I'm currently migrating an Excel DNA project from an old .NET Framework to .NET6 - at the same time I'm also adding in Entity Framework Core (for the first time)
when using context.Customers.TolList() I'm getting an error:
System.PlatformNotSupportedException: 'Strings.PlatformNotSupported_DataSqlClient'
Clearly I'm not understanding how to use Excel DNA with entity-framework. Any pointers greatly welcomed.
Thanks
Jake

This is a "Veracity Platform" question - which I guess has a fairly small audience.
I'm using the veracity platform's application generator (based on Yeoman) to generate a sample application for .net core 2.x, using node.js.
yo #veracity/veracity:netcore-webapp
This creates a good basic .net core 2.x MVC project. Is there a way to further specify that I want to additionally include the "React/Redux" project template, like I would when creating a project in Visual Studio? That way the client app and the front-end webpack stack get started for me, which is nice.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
We do not have these configurations included in the generator yet. Uservoice will be added to Developer.veracity.com soon, but for now you may forward such feature requests also in the github project of the generator. Open an issue, and I will see when we can get it in to the backlog.

I am really new to C# and want to do a NLP project using SharpNLP. I know Currently it provides the following NLP tools:
sentence splitter
tokenizer
part-of-speech tagger
chunker
parser
name finder
coreference tool
interface to the WordNet lexical database
I tried several examples (i have those .nbin models) but failed to integrate the SharNLP tools to VS 2015. Can anyone give some guidance or samples to use this sharpNLP tool with VS.
Thanks
I have successfully created a sample project for newbies. You can get the project from the following link. PS:Please change the nbin file path as your's computer file path. Hope this will help.

As you can see i'm a newbie at this site and have a question about asp.net mvc and reporting. I want to create reports (interactive - for example when the data is displayed you can filter some information by categories or countries witout generating the report again) and dashboards for a mvc project and I don't know which tool to use. Has anybody used any tool that works for mvc and has options like this. I have worked before with crystal reports but only static reports for printing.
Thanks a lot in advance
SSRS will help you get started, It can be used with MVC as well.

I think this can help you, in the scenario you described I would do something like this ...

Im using EF Code first and i generate my model by "EF 4.x DbContext Fluent Generator for c#" extension in vs2010. but when i want to view my Entity model via EF Power tools i get this error:"Sequence Contains no matching element". is there any idea?
It's a bit too late and not sure if this would help but for others and historic reasons...
I had the same issue (with Beta 3 - and .NET 4/2010/EF5 etc.) - the
solution was relatively simple.
I just moved out the project from the 'solution directory' into the root of the solution.
I 'learned' that trick from dealings with 'migrations' and PM console - it wouldn't work if you have a lib (entities) - and your startup/executable - while any of the two is in a solution dir somewhere.
I am working for the Datameer plugin development and I am struck at Tutorial 3 of it. Does anybody know where do I see that Freemarker widget that I build in tutorial 3 working in Datameer UI???
I don't have the permission to create new tags and hence putting it under Hadoop. If anybody has the appropriate privileges, please create one for Datameer
Unfortunately the tutorial was for Datameer v1.4. We introduced an entirely new data visualization module in v2.0 and we are working on providing the same customizability for it in a near future release.
Sorry for the delayed response on this post. It turns out that in version 2.0+ of Datameer the visualization (now called Infographics) module has been rewritten leveraging the power of HTML5 to more intuitively visualize your data analysis.
I recommend that you take a look at the new features that 2.0 has to offer under http://www.datameer.com/learn/videos.html.
