Mose clicks not registering in Visual Studio

This is not a coding question, this is a problem I frequently encounter in the Visual Studio IDE. My mouse clicks are often ignored if I work fast. Usually it happens when I click on a variable name, the studio starts loading a tooltip or a highlighter for that variable and I immediately click on another variable or any other place in the editor window - the click will be ignored. Has anyone experienced anything like this?
This started happening around 2 years ago, don't remember exactly when, but it was right after a new version of the Studio was released.

Bad mouse cursor offset in visual studio itself

I have something really weird going on and don't know where the problem lies..
I recently started working on a Lenovo X1 Carbon with touchscreen. When working with the touchpad or external mouse there seems to be some kind of a bad offset when clicking inside my visual studio working pane.
I have to click on the row above to get my cursor to be set on the row below. This ONLY happens in Visual Studio's working pane.
I need to click on the red square to get my cursor on the place it is in the picture and I have NO idea how to fix this :-( I couldn't find any problem like this on the web.
I'm working in Visual Studio Enterprise 2015 on a brand new system with all drivers up to date. Running Windows 10 enterprise on a UHD display, so my DPI is set at 200% and perhaps the problem lies here...

Visual studio 2013 pro peek definition hangs

Any idea why Visual Studio peek definition will not work for any project or solution? I have a web, WP and a couple other ones. I can click on a class or method or property and click alt+F12 or right click and select peek definition. The peek window pops up with a progress bar like it is working but just hangs there. Nothing ever shows up in the peek window. Half the time I get this and half the time VS just crashes on me when I try and launch it. I have done a VS repair but that changed nothing.
So I uninstalled a couple dev prod tools and then did another repair and this time it fixed the issue. Peek pops up right away. So something was getting in the way.

visual studio 2005 command window 'of' autocomplete opens on wrong side

Hi everyone, I have a weird problem I can't figure out how to solve. I inherited a co-worker's computer, and on his visual studio 2005 in the command window, when I use the 'of' command, the auto-complete window that opens appears to grow to the left rather than to the right. This makes it impossible to see the start of any of the strings, because I keep the command window on the left side of my screen. This never used to happen on my old machine. He also had all his context menus opening to the left, but I fixed that in control panel and it didn't do anything to this. Restarting the computer didn't help. Any thoughts?

How do you minimize a window in the Visual Studio 2010 RC editor?

I am using the Visual Studio 2010 RC. Sometimes when I am working on a code file, I would like to minimize it.
In Visual Studio 2008 I just switched to MDI mode. Then I could minimize. In 2010, I can undock the window by dragging the tab, and that gets me half way to MDI, but I see no way to minimize the window.
Does anyone know how to do this?
Update - Closely-related question: For those of you that used MDI, how are you getting by? I like to have 4 documents open at once, in a 2x2 matrix. For example I like to look at one controller/view pair while working on another, for the sake of comparison. Then, maybe I edit my repository file, and I want to get back to my 4 windows. This is where I would minimize. Anyone have a workaround? How have you adapted?
Update 2 - Vote up my suggestion if you want this feature:
https://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/details/536110/please-offer-this-ultra-quick-alternative-to-a-minimize-feature-for-the-vs-2010-ide#
I think its disabled. I pressed Alt-Space in the undocked window and minimise was disabled.
