parameters at runtime?

I've recently updated a project's Crystal Reports documents to the latest version (CR2008), these are the regular reports built into Visual Studio 2010 after installing Crystal Reports free version.
Having updated the reports, they wouldn't ask for parameters within a Windows Forms application. I managed to solve this by simply adding the parameter to the report so it was displayed (I assume this somehow refreshed the fact that there was a parameter available!).
However, the viewer now asks for the parameter but appears to ignore it when the report actually loads.
Has anyone got any ideas? I don't really want to have to make a parameter GUI for every single report and then pass them all through!
Thanks in advance.
Replacing the viewer control with the updated one appears to have solved the problem, even though they were both reading from the same reference!

Crystal Reports in Visual Studio 2010

I just made the move to Visual Studio 2010 from 2008 and I guess I didn't do enough research before I moved. I seem to have gotten myself in quite a bind.
I knew Crystal Reports was no longer a part of 2010 but the beta was downloadable. I followed this document for deployment. My only change to this document is on the bindingRedirect element I changed the newVersion attribute value to 10.5.3700.0 because that is what is in the GAC and what was in the manifest of my 2008 project.
Unfortunately this is not working. Whenever I try to run a crystal report I get the exception :
An error has occured while attempting to load the Crystal Reports runtime.
Either the Crystal Reports registery key permissions are insufficient or the Crystal Reports runtime is not installed correctly.
At this point I think I am going to have to roll back and go back to VS 2008 until SAP comes out with a runtime. I can't believe there is not a work around for this as it will break so many projects that have Crystal Reports included in them.
Has anyone been able to work around this? If so, how?
Download the required package from here, install it and it will work,
Crystal Report Runtimes

Original link no longer working. Here is this other one (http://www.businessobjects.com/jump/xi/crvs2010/us2_default.asp) from this SO answer
